Chapter 15 Confiscating Property
As is widely known, world governments do not allow human trafficking.
As the World Government's violent apparatus, the Navy naturally couldn't stand for this.
Therefore, most auction venues in the Sabaody Archipelago are masquerading as employment agencies.
This way, the navy at Area 66 can pretend they can't see it.
“Darkness, so dark.” Bucky shook his head, looking heartbroken.
He felt he was quite immersed in the role; since he was playing a navy officer, he had to act like one.
So he gently pushed open the door to what was called a job placement agency but was actually a human auction.
Before the two burly, suit-clad thugs could even intervene, he spoke first:
"Hello, this is a house raid."
Is this guy crazy?
The thug in the suit was stunned for a long time, unable to imagine what kind of person would dare to come to this lawless area and say such a thing to an auction house with obviously powerful connections.
But when he noticed the newcomer's white uniform, his expression brightened again.
The people we've been told to come have arrived!
He just didn't get a chance to send a message inside.
A naval unit filed in.
Sergeant Jacques led the way, his expression exuding an indescribable air of righteousness.
The Navy's new appointment has been made, and the esteemed Lieutenant Commander Yarrow is now a naval lieutenant commander at Base 66 in the Sabaody Archipelago.
Naturally, Jacques was also a member of Base 66.
So when Major Yaro came to uphold justice, this lackey naturally had to be at the forefront.
The two men in suits guarding the gate, along with the dozen or so thugs who arrived quickly afterward, all immediately covered their heads and squatted down upon seeing the white uniform.
They're not pirates, why would they fight the Navy to the death?
Then a man in a mustache and suit, clearly the leader of the men in suits, came out with heavy footsteps.
He shouted repeatedly:
"What are you doing!"
"Do you even know whose property this is?!"
"Who is your superior? We need to see your superior!"
“Here it is!” Bucky obediently held up one hand.
This guy?
The man with the mustache's expression changed instantly, and he turned to run away.
He had barely taken two steps when he was blocked by a long gun.
The dark muzzle of a gun was pressed against his forehead.
Jacques didn't know how to describe the grandeur he felt at that moment.
Even though he had abandoned the light and turned to darkness, and was fully prepared to commit crimes, he actually came to uphold justice.
The world is truly amazing.
"Yes, shoot this way, get a close-up, this is an exclusive news story!"
Bucky pointed and told Alne to hold the camera up to the mustache's face and take a few close-up shots.
What do you want to do?
The man with the mustache clearly recognized who it was and asked, holding his breath.
"What? Do you see my uniform? See the two words on the back?"
Bucky almost lost his composure when he said that.
The Joker wore justice on his body.
If Gotham City's old friends saw this, they probably wouldn't believe it.
But his "righteous" actions didn't stop there.
With a bang.
The only main entrance to the auction hall was suddenly kicked open.
Disco, who was diligently creating an atmosphere under the spotlight, paused.
The bright future he had been looking forward to has finally arrived.
But in a way he didn't expect.
The newcomer was dressed in a bright naval uniform and draped in a coat of justice.
The smile on his face was bright and sunny.
"We all believe that chaos brings fairness, right?"
Bucky muttered to himself.
This is another commonality he found among the three clowns.
“Well then,” he straightened up and made an awkward, aristocratic gesture, “ladies and gentlemen, congratulations.”
"You have been arrested because of your involvement in the slave trade."
The buyers below the venue looked astonished, not understanding why the navy protecting them and taking their money would come to disrupt this event.
Does anyone really believe the empty words of a world government?
Don't be ridiculous, there are several World Government officials in the front row!
"presumptuous!"
"Which navy unit are you from? I'm going to file a complaint against you!"
In the second row of the meeting room, a richly dressed man suddenly stood up, pointed at Bucky's nose, and shouted angrily.
If it were pirates, he would definitely shrink under the chair, or even secretly bury his huge body on the floor.
But it was the navy that arrived.
Then he would dare to curse at Bucky by name.
But he clearly overlooked one thing.
Some navy personnel are simply criminals disguised as naval officers.
He was met with three loud gunshots.
The attendant next to the "Tax Official" looked dazed.
But the navy officer in front of him still seemed dissatisfied. He covered his ear with one hand, as if afraid of the loud sound of gunfire, while holding a pistol in the other hand, he fired shot after shot at the tax officer's body that had fallen to the ground.
The smells of blood, gunpowder, and urine coming from who-knows-where.
The pampered adults were terrified by the scene and turned pale.
"Now, ladies and gentlemen, have you heard me clearly?"
Bucky casually tossed the scalding hot pistol aside.
In fact, he took it from the mustache.
"How come there's no security at all for such a large auction venue?"
Bucky muttered something in disappointment.
He felt that the pirates in this world were too conservative; they were unmoved by so much glittering wealth right there.
"Men on the left, women on the right, stand properly. Let our dear reporter give you a clear close-up. And you slaves over there, stop wiping the blood off your faces. Can you be any more miserable?"
The slaves in the iron cage wore extremely thin gray clothes with scattered holes.
Snow-white skin emerged from under the gray clothes, only to be mercilessly scratched with several wounds.
Her kneeling posture caused her long black hair to fall to the floor.
The sky-blue eyes, just now covered with a layer of mist, had just stirred up the atmosphere of the auction to an exceptionally high level.
These are female slaves, full of poignant beauty.
After taking a few quick photos, Arne felt a little disappointed.
Just moments ago, Disco was all high and mighty, but now he looked terrified, trembling as he hid in a corner, dialing a Den Den Mushi.
"Are you done playing?" Bucky asked affectionately as he moved closer to him.
Just then, the Den Den Mushi in Disco's hand was answered.
"Hey, what's up?!" The Den Den Mushi looked annoyed.
"Good morning," Bucky greeted him gently.
On the other side of the Den Den Mushi.
Doflamingo glanced at the obviously dim sunlight, his expression strange.
However, he still recognized that the voice did not belong to his subordinate.
"Where's Disco?"
"He's... well, he's doing fine." Bucky took the Den Den Mushi from Disco's stunned hand.
The cold muzzle of a gun was pressed firmly against his forehead.
"By the way, the job placement agency in Zone 1 is the human auction venue you mentioned."
"Now it's been copied by me, Colonel Yaro Lux."
