Starting with summoning the succubus

……

……

"So, I can go back to class now?"

Shuguang College, Academic Affairs Office.

Qi Lin looked at the Dean of Students, Orlister, in front of him and asked calmly.

“No, you don’t need to go back to Class (3).

With a cold face, Orlist sat in front of the computer, opened the school's management interface, clicked the mouse a few times, and then said, "You have obtained your first demon. According to the school rules, starting today, you and your demon will report to Class (1)... Yes, that is, the Class (1) where David is, Gordon David! Also, the class teacher Feng Shaoyuan will help you register your demon. If you don't understand anything, just ask him. You two can go now."

"it is good."

Qi Lin turned and left with Elena.

Even now, Elena is still gripping his hand tightly, her palms sweaty.

"It's dangerous here."

Elena gazed at the group of teachers coming and going in the corridor, her pink eyes sparkling with a strange light: "Many first-order life forms, and several second-order life forms. That Zhou Yu from earlier is even more unfathomable to me; he's definitely beyond the third order!"

"It's safe here."

Qi Lin gently patted the little succubus's hand, signaling her to let go: "Don't be nervous, just come with me."

Irene then let go.

"Let's go to school."

With a smile on his face, Qi Lin led Elena straight to the teaching building where Class (1) was located.

As they approached the classroom, more and more students gathered around, and without exception, they all began whispering amongst themselves upon seeing them.

"Hey, is that guy Qi Lin?"

"Yes, it was him. Last night, he led the devil to Thomas's gang and crippled both of Thomas's legs. He's still in the hospital and hasn't woken up yet. I heard his kneecaps are all pulverized."

"Well done!"

"This is what you call acting on behalf of Heaven! Those repeat students are no different from street thugs; it's better if they're ruined!"

"But...but I feel like crippling someone is a bit too much..."

"What the hell! You've never been bullied by Thomas, so it's easy for you to talk when you're not the one suffering!"

"Exactly, exactly. I even got beaten up by Thomas last time, and he stole three hundred dollars from me."

"Exactly! That bastard even touched my girlfriend inappropriately once! I was so angry that I stayed sulking for days!"

"That being said, I still have a feeling that Thomas's boss, Gordon David, won't just let this go."

"I heard that David has already secured a place at an exceptional university, which means his abilities must have improved significantly!"

"Who cares? Let's just wait and see what happens."

"Speaking of which, that succubus girl next to Qi Lin is really pretty... and she even has pink hair, hehe..."

"Beautiful my ass! Don't let your lust cloud your judgment. That monster is even more ruthless than Qi Lin. Last night, he smiled and broke the hands of more than twenty people! You know Jason, right? Thomas's top henchman. Last night, both of his hands were twisted into pretzels by him!"

"Holy crap?!"

"..."

Discussions rose and fell.

Qi Lin's retaliatory actions last night have undoubtedly made him a prominent figure at Dawn Academy.

But he didn't care about these looks and comments.

Amidst the stares and discussions along the way, Qi Lin led Elena to the classroom of Class (1).

At this moment, a tall, thin middle-aged man wearing a white shirt and black trousers was already waiting by the front door of the classroom.

"Hello, Teacher Feng."

Qi Lin stepped forward and greeted her, then nudged Elena's waist with his elbow, signaling her to say hello as well.

However, Elena pouted and said, "No, he hasn't even taught me anything yet, why should I call him teacher? I can only call him 'Master Mage' at most."

"..."

Qi Lin was speechless.

However, the middle-aged man whom he called "Teacher Feng" clearly didn't care and even smiled gently at Elena: "You're right. I really like the devil's serious attitude towards knowledge, which is something we modern people lack."

Let me introduce myself. My name is Feng Shaoyuan. As you can sense, I am a second-tier mage and currently the homeroom teacher of Class (1). I am responsible for math and basic magic theory classes. You can call me teacher after you have taken my class.

Elena blinked her big pink eyes.

"Let's go to the medical office for a physical examination."

Feng Shaoyuan glanced at Qi Lin, then turned and walked towards the other staircase.

"Qi Lin, the school doctor will conduct a full examination of your demon, and then the school will help you complete the demon registration. Note that once the demon is registered, you and it are legally one entity, and all its illegal and criminal acts will be attributed to you, understand?"

"clear."

Chapter 10 Elena's Medical Report, David's Arrival

Campus Medical Office.

The female school doctor used magic to create a pure black insulating shield, inside which she conducted a series of physical examinations on Elena.

Qi Lin and Feng Shaoyuan sat quietly on the chairs to the side, waiting.

"Teacher Feng, I'll pay you back in a few days."

Qi Lin suddenly said.

