"Let's send them some vegetables once the seeds sprout; there weren't any greens on the table just now," said Eriri Sawamura, unwrapping a candy.
“I have some pickled cucumbers.” Nomiyama held out his hand, gesturing for her to take one.
"Pickled cucumbers can't compare to fresh cucumbers." Eriri Sawamura handed him one, and then handed Yukino Asahi, who had already opened the package.
Yukino Yukinoshita tied her hair up, took a bite of the candy, and said thoughtfully, "Then let's induce labor. Let's induce labor for some seeds when we get back."
Eriri Sawamura opened her mouth, but she always felt that this would take away the joy of growing vegetables.
It's like switching from fishing with a net to fishing with a fish.
"Either is fine, but give me the fishing rod first."
Nomiyama looked at the lake and reached out his hand.
They are now not far outside the valley, about a few miles away. The lake is not affected by the underground heating in the valley and is still frozen.
Seeing his interest, Yukino sighed, reached out, and a fishing rod appeared.
Nomiyama took the fishing rod and ran towards the lake.
"Can he catch it?" Eriri Sawamura asked, her mouth full of candy, her words muffled.
"Yes, poisonous fish." Yukino Yukinoshita said with certainty.
"Aren't there any other options?" Eriri Sawamura asked, somewhat curious.
“Yes, there are fish that can make people aroused, and fish that can cause hallucinations, but the chances are relatively small.” Yukino Yukinoshita watched him start chiseling ice with his bare hands and added, “That kind of toxin is specially designed for him right now. He has no vital energy, so it can’t be removed.”
"Yukino, when he can't move later, will the chance of getting a Palkia increase dramatically?" Eriri Sawamura thought of something that interested her.
“It’s meaningless.” Yukino Yukinoshita took out the ball, looked at it for a moment, and then put it away. She continued to look at the person in the distance, her voice softer, “Now the Palu Ball has lost its meaning.”
Eriri Sawamura glanced at her and held out her hand: "Then give it to me."
Yukino Yukinoshita didn't say anything and silently walked forward.
Eriri Sawamura pouted and followed.
By the time the two men reached his side, he was already holding a knife, staring blankly at the sky.
Eriri Sawamura glanced at the carcass of the rainbow pufferfish, a grin spreading across her face. She leaned down to look at him and said, "You've been poisoned for so many years, how come you still can't resist eating it?"
Nomiyama glanced at her and said, "Some things are just unavoidable, and I like them very much."
Yukino Yukinoshita reached out and recalled the fishing rod, then levitated it and turned to walk towards the valley: "Your senior probably prepared fish that are thousands or tens of thousands of years old for you. You'll have plenty to eat."
Nomiyama floated down, opened her mouth and bit into the candy Eriri handed her, mumbling, "Yukinoshita, when you went out this morning, did you put salt in the venison?"
Are you hungry?
"Ah."
"Are you a pig? You eat and lie down, then wake up and eat again." Eriri Sawamura tugged at his cheek.
"I didn't eat enough earlier. Grandma Sasha only cooked enough rice for five people, but the smoked pork tasted pretty good. I think I might try it sometime." Nomiyama said thoughtfully.
Yukino glanced at him, who seemed normal, then at Eriri, who seemed normal as well, and silently led them back to the valley.
She walked towards the field and casually placed him on a long wooden bench.
Reaching out, she sensed the seeds underground and silently gave them life.
Eriri Sawamura glanced at Yukino, who was leaving quietly, then looked away and sat quietly next to him.
Nomiyama's gaze moved, lingering on Eriri's face. After a moment, he reached out and touched her head.
"Eri, tie your hair in pigtails, just like before."
Eriri Sawamura looked at him for a while, and finally nodded.
"Ah."
......
"Eri seems to be getting more and more reluctant to get out of bed."
Yukino Yukinoshita stood beside him, holding a book.
"That's good, anyway, she used to be a lazybones." Nomiyama grabbed a piece of jerky and tore it off with his teeth.
"She's getting more and more clingy. Did you say something to her?" Yukino Yukinoshita asked him.
Nomiyama swallowed the meat: "I like the Eriri who didn't have many thoughts before."
He bent down and picked up the fruits and vegetables at his feet: "Eri is silly, we can figure things out ourselves so she doesn't make a mistake."
Yukino Yukinoshita was quiet for a moment, then nodded: "Yes, Eriri should think less about it."
"Yukino!"
Eriri Sawamura pushed open the door and lunged at the person in front of her.
"Eri, it'll be hot." Yukino Yukinoshita held the book in both hands, unable to push her away, so she helplessly turned her head away to avoid being rubbed.
"Hehe." Eriri Sawamura tugged at her winter hat.
Nomiyama looked at the white winter hat and said helplessly, "You're not afraid of the cold at all, why are you wearing this hat?"
“Grandma Sasha made this for me, you don’t have one yet.” Eriri Sawamura kicked him.
"Yes, yes, I know you're likable." Nomiyama said casually, glancing at Yukinoshita who was holding a book.
"Okay, let's go." Yukino Yukinoshita led the two to an open space a few hundred meters away from the manor.
Looking at the manor over there, Nomiyama couldn't help but exclaim, "How convenient! If this were used for magic tricks, you would definitely be the most outstanding and unbreakable magician of the new era."
“A Muggle is a Muggle. If you can be a magician, why do you need to be a sorcerer?” Yukino Yukinoshita mocked him and walked forward.
Eriri Sawamura followed and took her hand: "Yukino, how about I ask Grandma Sasha to make you a hat too?"
