He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

Luo Xia was also rubbing his hands together like a fly, thinking about how to answer in a way that would please the Emperor and get him a reward.

"The significance of Astartes' protection..."

"What, Rorschach, do you have any doubts about what the teacher said?"

Just as Luo Xia was deep in thought, he suddenly felt a cold gaze fixed on him.

Looking up, Rorschach realized that Ms. Gwen was staring intently at him from behind the podium.

Apart from the members of the Extreme Team, everyone in the class was looking at him with expressions of amusement.

'Oh no... we've been caught!'

Luo Xia's heart sank upon seeing this.

It's said that a new broom sweeps clean, and on Gwen's first day as their class's instructor, he'll definitely make an example of her to show his authority!

"I object!"

Just as Gwen had already figured out how to deal with Rorschach, the chicken...

Under the shocked gazes of the entire class, Rorschach stood up abruptly and questioned the meaning of Gwen's earlier statement about the Knight's Protection!

"Objection? What objection do you have?"

Although shocked by Rorschach's resistance.

Gwen still looked at Rorschach with a smile, wanting to hear how he would explain his failure to pay attention in class.

"I have a disagreement with what the teacher just said about the meaning of knightly protection. Although what the teacher said is very good, I feel that it is not right!"

"wrong?"

"Yes!"

Rorschach stared intently into Gwen's eyes, showing no sign of backing down.

Now, let the great emperor hear the speech of his loyal subjects!

"I believe that a true knight must protect not only the people and territory of the empire, but also the inheritance and continuation of our human civilization!"

"This is the glorious mission of a knight!"

Hearing Rorschach's words, which took things to a whole new level, Gwen's eyes narrowed, and she was secretly surprised.

Even for a teenager at this moment, it is astonishing that he has such a high level of vision.

After all, the inheritance and continuation of human civilization is undoubtedly a major issue that these teenagers should not be able to understand at this time.

But Luo Xia didn't stop talking. He looked at the sun outside the classroom, raised his right fist, and spoke in a deafening voice:

"Moreover, we have chosen to become knights, an extraordinary profession! That means we must willingly give up the joys, families, and desires of ordinary people, and willingly bear the pain of the Abyss War!"

"Even if we bear the darkness of the abyss, we must preserve a glimmer of hope for human civilization, and bear the suffering of the abyss ourselves so that humanity will not have to face despair."

"Now that's a true knight..."

"And what is meant by protection is not enjoying glory in the sunlight, but stepping alone into the boundless abyss to separate destruction from all living beings."

Therefore, the existence of knights is the last wall that refuses to fall before our human civilization stands on the brink of collapse!

"Clap clap clap!"

"Well said!"

A man dressed in a gray wolf skin walked into the house, clapping as he did so.

He smiled gently at Sister Gwen, who was still standing there in a daze:

"Ms. Gwen, is this student the last one in our class?"

"This is really a pleasant surprise!"

Upon hearing the man's words, Gwen gave Rorschach a deep look, as if she were seeing this unloved illegitimate son of a noble family for the first time.

She was certain that the words Luo Xia had just used would have made those old guys in the War Knights Council extremely happy.

Because what Rorschach was talking about was exactly what they did back then!

“Sir Cliff, his name is Rorschach.”

“And I never expected that Rorschach would have such a deep understanding of knighthood,” Gwen explained to the man named Cliff.

Then, looking at Luo Xia, the thought of punishing him vanished from her mind.

"Rorschach, I'll remember you."

Gwen gave Rorschach a meaningful smile, nodded to Cliff, and then left with her lesson plan.

"Alright, it's Knight time now!"

Cliff, dressed in a gray wolf skin, clapped his hands, and the squires in the class cheered and stood up to walk out of the classroom.

"Captain, what you just said was really awesome!"

Aaron was the first to rush to Rorschach's side, also extremely excited.

Because what Rorschach was saying about the meaning of chivalry was exactly the same as the stories he heard when he was a child!

Becoming such a knight has been his dream since childhood.

So at this moment, not only Aaron, but everyone was filled with enthusiasm after hearing what Rorschach had just said.

So the knights they wanted to become were actually so great!

All I can say is that they're all teenagers, and who hasn't dreamed of becoming a hero?

“Of course, otherwise I would be the captain.” Luo Xia smiled at this.

After all, as a veteran Warhammer player, he had an insatiable understanding of the significance of the Astartes Legion.

Even the significance of Astartes that he just mentioned can be summarized in a single sentence.

But I forgot the beginning, I forgot the end, and I forgot the middle!

In short, "Let the galaxy burn!"

Chapter 10 Vitality Magnetic Field

"Now that we have a new member, let me introduce myself again."

On the training ground of the Sixth Attendant Class, fifty attendant trainees stood together in ten teams.

Cliff stood at the front, watching everything unfold, and slowly spoke as he looked at Rorschach:

“I am Cliff, a Greymane Knight of the Greymane Knights of the Northern Empire. I have been hired by the Church of War to serve as your instructor knight during your knightly squire stage.”

"So barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be in charge of your knighting courses for the entire year."

Graymane Knight?

The sacred number '8' represents one of the five great knightly orders in the northern border of the empire, and is the dream pursued by countless knights in the north!

Rorschach quickly recalled Ryan's previous introduction to the Holy Card North, and was also extremely surprised by Cliff's identity.

Because in the Graymane Knights, any knight who can be bestowed with the title of Graymane Knight is at least a Grand Knight!

Rorschach's adoptive father, a minor noble baron, was only an ordinary knight in terms of strength.

'How extravagant! The Grand Knight himself is giving the lessons.'

Rorschach also knew from his memory that a great knight like Cliff held a pivotal position in the entire North.

Some nobles even charge by the minute to invite such a great knight to give one-on-one lessons to their sons.

Rorschach knew all this because his older brother, who was being paid 500 gold pounds a month by the family for knight training.

This is almost the income of an average family over several decades.

"Although entering the War Knight Academy requires sacrificing to the Blood God, offering one's skull to the Skull Throne, and even paying the price with one's life, it at least gives ordinary people a chance..."

After all, some noble lords would not let their descendants become knights. Instead, they would often study mysticism and become noble professions such as mages, sorcerers, and wizards.

Only minor nobles like Frost would allow their descendants to become knights, a supernatural profession with the highest mortality rate in the entire Holy Empire.

But that is extraordinary, a level that ordinary people can never reach.

Therefore, for an ordinary person to become a knight, it is a complete transcendence of their own social class.

Of course, this also applies to Rorschach at this moment.

"To become a knight, there are only two most important things!"

"That is vitality and skill!"

As he spoke, Cliff's aura suddenly changed, and a pressure from the difference in life classes swept over Rorschach's entire body!

This sense of crisis in the face of a top predator caused cold sweat to drip down Rorschach's forehead.

'What a terrifying creature.'

Luo Xia wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, feeling as insignificant as a lone leaf in a small boat.

Cliff, standing before him, was like an angry gray wolf, constantly radiating his oppressive aura, trying to intimidate Rorschach and his weak prey!

'Space Wolf?'

'Degenerate heresy?'

Rorschach was also taken aback when he saw Cliff wearing a gray wolf skin. "Are you sure this is a Space Wolf Warrior?"

Do emperors nowadays enjoy cosplay?

So you can cosplay a space wolf just by wearing a wolf skin, right?

Even so, Luo Xia gritted his teeth and straightened his back, making his body stand upright.

In the name of an Astartes!
