Ya Dabao laughed mockingly.

“Go that way.”

Wings pointed to a staircase leading up to the side of the cave entrance. Mercer smiled and walked up the stairs.

Perona quickly followed.

100 meters later.

Accompanied by the sound of footsteps,

Step out to the top of the stairs.

Before your eyes is a long, looping corridor, and following Ya Dabao's directions, you arrive at a half-hidden stone doorway.

There is a stone plaque at the entrance with the words "Peipei" written on it.

The stone door was easily pushed open, and upon entering, a chandelier hung from the ceiling in the center of the room, with "beeswax" burning inside. Under the bright light, the room was very bright.

Near the window, there was a large pink bed, with a pink mosquito net with a spiderweb pattern hanging from the ceiling.

There is also a marble-style tea table on the side. The room has bookshelves, a sofa, a dressing table, a wardrobe, and a bathroom.

The interior is decorated in the style of a high-end hotel.

Perona's eyes lit up, and she let out a joyful scream, took two steps forward, and pounced onto the bed.

They rolled around on it contentedly.

Mercer smiled and looked at Perona, saying, "You seem quite satisfied. Well then, you should get some rest."

"Okay, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep now. See you tomorrow."

Perona laughed heartily as she wriggled excitedly on the bed.

Mercer smiled and went out the door. Right next to her, she stopped and looked at her own room number.

Push open the door and go inside.

The layout of Perona's room was similar, but the interior was decorated in cool colors. After looking around, Mercer nodded in satisfaction.

Before long, they passed through several more rooms.

The bedroom layout is basically complete.

Currently, Ya Dabao's castle has a total of four floors.

From top to bottom.

The top floor is a spacious recreation area with a swimming pool, billiards room, bathhouse, meditation area, kitchen and dining room.

The third floor, right next to the top floor, is the residential area, containing the rooms of Messer, Kureha, Ya Dabao, Perona, Xiong Bao, and many others, with quite a few rooms still available.

The second floor is the work area, which is expected to include a large laboratory and forging room, as well as several empty rooms that have not yet been occupied.

The first level of the breeding area, currently at the bottom, is a huge bird nest space.

There are other spaces remaining inside the castle, but they have not yet been opened up.

The project was quite rushed, so apart from the bedrooms which were actually renovated, the other floors were still in the initial stages of construction.

It's only roughly finished; the inside is completely empty. It needs continuous improvement over time.

After inspecting everything, Moses was very satisfied. He opened a nearby window, jumped out, and came to the outside world.

All the windows and doorways inside Ya Dabao's castle connect to the outside world.

"Let's go back to the warship."

I've been out for most of the day, it's time to go back and show my face so people won't worry.

For some reason, as he walked towards the port, Moses noticed that there seemed to be more mafia members on the streets.

He fell into deep thought.

Remembering what Ya Da Bao had said before, he muttered to himself, "It seems that the Ishu family and the Mafia did not fall out over the Devil Fruit?"

However, this has nothing to do with Moses, because: "I'm just here for sightseeing, and it has nothing to do with the Navy either. The member states are independent and autonomous."

Soon.

We arrived at the port.

Moses boarded the warship.

"Hey," Bogart called out to Mercer from the top floor, "Where have you been? I haven't seen you since this afternoon."

Mercer gripped the striped texture on the exterior wall of the cabin, climbed up, and scaled the top railing.

Standing next to Bogart, Messer rolled her eyes at him: "Didn't I tell you, we're going out to have some fun? What? You miss me already?"

Bogart said speechlessly, "Your grandfather and Kuzan went out on business. Before they left, they told me to keep an eye on you."

"Oh! I see. I thought you were genuinely worried about me. I never expected this. Tsk tsk."

Moses immediately became sarcastic, her little mouth babbling. Upon hearing this, Bogart's lips twitched violently, and he slapped Moses on the shoulder:

Do you think I'm not worried about you at all?

