With a cigarette dangling from her lips, she questioned him coldly.

"Miss Hina." Tears streamed down the artilleryman's face.

His will was not firm, and his emotions were tangled up in a frenzy.

You deceived me, you deceived me!

"The justice you speak of is a complete lie!"

"I've just been serving those fat pigs all along!"

His face quickly turned red with anger and embarrassment.

"You just treat us like disposable material!"

"No matter how hard we small fry try to cultivate, we can't even see your back!"

"Nonsense, Lieutenant!" Hina said coldly. "We've rescued quite a few—"

The artilleryman gave her no chance to explain, but instead struggled to twist his bound hands, pulled out a pistol, and pointed it at his own throat.

There was a loud bang.

Blood mixed with chunks of flesh splattered onto Hina's pretty face.

The irrational one taught her, the rational one, a lesson through madness.

Chapter 71 You're Next

Do you think I should redeem them?

"Do you think I'm trying to free them from false justice and give them true justice?"

Do you think I'm fighting against the darkness of this world?

In the realm of the mind, tens of thousands of clowns suddenly turned around and looked at one clown with somewhat innocent and naive eyes.

He wore a wig with a yellow-green hue and his face was painted with cheap paint.

"Then you underestimate me."

Tens of thousands of clowns said in unison.

It was as if ten thousand drums were beating simultaneously, making the hearts of the college students who had just found themselves tremble.

"Or you can kill me."

"Kill me, and you will be me."

A grinning clown came out and handed a small knife to the college student.

It also stretched its neck out.

"Come on, kill me."

"You'll get everything you want."

His eyes darted around. "You can take that pink-haired woman for yourself. Her eyes are already starting to panic. Just hand her a few more knives, and let the blood of a cowardly person collapsing in the face of the truth stain her hands. She'll be at your mercy."

"Don't resist desires; we all know they exist."

"You can build any harem you want on this sea."

"It's rare that you can still retain your kindness."

"It can only be born in the homeland you came from."

The clown licked his lips, staring at the college student's slightly trembling hand as he took the knife.

It keeps getting closer.

"You can save whomever you want. Just like that artilleryman, that way you can satisfy your kindness to the fullest extent."

"You can kill someone without any logic, for example, if you remember that father and son and that country the same way."

“I can tell you’re unhappy there.”

"And wealth, we already have it, but you can enjoy it."

The Joker, leaving Arkham Asylum, had a look of madness in his eyes.

"Come on, kill me!"

"Kill me and you can enjoy everything."

The college student, holding a knife, pressed it tremblingly against the clown's neck, and blood began to seep out.

"You think I wouldn't dare!"

His eyes were red, and he was extremely dissatisfied with this provocation.

This is my time travel!

These should be my stories!

I'm not Batman, I'll kill you!

The college student, in a fit of rage, slashed the clown's neck with a knife that resembled his own.

There was no blood seeping out, only a head that had fallen off in vain.

"Hahahaha!"

Tens of thousands of clowns laughed wildly at the same time.

"Did you see that? Murder isn't scary."

They stretched out countless hands, pulling college students into their ranks.

"Come on, come on, we have everything you want, join us!"

"Let the world bring us joy, instead of us saving the world!"

The college student, eyes wide open, didn't realize he had gained any control over the body; instead, he was being pulled step by step into this terrifying, maniacal laughter.

He didn't care whether he killed him or not; regardless of whether he killed him or not, he was destined not to gain control of this body.

The college student suddenly realized.

From the very beginning, they were one!

It was only after tens of thousands of splits that he began to feel a sense of self for the first time.

The Joker simply wanted him to acknowledge his desires.

It's just admitting that you want those things.

The college student stumbled a few steps before merging into the thousands of figures.

Their eyes revealed a hint of bewilderment.

Madness and ignorance.

It felt incredibly real.

"You're next."

The clown, his head severed, picked up his severed head, glanced at a figure hidden in the far corner of his mental world, and grinned as he spoke.

The oil lamp at the bow of the ship swayed incessantly under the gunfire.

His feelings were remarkably similar to Hawkins' at that moment.

"Hey, when are you finally going to break through?"

Ap's hand is longer than normal, somewhat resembling a three-section staff, dangling precariously.

He spoke in a certain tone.

"The chances of breaking through now are zero."

Hawkins remained silent, then pulled out a card and said indifferently.

Then he pulled out another card.

"The chances of breaking through now are ninety percent."

"Isn't ninety good enough?" Ap said somewhat angrily.

He somewhat regretted allying with this guy; these marines had actually started fighting amongst themselves, and this couldn't have been better.

However, he still harbored some ulterior motives.

"Ninety the fourth time, zero the fifth time."

Hawkins' face was somewhat pale, and dozens of cards symbolizing different outcomes were scattered in front of him.

He couldn't understand why the results of each divination were different from the last.

It was as if fate was constantly mocking and ridiculing him.

Divination could not tell him the outcome of his choice.

Hawkins suddenly became hesitant to make a choice, like someone suffering from choice paralysis, whose previously relied-upon selection methods suddenly stopped working.

So, instinctively, one makes a choice out of fear.

"Why, why did this happen!"

Hawkins suddenly stood up, grabbed Ap's collar, and questioned him with an extremely flustered look in his eyes.

Imagine a fortune teller getting a bunch of gibberish; you can imagine how panicked he must be.

The clown's mocking words still echoed in my mind.

"You're not even sparing us?!" he growled angrily.

My guess was right. That clown must have done something crazy enough in Mary Geoise to warrant such a targeted attack from the Navy and the World Government!

But what's even more terrifying is that the other party has become so deranged that they see all of them as food to be eaten.

He was afraid, afraid that if he broke through, he would find that it was all just another joke by the clown.

That guy will be somewhere again, pointing at his own disheveled figure and laughing so hard he can't straighten up.
