I'm really not a Sanctuary Warlock.

Anger was slowly burning in Lynn's chest.
He originally only wanted to live a peaceful life, spending his time with Anna and Lisa in a decadent and carefree existence, keeping his distance from the conflicts of the world.
But reality has repeatedly shown him that as long as he still cares about certain people, he can never truly remain uninvolved.
He no longer concealed himself, but slowly walked out of the dark passage and into the area illuminated by the campfire.
"You seemed to be having a good chat."
His calm voice rang out in the empty underground ruins, sounding particularly abrupt.
The three mercenaries by the campfire froze, almost instantly springing to their feet and gripping their weapons warily.
"Who?"
Kyle shouted sharply, his eyes fixed on the uninvited guest who emerged from the shadows.
He was a young-looking man dressed in ordinary travel clothes, without armor or any threatening-looking weapons.
This composure, so out of place with its surroundings, made Kyle feel a sudden tightness in his chest.
"It seems you've never been to Holy Song City and don't recognize me." Lynn's gaze swept over the three mercenaries, finally settling on the piles of grain sacks.
Kyle squinted, scrutinizing Lynn closely, but she still felt completely unfamiliar with him.
"I don't care who you are?" He held the dagger to his chest, his tone icy. "Kid, don't wander into places you shouldn't be. Some things you might see could kill you."
Finn, pale-faced, instinctively tugged at Kyle's sleeve and whispered, "Brother, he... he might be from the city..."
"So what if they're from the city?" Kyle impatiently shook off his hand. "What can a kid who hasn't even grown his first beard do?"
Lynn seemed not to hear their conversation. He walked straight to a grain sack and patted it.
"I'll give you a chance."
He turned around and looked at Kyle again, the smile on his face fading.
“Tell me who ordered you to do this. Also, I remember there were seven carts of grain in total, why is there only one cart left here?”
Upon hearing this, Kyle's pupils contracted sharply.
The other side not only knew that their target was grain, but they even knew the exact quantity!
Now he was finally certain that the young man in front of him was definitely not some random passerby who had wandered in by mistake.
But having spent so long living a life of danger and bloodshed, he had developed a ruthless personality, never acting without a clear objective.
"Hmph, you want to know? Go ask Yama, the King of Hell, in hell!"
A fierce glint flashed in Kyle's eyes. Without another word, he suddenly pulled a strange bone whistle from his pocket, put it to his lips, and blew it with all his might.
"Waaah!"
A sharp, piercing whistle instantly resounded throughout the entire underground space.
"Roar!"
The gray-green monsters that had been gnawing on the corpses in the cage suddenly raised their heads and stared at Lynn with their scarlet eyes after hearing the whistle, as if they had received some kind of command.
They roared wildly and slammed their massive bodies against the bars of the iron cage!
"Clang! Clang!"
The cage doors, made of refined iron, began to twist and deform under their terrifying force.
"Go! Tear him to pieces!" Kyle ordered with a sneer.
Lynn raised an eyebrow slightly as he looked at the ferocious monsters.
He glanced at it with his appraisal technique.
Vampire Demon
[Level: 50]
[Status: Hungry, Berserk]
Lynn's gaze then turned to the mercenaries who were only level 20 or 30.
"Oh? That's interesting."
He muttered to himself, "A bunch of level 20 or 30 trash can actually control a level 50 vampire demon with a whistle. It seems the person behind you is really not simple."
Before he could finish speaking, accompanied by a piercing sound of metal breaking, the iron cage door was finally smashed open by the vampires.
"Roar!"
Four ogres, each over three meters tall, charged toward Lynn with heavy steps.
The ground trembled slightly under their trampling, and their unstoppable, ferocious momentum was enough to terrify any experienced warrior.
Kyle's smile grew increasingly sinister, as if he could already see Lynn being torn to pieces.
Finn was so frightened that he closed his eyes, unable to bear watching any longer.
However, Lynn didn't even flinch at the terrifying charge that could crush steel.
Just as the first vampire's gleaming claws were about to touch him...
Lynn slowly raised his right hand and casually waved it in front of him.
"Wind Blade".
"Fireball."
There was no chanting, no magic circle, and not even any sign of magical fluctuations.
next second.
Dozens of thin, cicada-wing-like cyan wind blades appeared out of thin air, instantly enveloping the two vampire demons charging at the forefront.
