He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

Rorschach stood up, shook the ice shards off his body, shattered the psychic shield that had been frozen into an ice sculpture, and then slowly exhaled a breath of cold air.

"Peak second-tier strength..."

"That's really scary!"

Chapter 140 The power of psychic energy manifests, producing a god!

"Insects! Die!"

When she saw the ant queen before her, whose life magnetic field was incredibly weak, yet who could withstand her own icy breath.

The frost giant was utterly enraged.

The frost power on his body surged rapidly, and in a short moment, his right arm, which had been cut off by Luo Xia's sneak attack, grew back and formed a hammer-shaped hand.

Then, he slammed down directly on Luo Xia, who had just stood up!

"Humph."

Seeing this, Luo Xia merely snorted coldly, a yellow magic ring appeared around his body, and his entire figure disappeared from the spot once again.

"Boom boom boom!"

The frost hammer slammed down where Rorschach had disappeared, creating a deafening roar that shattered the icicles on the surrounding canyon walls.

"One sword reigns supreme!"

At that very moment, an intensely hot aura suddenly emanated from above the frost giant's head.

Luo Xia's figure slowly appeared, and the black flames on the Chinese Storm Greatsword in his hand blazed fiercely before he slashed down hard.

A massive black flame sword light, like a blazing sun, pressed directly towards the frost giant's thick neck.

"Swoosh! Boom boom boom!"

Although the Frost Giant reacted extremely quickly after sensing the danger, it used its frost power to condense an ice shield.

But as the blinding light shone, a huge black sun rose straight up from the top of the frost giant's head.

As the sun dissipated, an incredibly deep wound appeared on the frost giant's neck, with thick black flames burning on it.

But that's all.

The power and damage of this sword strike would surely cripple any second-tier peak species.

For the Frost Giant, it was merely a matter of consuming a small amount of Frost Power.

As long as the Frost Core remains intact, even if Luo Xia can decapitate the opponent with a single sword strike, it will pose no threat to him whatsoever.

"die!"

The enormous frost-covered hand slammed down again, and Rorschach once again activated his Instant Flash and vanished.

It must be said that this essential spell for wizards was originally intended for escaping.

But at this moment, in the hands of Rorschach, a melee knight, it has become an essential ability for dodging and attacking.

However, such frequent use of spells was still somewhat strenuous for Rorschach, who currently only had 22 points in spell spirit, barely reaching the first level of spell spirit.

Luo Xia's figure slowly reappeared several dozen meters away. He looked at the Frost Giant's neck wound, which was gradually being repaired by the surging power of frost, and his expression became solemn.

"This is what elemental creatures are like. Even if I cause them any damage, as long as it doesn't endanger their core, they won't even feel pain."

If there is no pain, then one's own attack has done no harm to the other at all.

As Luo Xia watched the Frost Giant's chest, which was still protected by a thick layer of ice spikes despite the continuous spread of frost power, he began to think of a countermeasure.

"It seems that a one-hit kill is simply unrealistic..."

Unless my attack is powerful enough, but since we are both at the peak of the second tier, even if my psionic energy is strong, it will be difficult to kill him instantly.

Therefore, I can only wait it out! Only when I've exhausted their frost power will I have my chance to deliver a fatal blow!

Rorschach's plan was simple and clear, but putting it into practice was extremely difficult.

After all, he was only a quasi-knight, and prolonged high-intensity combat would be a huge drain on his physical and mental strength, let alone going through the wrestling with a peak second-tier frost giant.

"Explosive Flame Grenade!"

As the Frost Giant's ice hammer slammed down again, Rorschach dodged instantly as well, simultaneously conjuring a large fireball with one hand and slamming it down on the Frost Giant's head.

"Boom boom boom!"

……

"What kind of monster is this...?"

Taylor, who had been watching from afar, was now completely numb.

Eight hours in total.

A quasi-knight fought a peak second-tier frost giant for a full eight hours.

