He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

A second-tier, low-level Frost Giant Ape was struggling to retreat under Luo Xia's onslaught.

Every time Rorschach's halberd fell, it inevitably brought forth a spray of blood.

"Psionic shock".

Luo Xia's eyes were fixed on the Frost Giant Ape, a flash of purple light passing through them.

The Frost Giant Ape was completely stunned on the spot, and then it was directly cleaved in two by the halberd imbued with black spiritual energy.

The opponent's corpse crashed to the ground, and then the grayish-white spiritual light surged wildly into Luo Xia's body, where it was completely absorbed by the life seed and black spiritual energy.

[Mental Health 21.922!]

As Luo Xia sensed the small portion of spiritual energy in his mind that had become more docile and refined after absorbing spirituality, a hint of fanaticism flashed in his eyes.

"Not enough, not enough at all!"

With spiritual energy devouring spirituality, six days have passed, and Luo Xia's life seed has not yet reached its full potential.

This means Rorschach has to speed things up, or he might not be able to complete the mission.

"Is this kid's stamina a bottomless pit?"

Taylor, following behind, watched as Rorschach relentlessly charged into the territory of another Frost Giant Ape, fighting his way in and out of the horde of beasts, his halberd swung while interspersed with spells. Taylor was utterly numb.

For two whole days, Rorschach didn't get any rest in front of Taylor; it was all high-intensity fighting.

But this intense battle did not leave the kid with any signs of exhaustion; on the contrary, he became even more courageous as he fought!

This is the power of two hearts supplying blood; whenever one gets tired, the other can stop and rest while the other fights.

In this way, Rorschach could fight at a high intensity without sleep, just like a perpetual motion machine.

Of course, in Luo Xia's view at this moment, the hunting of magical beasts in front of him was not high-intensity at all.

"The strength that Luo Xia is displaying right now is so great that even a mid-tier second-order magical beast wouldn't be a match for him. Perhaps, with the blessing of that second-ring spell, he really has a chance to kill a peak second-order frost giant?"

Taylor was horrified when he saw Rorschach kill another Tier 2 low-level magical beast.

When did a quasi-knight become able to kill second-tier magical beasts like slaughtering dogs?

……

On the seventh day of the knighthood, most of the prospective knights were already preparing to return to the fortress.

After all, traveling also takes time.

However, as long as you choose a different route on the way back, you can consider it a round trip.

Of course, there will be aspiring knights among them whose spirituality is not yet fully developed. Some of them choose to continue fighting and ignore the eight-day time limit.

Some are preparing to return to the fortress and give it their all, after all, it's not like you have to be spiritually perfect to ignite the spark of life!

"boom."

Luo Xia casually crushed the head of a first-tier peak Ice Scale Poisonous Python, and a wisp of grayish-white spiritual energy surged into his body once again.

This time, however, he only absorbed half of the black spiritual energy in his mind, and directly pushed the rest to the life seed.

"As expected, the spiritual energy that psionic energy can absorb is now completely saturated."

Luo Xia closed his eyes, feeling the overflowing power in his mind, and knew that his psionic energy was now completely saturated.

Under the immense spiritual nourishment of these days, Rorschach's use of psychic energy reached a stable critical point.

Second-tier peak.

At this moment, Rorschach could feel that as long as he maintained control, he could now unleash the destructive power of a second-ring peak wizard without any worries, without fear of losing control and suffering a backlash.

"However, there are still limitations. Although the spiritual energy at the peak of the second tier has been nurtured, so there is no need to worry about losing control or backlash when using it, after prolonged use, the nurtured spirituality will gradually dissipate, and this spiritual energy will return to a violent state..."

Luo Xia looked somewhat helpless. He felt like he was a man who could only last a second, and could only force himself to use ejaculation to prolong his time.

"However, even for a man who can only fight a second-tier peak Frost Giant, it would be enough."

A purple glint flashed in Rorschach's eyes, then he turned to look at Taylor, took a deep breath, and said...

“Teacher Taylor, I’m ready.”

Upon hearing this, Taylor's expression also turned serious as he looked at Rorschach, whose aura was incredibly powerful at the moment.

Knowing that the other person's current state is at its absolute peak.

"A new history may be created by you, Rorschach."

Taylor took a deep breath, drew the crimson battle axe from his back, his life force field contracted, and then slowly said:

"Continue deeper into the forest. At the very bottom of the frigid forest lies an ice and snow canyon, known as the Frost Abyss. The peak second-tier Frost Giant resides at the bottom of this canyon."

Several hours later, Rorschach, led by Taylor, finally came to see a huge ice and snow canyon.

The canyon is flanked by steep ice walls, and its bottom is shrouded in a thick, rumbling fog, obscuring the view of the valley floor.