"No need." Feng Shaoyuan looked at him and laughed gently. "It's just the cost of a few meals. Our teachers' meal cards have discounts, so don't worry about it. Just consider it... well... consider those meals as my way of celebrating for you. Congratulations on successfully signing a contract with your first demon."

"Thank you, teacher."

Qi Lin said earnestly.

In the original owner's memories, Feng Shaoyuan often swiped his card to buy him meals, not "a few meals," but "dozens of meals."

"By the way, I remember your score on the last monthly exam was only 5 stars for your mental attribute, right?" Feng Shaoyuan asked, "And now? In less than a month, it's already skyrocketed to 7 stars?"

“Yes, 7 stars.” Qi Lin nodded. “I think it should be starting to ‘develop’.”

"Great, that's good!" Feng Shaoyuan patted him on the shoulder with a smile.

Qi Lin smiled and said nothing more.

Seventeen years after his birth, Professor Victor of the Federation first proposed the "Gifted Adolescence Theory".

Professor Victor believes that the growth and development of the new humans are divided into two types: physical development and the development of cultivation talent. The development of cultivation talent comes later than physical development, and usually occurs between the ages of 16 and 20, regardless of gender.

Professor Victor called it the "gifted adolescence".

A cultivation failure before the age of 16 is not necessarily a true failure; it is possible that after the talent's adolescence, it will usher in its ultimate explosion.

Qi Lin is 18 years old now, which matches the age requirement.

Therefore, he can simply explain the rapid increase in strength brought about by the system's skill point upgrades as "development".

No matter who asks, he always gives the same reason: I was born a cultivation genius, and I'm only just starting to develop!

"The promotion exam is in six months."

At this moment, Feng Shaoyuan looked at Qi Lin beside him and brought up another topic, saying earnestly, "You've only just entered Class (1), to be honest, it's a bit late. If you want to get into Chaofan University, you need to work twice as hard during this period."

"Speaking of this..."

Qi Lin's heart stirred slightly, and he quickly asked, "Teacher Feng, I heard that Professor Ye Sen, who teaches biology, often takes on apprentices to help him cultivate a large number of otherworldly insects, is that right? I remember last winter, he and his apprentices cultivated tens of thousands of otherworldly mosquitoes, successfully filling the gap of no mosquitoes in Dawn City during the winter... I wonder if you could put in a good word for me and give me an interview opportunity?"

Is that a mosquito?

That's experience!

Tens of thousands of experience points! That's enough for him to level up many, many times!

"Ok?"

Upon hearing this, Feng Shaoyuan was completely bewildered: "You want to become an apprentice under Old Ye? Why? He's a druid. What extra knowledge can you, a demon wielder, learn from him? If you ask me, you'd be better off focusing on your cultivation during this time and not getting distracted by anything else... Also, don't mention the mosquitoes in front of him. He was fined over 300,000 by the city hall because of that."

"I think the environment of a biology lab can help develop my talents."

Qi Lin, with a straight face, blurted out: "Do you remember Mr. Victor's theory of the adolescence of talent? He said that certain specific scenarios can stimulate the brains of new humans, thereby further stimulating their cultivation talents. I believe that places with many plants and insects are my 'specific scenarios'."

Because I clearly remember the night my mental strength reached level 6, I accidentally fell into the roadside greenery, and then broke through that same night when I got home! Then, a few days later, I experienced a second breakthrough, reaching level 7.

"Oh?"

Feng Shaoyuan raised an eyebrow slightly, then nodded gently: "If that's the case, then it's definitely worth a try... Hmm, alright, I'll talk to Lao Ye about this when I have time and ask him to give you an interview opportunity."

"Thank you so much, Teacher Feng!"

Qi Lin quickly stood up and thanked him.

"Don't rush to thank me." Feng Shaoyuan smiled. "It's just an interview opportunity. Whether you pass or not depends on yourself. But let me remind you, you have Lao Ye's biology class this afternoon. Remember to do well in class, it might give you some extra points in the interview."

"I understand, I will try my best..."

"Buzz!"

Before Qi Lin could finish speaking, the black light barrier beside him slowly dissipated, revealing a hospital bed. Elena was lying on it, and a middle-aged female school doctor was standing next to her.

The demon check is over.

"There's nothing seriously wrong, just a bit of developmental delay."

The female school doctor walked to the computer and printer, typed a few keys, and printed out a report for Qi Lin: "I have uploaded the data and completed the demon report. You can take a look at this examination report. The testing equipment here is not precise enough, and there may be errors in the ability test, but it shouldn't be too far off. Also, there are two suggestions in the report that you need to remember."

"Thank you, teacher."

Qi Lin took the order and looked down at it.