"No, that would be too much trouble for Grandma Sasha. You can wear it yourself. We already trouble them a lot."
"Oh fine."
Nomiyama followed behind them without saying a word.
Grandma Sasha, with her full head of silver hair, really liked Eriri. She often said that Eriri's blonde hair looked like her own granddaughter's.
Seeing that the two of them were about to reach the door, Nomiyama stopped thinking about it.
It was Ivan, the same old man who tried to straighten his back to make himself look younger, who opened the door for them.
But this time it was clearly unusual.
For example, in front of the huge fireplace, the long dining table was filled with teacups and even some sliced cakes.
"Grandpa Ivan, we have a guest!"
Eriri Sawamura heard the noise from the second floor and asked in a low voice.
"Well, I guess I won't be able to entertain you today," Ivan said with a smile.
Nomiyama shifted his gaze to the teacup on the dining table.
Yes, there are quite a few people, probably around ten.
"It's alright, I feel a little bad for making you run around all this time." Nomiyama handed over the fruits and vegetables in his hand. "These are the freshest ones, you and Grandma Sasha should eat more of them. Those potatoes and pickled cucumbers can't compare to fresh produce."
"Great, thanks to you guys, otherwise Sasha and I really wouldn't be able to eat this every day." Ivan smiled and accepted the food, not caring why the three of them could always bring him this kind of food that shouldn't exist in Siberia.
Yukino Yukinoshita placed the book she was holding on a chair beside her, reached out and pulled Eriri over, smiling, "Then, Grandpa Ivan, we'll head back now."
"Yes, be careful on your journey." Ivan nodded.
"Wait a minute." He seemed to remember something, quickened his pace, and went to the kitchen.
Nomiyama ignored them, took a few steps, walked to the dining table, picked up the teapot, poured some tea into himself from a distance, and drank it down in one go.
Mmm, it tastes good.
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at him and sighed.
Nomiyama noticed her expression but didn't take it to heart. He put down the teapot and walked over.
A moment later, Ivan brought out a large piece of cake.
He handed it to Eriri, his voice hoarse but still gentle: "This was brought by a guest; you can take it back and eat it."
"Hehe, thank you, Grandpa." Eriri Sawamura took the cake and smiled.
"Hehe." Ivan smiled, his eyes narrowed, his face full of kindness.
The three walked out of the manor.
Eriri Sawamura took a fork and poked at the cake, breaking off a piece and putting it in her mouth.
Nomiyama silently looked at his snow boots, lost in thought.
Then at some point, he opened his mouth and bit into the cake that Eriri had given him.
Then he continued to stare blankly.
Eriri Sawamura glanced at him, moved closer to Yukino, handed her a piece of cake, and asked, "What are you having for dinner?"
"Bok choy, then bear meat, and a little bit of the canned beef that Grandpa Ivan gave me." Yukino Yukinoshita opened her mouth and took a bite of the cake, then turned to look at him and frowned.
He wasn't thinking about people or things he was familiar with, otherwise he wouldn't have such a blank expression.
Eriri Sawamura lowered her head and continued inserting the cake.
"And canned beef too."
......
"I always feel that stewed bear meat isn't as good as venison. Maybe I'll grill it for you guys next time," Nomiyama said, rubbing his belly. "At least what I grill tastes like chicken."
Yukino pushed the plate of vegetables toward Eriri, ignoring him, and said to the person who was chewing meat, "Don't just eat canned beef. If you want a balanced diet, you need to eat vegetables too."
"Mmm." Eriri Sawamura swallowed the meat, picked up a few green vegetables and put them in her bowl. "I'll eat, I'll eat."
Taking care of your daughter?
Nomiyama looked at them strangely, said nothing, and just rubbed his stomach as he watched.
The dining table was set up in his room, mainly because his room was large, since the two girls' rooms were separate on the other side.
He waited in a daze until Eriri finished eating, then dashed back to his room.
Seeing Yukino follow him, he began to clear the table.
Next, the two of them will go to a hot spring.
Then you can't leave the cabin at this time, otherwise they will think you are spying.
Really, you underestimated him. Actually, you can peep into the cabin; there's a gap in the upper part of his room.
He just felt that spying was inappropriate for a boyfriend and was too lazy to do it.
My boyfriend.
Nomiyama paused in his scrubbing of the pot, his brows furrowing in a frown. After a moment, he continued scrubbing.
After finishing washing the pots and pans, he subconsciously walked out of the room, came to the high point of the valley, and sat on a wooden stool in a daze.
Yukino Yukinoshita turned her head, glanced at him, then ignored him, quietly leaning back and looking at the white mist above the valley.
Eriri Sawamura glanced over there, moved the towel covering her chest away, and put it back on her head, saying with disdain, "We're here, and he's just standing there daydreaming. He's so pathetic."
Yukino Yukinoshita sighed, "You're always so loud and insistent on not peeping, but in the end you seem to want him to see everything?"
Eriri Sawamura sank into the water, leaving only her big eyes showing.
Yukino Yukinoshita watched her bubbling and reached out to rub her head.
Eriri Sawamura held her breath for a while before resurfacing. She turned her head away and said, "It's just a matter of time anyway."
Yukino Yukinoshita simply gently rubbed her head.
......
Nomiyama opened his eyes, turned his head, and looked at the person standing beside his bed.
She was wearing a pale yellow nightgown, her blonde hair was loose and flowing, and her deep blue eyes were still clear in the darkness.
Nomiyama's eyes flickered slightly, but he remained silent, waiting for her to speak.
"The wind blows early."
