I'm really not a Sanctuary Warlock.

"I admire people with backbone."
As soon as he finished speaking, without even uttering any incantation, he simply raised his left hand casually.
A chill instantly erupted from his palm, precisely enveloping Kyle's entire right arm.
"what!"
Kyle let out a scream.
A thick layer of white frost condensed on his right arm at a speed visible to the naked eye, and the biting cold instantly penetrated his bone marrow.
The excruciating pain, as if his very soul were being frozen, caused him to curl up and his body to convulse violently and uncontrollably.
Lynn looked at him expressionlessly, and then slowly raised her right hand.
A fist-sized, orange-red fireball appeared out of thin air in his palm, radiating a scorching heat.
"I'll give you one more chance," Lynn's voice remained calm. "Who is it?"
Kyle's teeth were chattering wildly as he stared at the flickering flame, his eyes filled with terror.
Ice and fire, two completely opposite extremes of pain, made his scalp tingle just by imagining them.
But his mercenary pride, or rather, his fear of the employer behind him, made him hesitate.
Lynn gave him no more time to hesitate.
With a gentle push, the fireball slowly drifted over and landed precisely on Kyle's arm, which was already frozen solid.
"Fuck!"
An indescribable sound rang out.
The frost melted and evaporated instantly, followed by the acrid smell of burning flesh.
The sensation of extreme cold and extreme heat erupting at the same time is beyond description; it can no longer be simply described as pain.
"Ah ah ah ah ah!"
Kyle's screams became distorted and echoed endlessly in the empty underground ruins.
He collapsed to the ground, writhing and convulsing wildly, his other hand futilely trying to extinguish the flames on his arm, only adding to his pain.
"I'll talk! I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!"
Kyle finally broke down, tears streaming down his face, his voice hoarse as he wailed, "Please! Stop! Please stop!"
Lynn's gaze remained unchanged.
He seemed not to hear Kyle's pleas for mercy, but simply watched as the flames slowly burned Kyle's arm, starting from his palm, into charcoal.
"It was...it was Viscount Babbitt of the City Hall! He's the one who made us do it!"
Kyle roared with all his might, trying to exchange information for a sliver of pity.
"Please... spare me... I don't want to die..."
However, Lynn's expression remained indifferent.
He didn't seem surprised by the answer, nor did he seem to want to stop.
The flames continued to spread upwards, burning past Kyle's elbow and toward his shoulder.
Kyle's eyes were filled with despair and confusion. He couldn't understand why the other party wouldn't stop even though he had already confessed.
He looked at Lynn's young yet extremely cold face, and finally, amidst endless pain and fear, his voice grew weaker and weaker, and his body's convulsions gradually stopped.
Until the person completely fell silent, becoming a mutilated corpse that reeked of burning.
The flame then slowly died down.
In the entire underground ruins, only the burly mercenary who had remained silent and Finn, who lay limp on the ground, were left.
Lynn slowly lowered his hand and looked down at his palm.
The sadistic pleasure he had just experienced left him somewhat dazed.
He didn't know why he had done that; it wasn't like him.
but……
He pictured Nora's anxious face and the civilians shivering in the cold wind in the city of Holy Song.
These people, for the sake of money, can justifiably rob others of their life-saving food.
They even used the flesh and blood of those who died unjustly to feed the monsters.
For such scum who have lost all humanity, any mercy seems like a laughable waste.
With that thought, Lynn's discomfort quickly dissipated.
He raised his head, and his eyes regained their clarity.
At that very moment, deep within his soul, the Gothic Lolita goddess he had long forgotten lazily rolled over.
She seemed to sense something and murmured to herself in a voice only she could hear.
"Heh, interesting... As expected, something is about to awaken."
Lynn, of course, couldn't hear the whisper.
His gaze had already fallen on the last surviving, burly mercenary.
When the burly man met Lynn's gaze, he trembled violently, and then a warm liquid flowed down his trouser leg.
He was so scared that he peed himself.
"I...I don't know anything! It was all Kyle's doing! It has nothing to do with me!"
The burly man screamed in terror, stammering incoherently as he tried to distance himself from the situation.
Lynn frowned, ignored him, and turned to walk in front of Finn.
Finn was in almost the same condition as that burly man.
“Now, it’s your turn,” Lynn said softly.
"I'll tell you! I'll tell you everything!"
Finn cried out almost immediately, pointing at Kyle's unrecognizable corpse.
