Jack was powerless to do anything about it. Bulletproof vests and healing spells weren't a panacea. Given time, he could indeed gradually eliminate the terrorists scattered in various places, but what he lacked most right now was time.

Although Zoe had found a relatively safe hiding place under Kate's guidance, it was only temporarily safe. He had to find a way to get her out of there first.

Jack carefully stepped over the corpses and shell casings scattered everywhere. The heavy smell of blood and gunpowder reminded him of his experience fighting alongside the SEALs in Mexico a few years ago.

The Secret Service agents resisted fiercely, many emptying their magazines before dying, but their response was far too rigid against well-prepared terrorists. The terrorists who stormed the White House had a highly targeted operational plan and were extremely familiar with the building's internal structure.

Especially after a truck loaded with ammunition and equipment successfully rushed onto the northern lawn before the emergency response forces could encircle it, the terrorists, having received ample supplies from the truck, used offensive grenades and stun grenades to clear a path.

Otherwise, he would at least not doubt the stupidity of President Han and his artificial wife, or the rudimentary nature of the regime that appears to be a country.

But the skin color of the remaining terrorist corpses seemed to support his initial judgment, as there were both black and white people among them, and judging from the tattoos, they were most likely Americans.

Along the way, he collected many photos of the corpses' faces on his phone. Although he was currently offline and couldn't send them out, according to Kate, as long as she got to the continuous monitoring center, she could access the military network and try to check the situation in the underground bunker.

Jack only wanted to rescue Zoe and had no intention of playing the hero and saving the president.
