Stupid Odin

#247 - Battle between two worlds

As for the gods within the Aesir, they were equally overjoyed and awaiting the arrival of the divine war.

Despite the fact that the positions of the old gods had remained unchanged, and they even had to distribute some minor positions to their followers, their total divine power上限 had increased dramatically due to the expansion of the world. They knew this better than anyone.

On the other hand, when Downs conquered a pantheon, he mercilessly eliminated the troublemakers. Although the remaining surrendered gods often had their positions stripped away, their divine power上限 actually increased.

As the saying goes, when the cake gets bigger, everyone gets a bigger slice.

The only trick was: Downs firmly controlled the natural domains, only giving them to his own gods, and forcing the surrendered gods to play with faith-based apotheosis. These positions were deeply tied to mortals, determining their success or failure.

Who in the world understands the needs of humans better than Downs, the transmigrator who was originally human?

By firmly controlling the power of mortals, he essentially forced these surrendered gods onto the Aesir's war chariot. Even if they wanted to run, they had nowhere to go.

This dual integration capability of the divine and mortal realms absolutely crushed the Aztec pantheon.

Downs' gaze crossed fifty thousand kilometers, landing on that considerably large, unfamiliar world. A smile crept onto his lips.

"Come on! I can hardly wait."

Looking down from the top of the celestial sphere, it's easy to see that both worlds are starting to act:

The Jötunheimr world, proceeding along its original trajectory, was surprised by the approach of the Aztec world and began to slowly turn, attempting to withstand the approaching Aztec world with the position that could best withstand the impact.

The Aztec world, 'accidentally' discovering Jötunheimr, was equally delighted to find its prey and began to accelerate, seemingly wanting to chase the original end of the world.

The two incredibly massive worlds began their turning and chasing.

Downs didn't know that in the center of the Aztec world he was watching, a magnificent pyramid was floating in mid-air.

This enormous temple, covering more than 10 square kilometers, existed in the mortal realm and was also isolated from it by a spatial barrier.

As a result, the sacrificial pyramid built by mortals below the temple was actually quite large, but in comparison, it felt like a small model.

In the sky temple, the gods argued so fiercely that the divine power ripples emanating from their speech caused the intricate and slightly abstract gold artifacts in the hall to ripple with circles of magical divine light.

The hall was surrounded by golden bas-reliefs full of primitive worship of natural forces.

These gods, worshiped by mortals, were arguing incessantly in the hall.

A large crystal skull, the size of a water vat, projected two dazzling beams of light from its eye sockets, forming a clear three-dimensional projection.

What it reflected was none other than the Jötunheimr and Aztec worlds.

The wise god Skell saw Jötunheimr turning and immediately stepped forward, saying to Komu-Kamen-Pus, the king of gods: "Great King of All Gods! They have discovered us and have begun a foolish response, attempting to turn around and face us. We should accelerate and crash into them, cutting them in half."

Before he could finish speaking, the tall, five-meter-high god of wrath, [Lao], immediately retorted:

"Foolish Skell, you know nothing about the Aesir. The middle of that Jötunheimr world is three insignificant small worlds. Attacking in the middle will not only fail to destroy Asgard's control over other worlds but will also allow them to launch attacks from both flanks, putting us in a predicament of being attacked from both sides."

The wise god Skell was temporarily speechless.

He couldn't understand why his old rival [Lao] had become so much smarter since his resurrection. He felt like he was the god of wrath, and [Lao] was the wise god.

The god-king Komu glanced at his two capable assistants and sighed in his heart.

After his resurrection, his temperament changed drastically. Not only did he reconcile with his rival, but he also offered one plan after another, using a series of strategies to bring the Aztec gods of the neighboring world under his command and use them as a vanguard to conquer other worlds.

Even more ingenious was that, although the core of this world was the Mayan world, it was wearing the skin of the Aztec world.

In any case, the bad reputation was borne by the Aztec Quetzalcoatl and his kin, while the Mayan gods, as allies in name, actually controlled everything outside.

The Mayan world was now like the brain of this great world, controlling the overall situation, while the Aztec world outside was merely a pawn.

If this kind of operation were put twenty years ago, Komu would never have believed that a reckless man like [Lao] could have done it.

Since [Lao] had revealed information about the Aesir, and Skell knew nothing about the enemy, Komu could only ask: "Lao, what good advice do you have?"

The giant god raised his head, his eyes flashing with intense divine light of wrath.

"We must attack the tail of the Jötunheimr world as soon as possible. That is where the divine realm Asgard is located. In such a short time, their god-king will not be able to move Asgard. Even if he moves it, he can't move the Light Country Alfheim. That is where the sun god is located. It can't be moved, and it shouldn't be moved. But we must be careful, attacking their center; the resistance of the Aesir will definitely be fierce."

Lao's performance surprised Komu a little, but considering that he was originally the god of wrath, Komu felt it was reasonable. He glanced at the wise god Skell.

Skell helplessly said: "I have foreseen that there is indeed a world center in that location."

Komu had no choice but to listen to [Lao]'s advice again: "Alright! Let Quetzalcoatl lead his subordinates to attack the tail of the Jötunheimr world. Let the slave pantheon attack the middle of Jötunheimr. We will wait and see."

What happened next probably confirmed the words of the god of wrath, Lao.

The Jötunheimr world did show the intention of hiding its tail center. It tried its best to turn around rapidly.

In the astral vision, Jötunheimr now looks like a standard [8] shape.

Large at both ends and small in the middle.

When the Aztec (Maya) world rushes over, it feels like it can really grab the other side's vital point.

Closer!

Even closer!

Just as they were about to celebrate, a sudden change occurred.

What they thought was a weakness suddenly grew countless slender and thick roots…
