He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

He, Rorschach, will definitely not lose points!

As time went by, more and more trainees couldn't hold on and collapsed to the ground, their legs giving way.

In less than a minute, only a few people, including Aaron, were still able to stand still on the field.

Rorschach was the most outstanding among them, his body was incredibly sturdy, and apart from the cold sweat on his forehead, he showed no abnormalities.

"good."

Cliff nodded in satisfaction as he watched this scene.

He also had a good impression of Luo Xia, a young man who had never entered the abyss but had profound insights into the name of knight.

Seeing the other party's outstanding performance, Cliff also had a slight idea to test the waters.

It then increases the rotation of its own life force magnetic field.

And the next moment, except for Rorschach.

Aaron and the others, who were still standing in place, suddenly went limp and collapsed to the ground.

"Oh? You can actually hold on?"

Looking at Luo Xia's upright figure despite his trembling body.

Cliff was also slightly surprised. At this moment, under the pressure of his life force magnetic field, which had been raised to the peak of the initial knight level, the other party was still able to stand.

This undoubtedly demonstrates that the opponent's physical condition at this moment far surpasses that of ordinary people.

And that's not all...

After thinking for a moment, Cliff slowly withdrew his own life force magnetic field.

After all, if the training were to continue, although Rorschach could withstand it, it could very well cause psychological harm to the other attendant trainees.

That would defeat the fundamental purpose of this test.

After the oppressive aura emanating from Cliff, which belonged to the level of life itself, dissipated.

Luo Xia also collapsed to the ground instantly, letting out a long breath.

At this moment, Luo Xia's back was already soaked with cold sweat, but even so he persevered!

This is a victory for Astartes!

It is the steel backbone of the people of the great emperor!

"An interesting kid."

Cliff stared at Rorschach, a hint of surprise flashing in his grey-brown eyes.

After all, as a Grand Knight of the Greymane Knights, Cliff had been teaching for nearly ten years.

Only a handful of attendant trainees were able to withstand the magnetic pressure just now!

However, these individuals had already received systematic basic knight training before enrolling in the academy.

To lay such a foundation, the other family would need to invest at least ten thousand gold pounds!

And Rorschach?

As far as Cliff knew, the other party was nothing more than an unloved bastard son of a baron...

The status of an unloved illegitimate child in the family is self-evident.

"Rorschach, come here."

After thinking for a moment, Cliff waved to Rorschach, signaling him to come forward.

Upon seeing this, the attendant trainee, who had just gotten up from the ground, also looked at Luo Xia with a pale face and disbelief in his eyes!

How did this guy manage to withstand that oppressive force just now?

"The captain is amazing..." Aaron also got up from the ground, rubbing his weak legs, his tone full of admiration.

He even felt a sense of pride in being a member of Rorschach's team!

Anthony, standing to the side, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, his eyes filled with complex emotions.

Should I really give in...?

When Rorschach arrived in front of Cliff, the latter had already taken out a fist-sized gray stone from his waist, on which were engraved extremely fine patterns.

"Hold it."

Hearing Cliff's words, Rorschach was somewhat puzzled, but he still reached out and grabbed the stone.

The next moment, a warm sensation came from my palm.

The surface of this gray stone slowly began to glow with a faint blue light!

Upon seeing this, Cliff raised an eyebrow, looking quite surprised.

"Life force sensing stone...blue reaction?"

Chapter 11 Rorschach's Talent

"You've previously received training in the Knight's Breathing Technique?"

Because the function of the talent stone is only to detect the true life force talent of an ordinary person who has never improved their life force.

This allows one to determine whether the other person is capable of becoming a knight.

“No.” Luo Xia shook his head upon hearing this, as he had certainly not received any training in the Knight Breathing Technique.

After all, even the most basic knight's breathing technique costs nearly a hundred gold pounds, which was something Rorschach couldn't afford before.

'However, if we're testing talent...'

'Why isn't adding points to Deep Blue my own talent?'

After all, every attribute point he improved was earned through hard work and sweat!

Luo Xia was also secretly pondering this in his heart. At this moment, he could confirm the reason for his talent. It was entirely because of his physical attributes that surpassed those of his peers.

'A knight's training is linked to vitality, so the talent for vitality is likely related to physical constitution.'

Luo Xia thought for a moment and then directly added the free attribute points he had just obtained to his physique.

[Constitution 1.8][Constitution 1.9]!

Instantly, Luo Xia felt a warm current flow into his body, followed by a tingling sensation in every part of his body, which quickly subsided.

Even the weakness he had just experienced under Cliff's pressure quickly subsided.

But then comes the feeling of hunger.

After all, Rorschach hadn't ingested any energy since morning, except for eating an energy brick under Ryan's shocked gaze.

However, after the upgrade, this energy was quickly exhausted.

"Has your family ever given you any life-strengthening potions?"

Cliff regretted asking the question as soon as he did.

Even the cheapest life-saving potion would be hard for the other party to obtain if the bastard son of a baron family was not favored.

“I’ve never even heard of such a thing.” Rorschach shook his head as well. “Besides, I even take care of my own breakfast. They wouldn’t spend a single pound on me.”

Rorschach's words silenced Cliff.

He glanced at the blue-glowing sensor stone in Luo Xia's hand and was immediately startled.

The blue light emanating from this sensing stone was even brighter than before!

It even had a faint purple halo around it!

Seeing this, Cliff was also incredulous.

Since the arrival of the Abyss Rift more than four hundred years ago, which ushered in an era of spiritual revival and the proliferation of extraordinary individuals, the entire world's landscape has been transformed.

As the Holy Empire rose to power, it continued to explore and develop the different systems of abilities among various extraordinary individuals.

Today, it has evolved into a variety of extraordinary professions.

Therefore, as one of the extraordinary professions, the knight also has a rating system within the entire empire.

Like the most basic life force sensing stone in Cliff's hand.

Based on the five colors that appear—white, green, blue, purple, and gold—a person's life force talent can be determined, and they can be classified as a fifth-class knight!

The lowest rank, the fifth-class white knight, is destined to have a low life force talent, meaning their bodies cannot store much life force. Often, the limit is that they are only at the quasi-knight level.

Of course, with a bit of luck, becoming a knight is also an opportunity.

But the Grand Knight is out of the question, because every being who can become a Grand Knight has a minimum of level four green vitality talent.

Just like Cliff at this moment, his life force talent is green with a hint of blue.

This is what he is most proud of, because even if there is only a hint of blue in the green, it means that the other party has the opportunity to break through to become a Great Knight.

Cliff's green-blue talent gives him a good chance to break through to the level of a Great Knight!

Therefore, within the empire, someone who possesses a third-class blue life force talent is undoubtedly a true knight seed!

Because they possess the blue talent, it means that the life force stored in their body is two to three times that of their peers!

At this moment, Luo Xia's talent was even a hint of purple within his blue, but even this hint of purple proved that he had a real chance to pursue the pinnacle of knighthood!

"So it seems your physique is naturally different from ordinary people, which is your unique talent."

Cliff put away the Life Force Talent Sensing Stone and also came to a conclusion.

He was born to be a knight!

This made Cliff even more optimistic about Rorschach's future, and he even had some thoughts of investing in him.

"But it's not the right time yet..."