“It was him! It was all him! Viscount Babbitt found him, gave him a large sum of money, and made him steal all the grain being transported to Holy Song City.”
"Was this bone whistle, which can control vampires, also given to him by the Viscount?" Lynn kicked the bone whistle on the ground.
“Yes…yes!” Finn nodded vigorously. “The Viscount said that if we encounter any trouble, we should use these monsters to deal with it and leave no survivors.”
"Hehe, that makes it even more interesting."
A thoughtful glint flashed in Lynn's eyes.
Raising monsters, especially level 50 vampires, is something that no ordinary noble could accomplish.
Those pampered and cowardly noblemen had neither the means nor the courage to do so.
There must be someone else behind Viscount Babbitt.
Is it that those restless guys in the church are up to some conspiracy again? Or have cultists made a comeback?
Suppressing his suspicions, Lynn continued, "I remember there were seven carts of grain in total, why is there only one here?"
"We...we've separated!" Finn dared not hide anything and told the whole story.
"Kyle said that the target was too big and would be easily discovered. So he had the other teams hide the remaining six carts of grain in other places."
"They...they made a plan to secretly smuggle grain into the city through the four gates—east, south, west, and north—tonight, under the cover of snow!"
Lynn's eyes turned completely cold.
What a brilliant move to undermine the enemy's strength!
They not only robbed the civilians of their life-saving food, but also secretly transported it back to the city for their own enjoyment.
The greed and malice of these nobles once again refreshed his understanding.
All the questions that needed to be asked have been asked.
Lynn looked at the man in front of her who had completely broken down, without a trace of pity in her eyes.
Although he may seem to have a conscience, he is also one of the murderers.
Finn also bears some responsibility for the deaths of the guards who were devoured by the vampires.
Lynn didn't say another word, he just waved his hand casually.
A blade of wind silently swept past.
Finn's cries stopped abruptly as a head flew into the air, leaving a trail of blood before rolling to the ground.
There was still lingering fear in those eyes.
After dealing with Finn, Lynn's gaze finally fell on the burly man who was now limp as a rag doll.
Before he could beg for mercy, another wind blade struck.
The world is finally at peace.
Lynn walked up to the pile of grain sacks, confirmed that the contents were indeed grain, and then left.
He turned and walked out of the underground ruins filled with the stench of blood and decay.
……
Half an hour later, Lynn returned to the burning stronghold.
Nora was pacing anxiously back and forth in the room when she saw Lynn appear at the door and immediately went to greet him.
"So? Did you find it?"
"Found it." Lynn walked into the room, brushed the snowflakes off his clothes, and briefly explained what had happened.
When Nora heard that the food had been stolen at the behest of nobles from the city hall, and that the entire guard had been killed and their bodies used to feed monsters, her face turned ashen.
“Babbitt…that bastard.”
"Don't get angry yet," Lynn interrupted her. "I found out from the survivors that they plan to smuggle the remaining six carts of grain into the city tonight through the four city gates."
Nora's eyes lit up instantly, followed by a surge of intense killing intent.
"Good, very good! They want to bring it in, then we'll make sure they don't leave alive."
She immediately turned around, preparing to gather men, "I'll send men right away to seize the grain outside the city."
"Wait a minute," Lynn called out to her. "The other side has the means to control level 50 vampire demons. It will be very dangerous for your people to go. Be careful."
"Don't worry." Nora gave a cold smile, her eyes full of confidence.
"In the past six months, Holy Song City has attracted exiles from all over the world, including some powerful lone wolves and mercenaries. We, the Burning Flame, are no longer the rats that could only hide in the sewers."
She looked at Lynn, her tone filled with gratitude and sincerity.
"We need your strength for tonight's operation. There are four city gates in total. You can choose any one, and we will take care of the remaining three."
Lynn nodded; that was a good arrangement.
"Okay, then I'll go to the South Gate."
“Okay!” Nora didn’t delay any longer and immediately turned to leave to begin making arrangements.
The room fell silent again.
Lynn walked to the window and looked at the relentless blizzard outside.
Nobility, church, cult...
The troubles of this world seem to never end.
He sighed, hoping that tonight's operation would go smoothly.
He couldn't wait to get back to Anna and Lisa and continue his lazy, carefree life of eating, sleeping, and spending time with beautiful women.
……
Night falls.
The wind and snow intensified, and large, fluffy snowflakes blanketed the sky, turning the entire world a pale white.
This was the perfect night for murder and robbery.
