Ryan found a corner to stand after seeing the door of the broom closet closed. After all, he was not familiar with the other people in the room. Fortunately, he didn't wait for a few minutes. Just when Bagman asked everyone to sit down, Dumbledore came down from the stairs.

"Professor Dumbledore, you really are a man who knows how to have fun." Ryan thought silently as he glanced out the window.

However, Dumbledore's counterattack was of no use to someone as thick-skinned as Rita Skeeter. She said very naturally: "I just want to point out that some of your views are a bit outdated, Dumbledore. Many wizards out there -"

"I am glad to hear your frank reasoning, Rita," said Dumbledore, smiling and bowing politely, "but I am afraid we shall have to discuss this later. The Wand-Checking Ceremony is about to begin, and it will be impossible to proceed if we continue to dawdle."