Taylor felt that even if he went out and boasted about it, probably no one would believe him.

"But that instant flash is truly an amazing skill!"

Taylor was incredibly envious as he watched Rorschach once again dodge the Frost Giant's ice spear.

Now he understands why the Witch Knight is the strongest knight. Just this Flash spell alone would probably be too much for even an Earth Knight to react to.

"Huhuhu..."

When Luo Xia reappeared, he was breathing heavily. At this moment, his physical strength and mental strength had been completely exhausted to the limit. His black Holy Temple armor was covered with cracks, and his Desolate Dragon Earth Armor had long been worn away.

Of course, the frost giant was also in dire straits at this moment.

The ice armor formed from the power of frost on his body had long since shattered and could no longer be reformed.

The black flames were burning all the wounds on his body, and even the frost core that was originally protected by thick ice spikes was now oozing blue blood.

That was the effect of Rorschach's psychic spear hitting its target.

If it weren't for the incredibly strong defense of the ice spike armor, coupled with the constant repair by the power of frost, the frost giant would have already died under Rorschach's psionic spear.

But at this moment, the opponent was also at their last gasp.

With its frost power depleted and its core damaged, the Frost Giant's movements have become sluggish, and it can no longer unleash its frost breath.

"Kid, what exactly do you want?! Do you want to fight me to the death?!"

Seeing that Rorschach had stopped attacking, the Frost Giant began to catch its breath and started communicating with Rorschach on a mental level.

But Luo Xia naturally ignored him and slowly closed his eyes.

The scenes of being killed by Abaddon time and time again in the Starry Sky Battlefield began to surface in his mind, one scene after another, finally settling on the image of the final sword strike, where he killed Abaddon with his intent.

"boom!"

A powerful aura of psychic energy emanated from Rorschach's body, and black psychic energy enveloped the Storm Greatsword in his hand and the black Templar armor, completely forming an absolute psychic energy domain.

"Is this the complete form of Rorschach's second-circle spell? Even I can feel the tremor of his life magnetic field from this aura."

Taylor was utterly shocked. He could sense that the life magnetic field that had been spreading around him was now trembling under Rorschach's black magic domain.

What kind of aura was that?

Looking at that pure darkness, it seemed to exude an aura of destruction that devoured everything around it.

The frost giant admitted that it was afraid.

So it made its move directly, condensing its last bit of frost power into a giant ice spear, which it then hurled fiercely at Luo Xia, who was standing in place surrounded by a black psionic field.

"Roar!"

Then, the frost giant roared, its ice spike armor shattered, and a huge blue beam of light shot straight out from its core!

"It's an extreme cold ray!"

"Rorschach, get out of the way! This is the Frost Giant's desperate attack!"

Upon seeing this, Taylor was immediately shocked. He roared and was about to rush forward to shield Rorschach from the fatal blow.

but……

Luo Xia slowly opened his eyes, purple light flashing within them, and then his gaze sharpened.

The black psionic energy emanating from all around surged forward.

The massive ice spear, formed from the power of frost, shattered first. Under the onslaught of black spiritual energy, it vanished in an instant, leaving not a single drop of water behind.

Then came the extremely cold light; the blue light was distorted and then swallowed up the black psionic energy the moment it entered.

After absorbing the extreme cold light, the black psionic energy directly washed over the frost giant's body, and the devouring power spread throughout it.

"What is this thing! No!"

The Frost Giant fully unleashed the hidden energy within its core, and the power of frost clashed with Rorschach's psionic power.

This caused Luo Xia's mind to jolt, and a trickle of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

The psionic backlash has arrived.

But this result is enough...

Rorschach raised the Stormsword with both hands, its tip pointing to the sky.

"I have a sword..."

"laugh!"

Golden flames ignited on the Storm Sword, and the Sword Heart's Clarity completely locked onto the death line on the Frost Giant's chest.

Then, he swung his sword.

"This is……"

Taylor saw it, and he was shaken.
