Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 16 Resurrection of the Dead

Chapter 16 Resurrection of the Dead

Snellig is Fizmos' friend and the first mate of the Dauntless.

But when he saw Snellig again, Fizmos was not happy, but terrified. Because Snellig was floating in the water, waving and calling him, "Fizmos..."

"He is dead!"

Jack's voice suddenly sounded, startling Fizmos. Fizmos' face was covered with cold sweat, and he said with palpitations: "I know... but I don't know why it happened. Snellig, shouldn't he go to the kingdom of the dead?"

Jack had a weird look on his face, "That's not a good place."

"It's really not a good place, so Snellig doesn't want to go there."

"Why don't you go and ask?"

Fitzmos looked at Jack dissatisfiedly, "Why don't you go?"

"I don't know him." Jack spread his hands. "From the look of him, it seems like he's inviting you to the shipwreck below."

Fitzmos became thoughtful. He looked at Jack and said, "Let's go down and take a look."

Jack shrugged and followed Fizmos off the Spray Lady, diving towards the shipwreck below.

When Snellig saw Fizmos approaching, he also turned and went downstream. Fizmos immediately knew that Jack had guessed correctly and that Snellig had indeed called him for a reason.

Thinking of this, Fizmos immediately sped up and followed Snellig into the interior of the Dreadnaught. The hull of the Dreadnaught was even more severely damaged, with several large holes on the bottom of the ship, which was obviously caused by hitting the reef.

Jack watched Fizmos enter the cabin, but he did not follow him in. Instead, he observed Fizmos's position from the hull. He waited until they stopped in the bottom cabin before he went in.

The bottom cabin of the Dreadnaught had been fused together, and the cargo hold where Fizmos was was suspended in mid-air. Only a lower deck remained in the cargo hold, on which was a safe that exuded a dark atmosphere.

"Fizmos..."

Snellig pointed at the safe and wanted to say something, but after he opened his mouth, only Fitzmos's name came out.

Fizmos waved to Jack, and the two of them swam out of the sea quickly, carrying the safe. After dragging the safe back to the Spray Goddess, Fizmos said, "This is Harindor's safe. Before we set off, I saw him put it on the Dreadnaught."

The Wave Lady was the main battleship, and the Dreadnought was its frigate, which formed a battleship squadron with several other frigates.

Jack glanced at the lock, "Is the key in Harindor's possession?"

Fitzmos stood up and rushed to the bridge. After groping around on Captain Harindor's body for a while, he found a key.

"I found it!"

He held up the key and wanted to share it with Jack, but found that Jack had left the safe and didn't know where he was going.

Although he was a little confused, Fizmos didn't think much about it. He quickly walked down from the control panel and opened the safe with the key. Inside was a spherical object. It was a green sphere with a black aura. There was a handle under its base.

This is a magic orb, a secondary equipment commonly used by spellcasters.

Fizmos reached out to take it out, but at this moment, a long sword slashed at him. Fizmos dodged hurriedly, and saw that all the dead sailors around him were resurrected and attacked him.

Fizmos dodged left and right, and easily maneuvered among the sailors. However, no matter how strong he was, he could not avoid the attacks of so many soldiers, and was soon forced into a dead end. Fizmos had no choice but to ram the sailors next to him, but ended up falling directly on the deck.

He actually passed through the bodies of the sailors—these sailors were souls!!!
Fizmos was horrified and quickly got up and rushed to the bridge. On the bridge, the soul of Captain Harindor was waiting for him, waiting for him to come up and attack him immediately.

The sailors did not disturb the duel between the captain and the first mate. They were quietly waiting for the outcome of the duel under the bridge.

At this moment, a man suddenly rushed out of the cabin. He held a shield and quickly passed through the bodies of the sailors and rushed directly to the safe. He quickly took out a piece of fireproof cloth, wrapped the magic ball inside, and then jumped off the boat.

"Fitzmoss, go!"

When Fizmos heard the shout, he immediately dodged Harindor's attack, rushed to the side of the ship and jumped down.

The two men were swimming in front, and the sailors were chasing them on the water, much faster than they could swim.

Fizmos said: "No, this is too slow, they are catching up."

"you go first!"

Jack said this, dived into the water and swam downwards.

The sailors immediately sank into the water and continued to chase Jack. It was obvious that the magic ball was their target.

Fizmos immediately swam to the shore, and Jack emerged from the water when he reached the shore. He hadn't run a few steps when the sailors chased him out from the bottom of the water, only a few steps away from him.

Jack threw the magic ball in his hand towards Fizmos, "Catch it!"

Then he immediately turned around and spread his hands to the sailors. The sailors immediately passed through Jack's body and rushed towards Fizmos.

Jack touched his chest. It felt a bit strange to have his soul passing through his body. But if these sailors had only this much intelligence, he and Fizmos would be fine. He chased after them with a smile, and when he saw Fizmos was about to be caught up, he immediately shouted, "Throw it to me!"

Fizmos followed suit and threw the orb to Jack.

After Jack received the ball, he immediately ran in the opposite direction. The sailors quickly chased after him, but Jack was much faster than Fizmos, and the sailors could not catch up for a while.

After running about a mile, the sailors suddenly disappeared. Jack ran a long way away in a daze, and when he looked back, he saw that the pursuers were gone. He was about to brake, but his feet were empty, and he fell out and slid a long way on the mud.

Jack tried to stand up, but found that he had accidentally run into the swamp. If he moved, his body would sink rapidly, and if he lay still, the sinking would stop.

There was no choice but to wait for Fizmos to come.

When Fizmos found Jack, he couldn't help but hold his forehead. What kind of luck did this guy have? He got rid of the pursuers and ran into the swamp.

He pulled some grass near the swamp, woven it into a rope, and threw it in front of Jack. Jack pulled the rope and slowly climbed out of the swamp.

After getting up, Jack handed the orb to Fizmos. Fizmos looked at him and took the orb in his hand, "Thank you!"

Jack smiled and said, "If I have to thank you, it should be you. Without you, I would have died a long time ago."

Fizmos wrapped up the orb and put it on his back, "When we return to Southshore Town, I will definitely recommend you to the Admiral."

Jack smiled, took out a bullet from his pocket and handed it to Fizmos. He had just entered the cabin to look for weapons and equipment. With bullets, they would have the ability to attack from a distance, and the rest of the journey would be much easier.
