Harry took half a day off, called Sirius along, and took the three of them to Diagon Alley.

It's the beginning of the school year again, and Diagon Alley is bustling with people, including Muggles in normal clothes and wizards in robes of various colors.

Lin Ling is now in the sixth year of Slytherin, James is in the third year of Gryffindor, and Ryan is a first year.

Many new shops have opened in Diagon Alley over the years, but the shopping process for several people remains the same.

Harry, Sirius and a few others went to Flourish and Blotts to buy new textbooks, and then went to Madam Malkin's robe shop to buy school uniforms and formal robes.

"Go shopping on your own, but don't spend all your money at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes," Harry said to James.

"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on him," Sirius said.

Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is a shop opened by the Weasley twins with the support of Harry. It is also the favorite shop of naughty children and is always crowded with little wizards at the beginning of each school season.

Lin Ling also went shopping on her own.

Harry takes Ryan to Ollivanders to buy a wand.

"Hey Harry." Ron greeted him warmly, "I passed my Muggle driving test, but Hermione still doesn't have confidence in me? She thinks I used a Confounding Charm on the examiner."

Harry smiled at the bickering between the two and helped James load the luggage into the car first.

When he came back, Hugo was discussing with Ryan which branch he would be assigned to.

Ron said, "If you don't get into Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you. But don't pressure me."

Lin Ling also heard this. She leaned her head out of the carriage and said, "If Ryan is admitted to Slytherin, you will have the right to inherit Cavendish. I said so."

Hugo and Ryan laughed.

"Come on, there's still a seat here. Do you want to share a box with your aunt?" Lin Ling said.

"Go ahead." Harry looked at Ryan with encouragement and helped him carry his luggage into the car.

Then Harry kissed him and said goodbye. "Be good at school and ask your aunt if you have any questions."

Ryan nodded and boarded the train.

"Oh, I'm the only one left." Hugo said a little depressed.

"You're almost there, don't worry," said Hermione.

The train roared and slowly drove out of the station.

"I have to go. I have a meeting with the Prime Minister this afternoon and I have to get ready. Goodbye Harry." Hermione suddenly thought.

"Okay, see you at work tomorrow Harry. By the way, come to my house for dinner in a couple of days and invite Upala and Sirius." Ron said before leaving.

Harry agreed, "Okay."

"Well, bye."

"Goodbye." Harry said goodbye to the two of them. He was standing alone on the platform at this time and suddenly felt a little lonely.

The Hogwarts Express stops at Hogsmeade station.

Under the night sky, the freshmen took a boat ride to see Hogwarts for the first time.

They will spend the next seven years here, where they will make friends, meet their love, and perhaps have quarrels and conflicts, but the time at Hogwarts will become a highlight of their youth.

Ryan followed this year's freshmen to the front hall under the guidance of Hagrid. Students from other grades were already sitting in the auditorium.

A dark figure stood on the highest step in the lobby.

Ryan heard whispers in the room. Because everyone was too nervous, no one spoke. The room was so quiet that even whispers seemed so obvious.

"That professor is so scary, so dark, like a bat."

"yes……"

Ryan interrupted them, "That's my godfather, he's a respectable man. And please don't speak ill of the professor behind his back."

The two fell silent under his cold gaze, but both were somewhat unconvinced.

After waiting for a few minutes, Snape opened the door of the small classroom.

"Get in line and follow me."

Everyone lined up quietly and followed Professor Snape to the auditorium.

There were four long tables in the auditorium, which were already full of students. They were looking at the little kids lined up in the middle with great interest.

Candles hung from the starry ceiling, pearly white ghosts drifting through the auditorium.

Professor Snape placed a dirty, wrinkled hat on a stool.

The hat started singing and they were about to put on the sorting hat to be sorted into different houses.

"Those whose names I call, come up and put on the hat for sorting." Professor Snape held a piece of brown paper.

Ryan looked at Yin Li who was sitting in the teacher's seat, and Yin Li smiled at him encouragingly.

Soon we arrived in Ryan.

Professor Snape paused as he called his name, "Lion Cavendish."

Ryan walked forward nervously and put the Sorting Hat on his head.

"There's a thirst for knowledge, an ambition to prove one's strength, and the courage to be no less capable than others. Well, it's really difficult."

"I want to go to Slytherin." Ryan looked at Lin Ling, who was looking at him with her chin in her hand at the Slytherin table.
