"what?"
"Go to Tianxing Academy and deal with Evelyn?"
"Yes, that's the simplest way."
Frey seemed to take it for granted.
“She was in the capital before, protected by the old emperor, so we couldn’t make a move. But now that she’s left the capital and gone to Tianxing Academy, things are much easier.”
Vic thought about it and it seemed to make sense. As long as they did it cleanly, no one would know that they were the ones who did it, and Tianxing Academy couldn't do anything about it.
"Okay, then I'll go with you."
"In case of any accidents, having me here will provide support."
Frey did not refuse, because Vic had a bond with Tianxing Academy, and even if he made a mistake, his presence would still keep the situation under control.
After she finished speaking, she raised her hand and made a light sweeping motion in the space in front of her.
A dark blue spatial rift appeared out of nowhere.
Frey stepped inside first, followed closely by Vic.
The next moment, the two appeared in a grove of trees on the outskirts of Tianxing Academy.
Vic looked up at the familiar buildings, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.
"Tsk tsk! Decades have passed, and this place is still the same. I really envy that guy, he can still come back to be a student."
You could tell from Vic's tone that this guy wasn't just sighing; he was genuinely envious.
Frey ignored him.
She raised her right hand, and a pale golden light shone from her palm, quickly enveloping her entire body.
After the light faded, her appearance had completely changed.
She went from being a wealthy lady to a fifteen or sixteen-year-old college girl.
The clothes have changed too.
Vic glanced at her and couldn't help but ask, "What are you doing? Going to assassinate someone?"
Frey rolled her eyes at him.
"What else can we do? Force our way in?"
After she finished speaking, she pointed to the academy buildings in the distance that were shrouded in a pale blue light.
“There is an ancient formation set up here by a demigod. Even the Pope would have to be polite. If we force our way in, things will get out of hand and no one will be able to handle the consequences.”
"Let's sneak in first, take care of that little girl without anyone noticing, and then make a quick getaway."
After listening, Vic felt that it did make sense.
It's laughable that two Saint Realm experts, both prominent figures, would engage in assassination.
Vic raised his hand and wiped it on his body, a faint orange light flashing by.
His appearance has changed too.
I became my younger self.
Frey glanced at him.
"This is what you looked like when you were young. You were definitely more pleasing to the eye than you are now."
"That is."
Vic raised his chin, his tone smug.
"Back in my school days at Tianxing Academy, I was a campus heartthrob. The number of girls who chased after me could circle the entire academy."
Frey rolled her eyes again and then walked towards the academy.
Vic quickly followed.
The two quickly approached the pale blue light barrier surrounding the academy.
Vic walked ahead without hesitation, passing right through the crowd.
The moment his body touched the light shield, the pale blue energy rippled slightly like water, and then his entire body passed through it.
There were no obstacles.
This formation is designed to detect outsiders entering; theoretically, those who are not from this school should not be able to enter.
Frey followed closely behind, passing through the light barrier with equal ease.
The two of them walked into the interior of Tianxing Academy without any of the students passing by noticing them.
Vic glanced back at the still intact barrier, then looked at Frey, looking somewhat surprised.
"Hey! I have the academy's identity mark and can ignore the formation to get in. You're a top student from the Imperial Academy, and you have no connection with Tianxing Academy. How did you get in? I was hoping to see you make a fool of yourself."
Frey brushed her long, wine-red hair over her shoulder, her tone carrying a hint of disdain.
"I am a Saint Realm Mage."
"Although his magic power has not yet reached the level of a demigod, his mastery of formations has already reached this level."
She pointed to the barrier behind her.
"Although this barrier cannot be broken, it's no big deal to isolate it temporarily."
After hearing this, Vic immediately gave a thumbs up.
"Wow, you're the best. I need to find a chance to go and talk to that old devil and ask her to strengthen the academy's formations."
After they finished speaking, the two found a secluded spot, and Vic took out his communication device and contacted Sophia.
A few seconds later, Sophia's voice came through the communication device.
"Vic, is something wrong?"
"We've arrived."
Vic lowered his voice and said something.
“It’s inside the academy. Tell me where that woman is.”
There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the communication device.
Then, Sophia's voice rang out again, clearer than before.
"You? What do you mean by 'you'?"
Vic coughed lightly.
"Oh, Frey's here too."
There was silence on the other end of the communication device for a few more seconds.
Then came a long sigh, tinged with a hint of gritted teeth.
"Vic, did you tell Frey about me again?"
Vic blinked, his expression completely innocent.
"How could that be? She guessed it herself."
Do you think I believe that?
Sofia's voice was clearly filled with disdain.
"Fine, I won't argue with you. Where are you now? I'll come find you."
Vic gave a location and then hung up.
About ten minutes later, the three met in a corner of the academy.
Sophia spotted the two from afar, thought for a moment, and then walked over.
As she approached them, her gaze first swept over Vic's face, while Vic whistled, holding the back of his head, looking like he was enjoying the chaos.
Seeing his expression, Sophia was extremely annoyed, and finally her gaze fell on Frey.
But she didn't expose it.
"Ahem, Uncle Vic, and who is this?"
Vic had already prepared his explanation.
The word "uncle" almost made Vic bite his tongue.
But he reacted quickly.
“Oh, you are my friends, your name is, uh, your name is Vera.”
Sophia's lips twitched immediately.
"Vera? She really knows how to choose a name."
She looked at the girl with long, wine-red hair, a polite smile on her face.
"Hello, my name is Sophia."
Frey was furious at Sophia's pretense of not recognizing her, but she still wore the same polite smile on her face.
"Hello, Sophia. Vic told me about the situation. Since it's related to a cult, we'll handle Evelyn."
The three stood facing each other, each with a smile on their face, but their thoughts were completely different.
Vic stood in the middle, looking left and right, feeling like a fool stuck in the middle.
He sighed inwardly: This couple is really something else; even in this state, they still have to pretend.
Chapter 90 Inviting the Enemy into the Trap
Sophia led Vic and Frey toward the dormitory area, taking the least crowded paths along the way to avoid being seen by too many people.
They also dared not use overly powerful magic directly, because Tianxing Academy had a magic detection array.
Vic followed behind Sophia, his eyes never leaving her, a smile on his face that looked like he was asking for a beating.
Sophia felt the strange gaze behind her, and without turning around, she knew what this guy was thinking.
