Chapter 75 Ada continues to guide you

Chapter 75 Ada continues to guide you
Wednesday was a day full of contradictions for the second-year Gryffindor students. Their classes today were History of Magic and Potions, two courses that were very different in both professors and content.

If the History of Magic class in the morning allows everyone to sleep well and feel full of happiness, then the Potions class in the afternoon can make students fall into an endless hell.

In the History of Magic classroom, Professor Binns had not arrived yet, so naturally he did not demonstrate his amazing wall-walking skills. However, even if he passed through the wall into the classroom later, few people would be able to see him, because everyone would have fallen asleep by then.

Before Ada even took out "A History of Magic" from her schoolbag, Fred and George had already impatiently laid down on the table, even adjusting their sleeping positions. The two brothers used this textbook written by Bathilda Bagshot as a pillow.

There was no life in the classroom. Almost everyone was ready for a good sleep. The most outrageous one was Lee Jordan. He actually brought a pillow to the classroom, and he was the most comfortable one among all the people in the classroom.

When the bell rang, no student left his desk or straightened his back. Professor Cuthbert Binns walked across the blackboard and entered the classroom without causing the same exclamation as he had the year before.

Professor Binns, with a pearly white color that belonged to a ghost, floated behind the podium and began his lecture today.

With the dry, low and monotonous voice, one student after another fell asleep. If someone snored or ground their teeth, it might just make Professor Binns angry and come back to life.

According to Nearly Headless Nick, wizards can leave their mark on the world, so that they can walk powerlessly wherever they have lived and walked, becoming a ghost that is neither wanted by the underworld nor accepted by the world of the living.

This is an option on the road to death, and few wizards choose to take such a path.

If Ada had to choose, she would rather face death bravely than "live" in such a meaningless way, without blood, without feeling, just "living" like this forever.

Ada cast a silencing spell on herself, which blocked out most of the sounds around her, similar to the Muggle earplugs. She did this just to block out Professor Binns' hypnosis. Professor Binns's "magic" was so powerful that Ada could not resist it at all.

Putting the History of Magic in front of her, Ada hid behind the textbook and wrote her essay on Charms. Last school year, Ada wrote most of her homework in History of Magic class, which was very effective, so Ada continued to do so this year to make effective use of the time in this class.

Ada concentrated on writing her paper. Not only did she complete the nine-inch long Charms paper, she also almost finished the homework assigned by Professor McGonagall.

She was so blinded by her homework that she didn't even notice the bell for the end of get out of class. If the twins hadn't snatched her quill, she might have sat there for a long time writing "On the Dangers of Incomplete Transfiguration."

The twins called Ada several times when the get out of class was over, but Ada didn't hear it at all, so naturally she didn't respond at all. That's when Fred tried to grab Ada's pen.

They also learned from Ada the benefits of the silencing spell and clamored to learn it. In the future, when Mrs. Weasley scolded them, the twins could use this spell to block out some of the sound and would not be scolded so badly.

There are many ways to educate children, and Mrs. Weasley could actually choose a gentler method, but Ada felt that Mrs. Weasley chose to scold them both just to vent her anger.

During lunch, first-grader Katie Bell also came over. It always pays to play with an older sister, even though the older sister is only a year or two older than her.

Ada gave Katie Bell a map of Hogwarts the night she moved in. This map covers most of the castle, and the classrooms needed for class are also highlighted, which is very convenient.

In August, Ada started making these maps. On the second day of school, the twins took these maps and started selling them to first-year students or people who were often lost. Ada was responsible for making them, and the twins were responsible for distribution. In three or four days, all the maps were sold out. Ada's original intention was to earn some pocket money, but she didn't expect the twins to have such a wide network of contacts. They even sold the maps to Slytherin.
Almost every first-year student at Hogwarts has a navigation map, which not only greatly reduces the lateness rate of various subjects, but also allows the chairman Ada, and sales directors Fred and George to make a lot of money.

Some people who didn't buy the map also placed orders with the twins, and some even said they could pay more. Ada was also very generous to these VIP customers who paid more, and she would add some things that were not in the regular version to the map.

This map was derived from the Marauder's Map. Although the map made by Ada is far from the level of the Plunderer, its users are completely different.

The live map is more convenient for monitoring the castle, allowing users to do what they want safely. The one made by Ada is a map, without any secret passages drawn on it, it is only used to plan the route and navigate.

Ada was definitely not the only one who could make maps in the school, so after the navigation map became popular, a large number of imitations appeared in the school.

Although these imitations are cheap, they are either poorly made or have inaccurate navigation, are full of various problems, and have received many negative reviews.

In this way, more people will support the original product. It turns out that no matter what you do, you have to rely on the support of your peers.

In fact, we can't blame these imitators for being useless. These people imitated the map made by Ada, and Ada imitated the plunderer. They lost from the root. There is no comparability at all. How could they possibly compete?

Ada even felt that Dumbledore should give the three of them special contribution awards to commend their glorious deeds in helping their classmates.

In the afternoon, Professor Snape "cordially greeted" every student who entered the dungeon. He stood in the shadow of the classroom, and with his unchanging black robe, he looked like an old bat.

Ada greeted him quietly when she passed by him, but it was not known whether Snape heard it.

The difficulty of the Potions class is actually very high. It seems to be just a few simple steps, but it is a completely different story when you actually make it. The order of adding materials, the measurement, the production technique, and the control of the heat are all knowledge.

Professor Snape is not the kind of person who can teach you step by step. This course requires more of your own talent, understanding and comprehension. Or a potion genius like him has never thought that learning potions requires a little bit of teaching. In his mind, such a person should not exist.

The course itself is very difficult, and there is always a chattering old bat behind you to frustrate you. Potions class combined with Snape is equal to double the pain.

For example, Patricia Stinson from Gryffindor. This poor girl was scolded by Snape many times and her mentality exploded. She added ingredients to the crucible while crying, and in the end the pot of potion turned into garbage.

When all the students entered the classroom, Snape stood on the podium. He looked around at the students below, his empty eyes showing no emotion, making it impossible for the students to guess what Snape was going to do next, whether he was going to let them go and go straight to class, or to scold them first.

"I see you again in this dungeon classroom, although there are some people I don't want to see." Snape said, "I hope your brains have not been eaten by trolls during this holiday. If I find someone with an empty head, he will not be able to step into this classroom again this semester."
