Yukinoshita Miyami didn't look at his phone screen, but simply asked, "What's wrong, Kazehaya?"
Nomiyama scrolled through the message history, looked at those pictures, and was somewhat puzzled: "The shrine we visited before collapsed after we left."
"It collapsed?" Yukinoshita Miyami gaped in disbelief.
That shrine was actually part of her family's property...
If it collapses, the family will have to spend money on repairs, since shrines can make a lot of money.
Yukinoshita Miyabi's heart suddenly started racing. She thought of something, and a few beads of sweat appeared on her forehead without her noticing.
Ren tried hard to control her voice and appear natural as she asked, "How did Kazehaya know about this? Was it on the news?"
"Ah, no, it's just that I had a few friends over there and we happened to run into each other." Nomiyama continued scrolling through his phone, looking at messages from his four girlfriends.
"I see." Yukinoshita Miyami's eyes were fixed on his actions.
Nomiyama shifted his gaze to her, frowning.
He reached out, pulled out a pack of tissues, took one out and wiped her face, his voice tinged with concern: "Your face is a little pale, and you're sweating. Are you sick?"
As he spoke, he put down the tissue, pressed his forehead against hers, and continued to frown.
It doesn't look like she's sick.
Seeing the worry in his eyes, so close to hers, Yukinoshita Miyabi suddenly felt at ease.
If what you want is right in front of you, then just focus on what's in front of you.
She tilted her head back, kissed that forehead, then pulled back, burying her head in the polar bear.
"I deliberately coaxed Feng Zao to come closer."
Nomiyama paused for a moment, then put away his phone, picked her up, and held her in his arms.
"boring."
"Not boring."
"boring."
"Not boring."
"Fine, if it's not boring, then it's not boring."
Nomiyama rested his head on her shoulder.
......
"It's been a long time since I've been to this supermarket."
Nomiyama glanced at her, who was hugging a doll and sighing, and finally felt the sense of disharmony. It was indeed a bit strange for a noblewoman in a kimono to be hugging a teddy bear.
He glanced at the vegetable section and nodded: "After all, you haven't even gone out to buy groceries this year; I've been the one doing all the buying."
Yukinoshita Miyabi's voice was softer: "I... I paid."
Nomiyama's eyelid twitched. It wasn't about the money anymore; it was about receiving a bank card with tons of zeros...
He rubbed his temples and said, "I know, I'm being kept by Miss Gong Yu."
"How can you call it being kept? That's such an offensive term." Yukinoshita Miyabi glared at him. "I'm the one working hard to support my husband who's still studying."
Nomiyama covered his face, feeling that this way of speaking was even more unpleasant.
"Hehe, anyway, my money is Kazehaya's money. Besides, if Kazehaya really wants money, he can just rob a bank. I'm just preventing Kazehaya from committing crimes," Yukinoshita Miyami said confidently.
"I won't rob a bank. If I had to say, I'd still advocate working to earn money, that's the right thing to do." Nomiyama pondered, tossing an eggplant into the cart as he did so.
"Nonsense." Yukinoshita Miyami's voice was softer as she turned her head away. "Instead of working, Kazehaya would definitely be squatting near Tokyo Bay, waiting for those yakuza to come, then beating them up and taking their money."
Huh? Nomiyama looked at her.
How did you guess that?
Yukinoshita Miyami walked towards the meat section: "Kazehaya himself said the other day that he often goes to Tokyo Bay to watch people pour water for their plants, and then gives them some pocket money."
Nomiyama thought back on it and realized that it really was true.
Ever since watching a pile-pouring performance with Xiaobaihe, he has enjoyed going there late at night to watch shows.
Well, it's definitely not for that little bit of pocket money. I have plenty of wealthy girlfriends, so I'm not short of money at all.
Yukinoshita Miyazaki looked at the meat and waited for him to come over before saying softly, "It's okay if Kazehaya spends my money. There's no need to lower yourself to play with those hooligans."
"Let's wait until after we get married. We'll get a marriage certificate with both your and my names on it, so I'll feel more confident spending your money." Nomiyama leaned closer to examine the texture of the meat.
"Oh, I heard you're early." Yukinoshita Miyami stood beside him, quietly waiting for him to choose the beef. After a while, she said, "Um, when are we going to pick it up?"
“Eighteen years old, eighteen years old. According to Japanese law, you have to be eighteen to get a marriage certificate. Around this time last year.” Nomiyama glanced at her and turned to walk towards the seafood section.
“Yes, after this year, Feng will be seventeen by now,” Yukinoshita Miyabi chimed in.
Of course she knew that you could only get married at eighteen, but she just wanted to be sure, even more sure, of his statement that they would get married at eighteen.
After walking a few steps, she looked at the seafood section and was somewhat surprised: "Xiao Hui's father isn't here."
Nomiyama glanced at the unfamiliar fish-killing uncle, not paying much attention: "Hui said she was on holiday and would come back to work after the New Year. This one is a temporary worker."
Yukinoshita Miyami quickly found a topic: "Actually, temporary workers are paid more than permanent workers."
Nomiyama glanced back at her: "You wicked capitalist."
Yukinoshita Miyazaki confidently declared, "Mine belongs to Kazehaya, and Kazehaya is also a wicked capitalist."
......