But the suffocating sense of oppression emanating from the bottom of the canyon proved the existence of that peak second-tier frost giant.

Sensing this oppressive force, Rorschach, standing at the edge of the canyon, looked down with a slight purple glint in his eyes.

Suddenly, they saw a blue giant over ten meters tall, covered in a thick layer of blue ice armor, who was sleeping soundly on a huge throne.

With each breath, the white, frigid air it produced froze the rocks at the bottom of the valley into ice pillars.

Rorschach even saw the ice sculptures created after dozens of humans were frozen in time.

"The Frost Giant's ice armor has extremely strong defense, and ordinary attacks cannot penetrate it at all. However, before it reaches the third tier, it has a fatal weakness, which is the frost core in its chest. As long as you can destroy its core, it will be paralyzed!"

Hearing Taylor's words, Rorschach nodded. This was just like what he had read in the book: as long as the core could be destroyed, this big guy would be a lamb to the slaughter.

Therefore, when facing Frost Giants, it is often the Ranger, who is always accurate, who takes the first step to paralyze the opponent, and then the Knight finishes them off.

"Phew, come on."

Luo Xia took a deep breath, put away his battle halberd, and slowly gripped the Storm Greatsword.

At this moment, his two hearts began to beat violently, his blood began to surge, his life magnetic field rotated invisibly, and a layer of black desolate dragon earth armor gradually emerged, wrapping around the black sanctuary.

Then, a purple light flashed in his eyes, and black flames and black spiritual energy that were barely perceptible to the naked eye instantly adhered to the blade of the Storm Greatsword.

Khorne's Mark, Sword Clarity, Tactical Aura, Psionic Protection, Imperial Favor...

All the mechanisms are combined into one.

"boom!"

next moment.

Without wasting any words, Luo Xia leaped off the edge of the canyon.

The wind howled in my ears.

Rorschach's eyes flashed with purple light, then a psionic shield condensed beneath his feet, allowing him to adjust his posture. He raised the Storm Greatsword high and, using the force of the rapid descent, slashed directly at the sleeping Frost Giant!

"Boom boom boom!"

The Storm Sword slammed into the Frost Giant's right shoulder, sending ice shards flying.

The Storm Greatsword, imbued with psionic energy and black flames, easily sliced through the opponent's thick ice armor and pierced right through it, sending an enormous, icy blue arm crashing to the ground.

"Roar!"

The Frost Giant awoke, its eyes turning red as it stared at Rorschach, having lost its right arm, and let out a deafening roar.

A burst of icy breath was directly spewed towards Luo Xia, and at the same moment, the opponent's huge hand, covered in frost, slammed down on Luo Xia.

"First-circle spell Instant Flash!"

Yellow magic flashed around Rorschach, and his entire figure vanished into thin air.

They dodged the Frost Giant's two consecutive attacks.

"Black Flame Great Sun!"

In the next instant, Rorschach had already appeared at the back of the Frost Giant's neck using Flash, and his Storm Greatsword slashed down again.

But this time, the Frost Giants were prepared and naturally wouldn't let Rorschach succeed again.

The ice armor on his body surged rapidly, forming an ice shield at the spot where Rorschach's Storm Sword slashed, blocking Rorschach's attack.

"clang!"

The moment Luo Xia struck the ice armor shield, he felt a tingling sensation in both arms, and even the outer layer of the desolate dragon armor protecting his arms shattered under the shock.

"What a tough shield."

Rorschach's pupils contracted, and seeing that his attack had failed, he quickly activated his Flash and withdrew.

The instant Rorschach disappeared, the enormous icy hand slammed down on the back of his neck.

"Ants!"

Although the Frost Giants could not speak human language, Rorschach sensed the anger emanating from their spirits.

The frost giant was furious. Someone had dared to attack it while it was asleep and had even cut off one of its arms!

How shameful are humans!

"Roar!"

Thinking this, the Frost Giant roared, and its frost breath indiscriminately covered everything in front of it.

Rorschach, who had just appeared, was immediately covered up.

Rorschach!

Taylor, who had just jumped into the canyon, was also shocked to see this scene.

After all, the frigid temperature of that frost breath was enough to freeze any high-ranking knight into an ice sculpture instantly!

But Taylor breathed a sigh of relief after sensing that Rorschach's life magnetic field was still intact.

This kid is really capable!

As the cold front dissipated, Luo Xia was kneeling on the ground, his entire Desolate Dragon Armor covered with a thick layer of frost.

But nothing happened.

Because at this moment, in front of Rorschach, a black psionic shield large enough to cover Rorschach as he crouched down had already blocked all the damage from the Frost Breath!

"Whoo~"