"Really?" Mercer asked doubtfully.

Bogart: "Yes."

"Oh, then keep it up, good luck!" Mercer said with a grin.

Bogart: "."

After a moment of silence, Bogart asked curiously, "Did you call those six brats over?"

Mercer tilted his head, somewhat puzzled: "Six brats? Who are they?"

Bogart frowned. "This port city has a six-person thief gang. The oldest is only fifteen years old, a boy named Will. There are four men and two women. They came over two hours ago saying that you sent them and that they had to say your name."

At this point, Moses realized what was happening, and immediately laughed, looking at Bogart and saying:

"So, what do you think of that guy named Will, sir?"

"No, you really found this?" Bogart looked at Mercer with a slight toothache, then his eyes lit up with admiration:

"But I must say, those two boys named Will and Mani are actually quite good. And those younger boy and girl named Aban and Jada are also quite nice."

Bogart has a good eye; he's been with Garp for so many years, he's seen all kinds of people.

If he can even say "not bad," then it really is not bad.

Upon hearing this, Moses laughed as well. "So that means you've taken them in?"

Boga nodded with a smile, "We've come across a promising talent. Since he's taken the initiative to come to us, of course we should accept him."

However, I've only let them stay in the cabin for now. Once your grandfather comes back and sees them, they'll be officially on duty.

"A handyman?" Moses laughed. "Isn't that right?"

"Yes, that's necessary, but those brats named Will and Mani don't need to. After all, the Navy recruits are based on strength first, and those who are capable will naturally receive preferential treatment."

At least I could be a private first class.

"By the way, how did you run into them?" Bogart asked curiously.

Moses: "Didn't you ask them?"

“He stammered and didn’t want to talk about it, so I didn’t ask,” Bogart said.

"However, I also sent people out to inquire. It turns out to be a group of thieves responsible for this area, but not the kind who have killed people."

"You don't want people who have taken lives?" Mercer asked, puzzled.

"Hmm... it depends on the situation. As long as they're not utterly heinous and have a heart for 'justice,' we'll still accept them."

Bogart thought about it for a moment, then said it without hiding anything.

Moses understood that the world was not simply black and white, but rather a mixture of shades of gray.

Not to mention this world where slavery still exists, and the powerful can do whatever they want.

If one has talent, some minor problems can be overlooked depending on the circumstances.

Bogart hesitated for a moment, and Mercer, seeing this, asked curiously, "Just say what's on your mind. This isn't like you. What's wrong?"

Bogart smiled and, quite naturally, took a sword from Mercer's lower back.

"Cold dew"

His eyes lit up as he held it in his hands. Bogart smiled and said, "Little Messer, I noticed it a long time ago. Tell me, where did you get this short sword?"

Damn!

He drew his sword.

He stared at Hanlu with a hint of fascination in his eyes, brandished his sword hilt in the air, and then muttered in surprise:

"The sword can even condense moisture from the air, isn't that cool?"

"A brand new weapon not listed in the Famous Swords Handbook, a Fine Sharp Sword."

Looking at Bogart's infatuated expression, Mercer said speechlessly, "Is it really that bad?"

He then reached up and grasped the hilt of the sword at Bogart's waist, and as he retreated, he drew the sword with a clang.

Moses looked at the blade, which was gleaming white without a single blemish and had clear patterns on it. He ran his left index and middle fingers along it.

"Ding ~"

The fingertip snaps against the blade.

The voice is ethereal.

Mercer closed his eyes and savored the moment, then opened them with a hint of regret on his face:

"The materials are excellent, but the forging technique is flawed, ruining the quality of a sharp knife."

Moses took a step back, gripped the hilt of the knife with both hands, raised it, and swung it down.

Progress, a direct thrust.

Turn around and sweep across.

There was no set method to wielding the sword; it was simply a state of oneness with nature, a unity with all things, where one wielded the sword according to the feelings in one's heart.