On New Year's Day, Nomiyama finally didn't spend the night on the other side of the road.
He chopped all the side dishes and then waited quietly for the other person to come over.
Yes, Gong Yu will come, because she can't let herself spend the New Year alone.
The lock was turned and the door was pushed open.
"I am back."
Welcome home.
On a rare winter night without snow, Nomiyama Kaze was waiting for someone to come home for the first time.

Chapter 255 The Three of the Yukinoshita Family
While eating the Osechi (ritual meal), Kato Megumi suddenly thought of something that happened many years ago.
It's said to have been many years, but now that I think about it, it's actually been less than four years.
I was in my first year of junior high school then, and the first semester had just begun. That day, it was dinner again, and there was fish on the table again.
My father suddenly noticed something about me that he would never normally notice, and he also suddenly asked me about my situation at school.
It seemed that after many years, he finally remembered that he had a little daughter and wanted to express his fatherly love and care.
Kato Megumi was somewhat surprised, but only surprised that her father had suddenly discovered her, nothing more.
As for the care her father showed, Kato Megumi was not surprised.
She knew from a very young age that her family wasn't wealthy, and that her parents were both very busy with work. Her father would take on a part-time job after finishing his supermarket job, and her mother was a little better off, but only a little better off, often not getting home until late at night to cook for her sisters.
But Dad never got any of those dinners, because he would eat the cold lunchbox he brought out in the morning.
They should be sensible by now, learn to do housework early, learn to cook early, and take good care of themselves early.
My parents' love has always been there because they are working so hard that they never show any signs of fatigue at home.
The year I was finally able to take care of myself and help ease the burden on my family, the family's financial pressure finally eased.
Dad no longer has to work part-time after get off work, and Mom can finally come home earlier to cook.
However, by then, I was mainly responsible for preparing dinner at home, because my sister was completely clueless about daily life.
That day, Dad asked how things were going at school.
Kato Megumi felt she was doing well; although she had no friends, she was able to enjoy herself.
The only problem is probably the grades.
The sisters often seem to have different talents; the older sister is cheerful and academically excellent, but her life skills are a mess.
She prefers quiet and her grades are average, but she is good at housework and cooking.
And so, fate left its mark on the dinner table that night.
The father's usual kindness brought him some kind people, among whom was a little boy who liked to eat fish.
The quiet, ordinary life remained unchanged, except for the appearance of exam papers that had been corrected.
His handwriting was not neat at all, but rather random and messy, yet it possessed a unique beauty. And yet, it was still a character; just like him.
Perhaps it was fate's design, but in the second year of being pen pals, we broke through the limitations of pen and paper, becoming classmates sitting next to each other, and then friends who could share lunches.
It was only then that I realized that behind his huge scandals was just a handsome boy who would squint his eyes and show a satisfied expression when eating delicious food.
Then, after we got to know each other to a certain extent, I went to his house and chose to become closer friends.
Until the very end, at the end of that year, on a night similar to today, I secretly braved the wind and snow to go to his house, and in the New Year, I overcame his final hesitation.
It's been a long time.
Kato Megumi took a bite of a piece of fish, thinking to herself.
As she chewed, she frowned slightly; the fish was a little overcooked.
The dishes prepared by my mother during holidays and festivals are usually delicious, and such accidents are rare.
"Hey, Xiaohui, is it good?" Dad's voice came from behind.
Kato Megumi looked up at the somewhat uneasy man in the main seat, then glanced down at the slightly burnt fish, and understood.
"It's burnt, Dad."
Hearing his youngest daughter's words, Kato Riku felt a little embarrassed; he knew he hadn't done a good job...
"But I really like it. Dad, just try harder next time."
Hearing this, he glanced again at the gentle curve of his youngest daughter's lips.
Kato Riku patted his chest, his eyes and tone filled with unwavering determination: "Since Megumi has said so, then we have no choice but to do our best."
"Okay, try your best next time." Kato Tsuki placed some fish from his bowl on his plate. "I won't eat any this time."
"Dad, do your best next time." Hiromi Kato also picked out the slightly burnt fish and put it into his bowl.
Kato Riku bent over again, his straight back bent, and faced his food with a pained expression.
Glancing over there, Kato Megumi hesitated; actually, she herself was also finding it hard to eat...
In silence, she finally picked up a piece of fish, unable to do it as naturally as her mother and sister, and decided not to force herself.
"Xiao Hui, your dad's back has been a bit sore lately," Kato Tsuki said casually, picking up a piece of food.
Kato Megumi paused slightly, looked at her smiling mother, and softly replied, "I see."
She looked towards the side where Dad was diligently eating and said, "Dad, take good care of yourself."
"Mmm," Kato Riku replied in a muffled voice, his head bowed.
"Hehe, I want to go shopping with Megumi, but I won't carry the bag." Hiromi Kato tugged at her sister's hand.
"Okay." Kato Megumi's eyes softened even more.
"If you're going shopping, remember to bring me some cosmetics, from the store on the corner of xx street," Kato Tsuki naturally interjected, joining in on her daughters' conversation.
"Okay," Kato Megumi replied softly.
After dinner, the breadwinner went to the kitchen to wash the dishes, while the other two watched the Red and White Song Festival on TV.
Kato Megumi said she should get some rest before going into the house and returning to her room.
