Her eight eyes were fixed on Sophia, her gaze carrying a complex emotion.

"The fact that you came to tell me shows that you are a trustworthy person, which is already better than most humans."

"For example, deep in the mountains and forests, or places deep underground where there is no human activity."

She paused.

“My teacher said that she could set up a magical barrier around the new house to prevent ordinary people from getting close, so that humans would no longer accidentally trespass on the territory.”

A low hissing sound came from Amelia's mouthparts.