The two monsters' massive bodies, propelled by their charge, crashed directly into the wind blade net, and then... like tofu hitting a cutting machine, they were instantly broken into hundreds of uniformly sized pieces of meat.
Blood mixed with fragments of internal organs rained down from the sky.
The other two vampires following closely behind had no time to react to their companion's tragic fate before they were struck head-on by more than a dozen blazing fireballs the size of human heads.
Boom! Boom!
The violent explosion echoed in the enclosed underground space, making people's eardrums ache.
The raging flames instantly engulfed them, and the terrifying heat even scorched the surrounding rock walls black.
In just two or three seconds, the two arrogant vampire demons were burned into two charred pieces in the flames, and then shattered into ashes.
It only took a few seconds.
All four level 50 vampire demons were wiped out.
A strong, acrid smell of burning and blood filled the air.
Kyle's sneer froze completely; his mouth hung open, his face filled with disbelief.
The burly mercenary, who had remained silent, was now gripping his battle axe with a hand that was trembling uncontrollably.
Finn's legs buckled, and he collapsed to the ground.
Instant kill...
Those are four level 50 vampire demons!
Even a regular knight squad would have to pay a heavy price to barely deal with this terrifying monster.
But in front of this young man, they couldn't even make him take a step back.
This is no ordinary young man; he's clearly an unfathomable and terrifying mage.
"run!"
Kyle had only one word left in his mind; the instinct for survival overwhelmed everything.
He suddenly pulled a black cloth bag from his waist and slammed it to the ground!
"Oh!"
A thick cloud of black smoke exploded instantly, quickly enveloping an area of several meters in radius, completely blocking Lynn's vision.
"go!"
Kyle let out a roar, grabbed the burly man who was frozen in terror, and charged back towards the rock wall they had come from without looking back.
Finn, who was lying on the ground, was simply abandoned by him.
Through the smoke, Lynn's lips curled into a mocking smile.
"Huh? Trying to run away?"
"It seems that the person behind you went to great lengths to prevent you from leaving any evidence, even preparing such an expensive alchemical smoke bomb."
His voice reached Kyle and the burly man's ears, sending a chill down their spines.
The two dared not linger for a moment, and rushed with all their might to the smooth rock face.
Kyle pulled a scroll that shimmered with silver light from his pocket and crushed it.
hum.
Intense spatial ripples spread outwards.
On the rock wall in front of them, a portal shimmering with a blue halo rapidly took shape.
They can escape by going through this door.
A look of ecstatic relief, as if he had just escaped death, appeared on Kyle's face.
"Perfect timing. I recently learned a new earth magic spell from Eve, but I haven't tried it out yet."
A long, drawn-out voice, like the pronouncement of death, rang out behind them.
Before Kyle and the burly man could react, they felt a violent tremor coming from the ground beneath their feet!
"Earth Imprisonment!"
Rumble!
The entire underground ruins began to shake violently. To the horror of Kyle and the burly man, the rocky ground beneath their feet seemed to come alive, twisting and bulging wildly!
Thick, massive stone spikes burst forth from the ground, instantly transforming the surrounding area into a forest of sharp, jagged stones.
What made them even more desperate was that the ground beneath the newly formed portal suddenly collapsed and tore apart.
The spatial energy that constitutes the portal, having lost its stable base, began to flicker and distort violently.
"No!" Kyle screamed.
The next second, the portal that represented their only way out vanished into thin air like a burst bubble.
The thick smoke dissipated.
Lynn walked out slowly, looking at the two mercenaries trapped in the stone forest, their faces filled with despair.
"Now, we can have a proper talk."
Chapter 167 Viscount Babbitt
In the stone forest, despair was written all over the faces of Kyle and the burly mercenary.
The portal that represented their only way out had completely vanished into thin air.
They were trapped in place by towering, eerie stone spikes that resembled a cage.
Kyle's body trembled violently.
"Who...who are you?"
Lynn didn't answer, but walked up to Finn, who had been kicked down by Kyle and was still limp on the ground.
He glanced down at the man who was terrified and had wet himself, before turning his gaze back to Kyle.
"Who sent you?" Lynn asked, as if it were a casual question.
A struggle flashed in Kyle's eyes, but his long-standing ferocity, born from living on the edge, kept him from collapsing immediately.
He gritted his teeth and forced out a sentence: "Ha... I have professional ethics, I won't tell you..."
"Really?" Lynn's lips curled up slightly.
