The Avengers?

Iron Man immediately had a thought; he suddenly remembered the last question in the quiz system.

The question was about who the spiritual leader of the Avengers was. He subconsciously thought that the Avengers referred to the Earth Alliance, but now it seems that it might be the Avengers League.

“Go on,” Iron Man said to Nick Fury after a moment’s thought.

“I thought you were more difficult to get along with.” Nick Fury was slightly surprised; Iron Man’s temper was much better than rumored.

As he expected, Iron Man would look disdainful, indicating that he had no interest in listening.

"As I said, the world is not as simple as it seems; there are many extraordinary forces at play."

"In order to deal with these potential threats from supernatural forces, I plan to assemble a team, a special team."

"More precisely, a team composed of people with special talents like you," Nick Fury stated his purpose directly.

"I agree!" Iron Man hesitated for a moment, then readily agreed again.

After learning the truth about this world, Iron Man also wanted to meet other people with extraordinary powers.

Nick Fury was slightly taken aback. He hadn't expected things to go so smoothly. It turned out that none of the persuasive words he had prepared for Iron Man were needed.

Iron Man's current behavior is somewhat inconsistent with the other party's usual behavior pattern.

"Could it be... because of that quiz system?"

Nick Fury said calmly.

Then he changed the subject and suddenly said, "So next, let's talk about that question-answering system."

Chapter 018 Hydra: The Plan to Transform Captain America

Unlike the original storyline, Nick Fury came to Iron Man this time specifically to form the Avengers.

That quiz system was also one of Nick Fury's goals.

"Coulson has told you everything he needed to, right?" Iron Man shrugged and said dismissively.

"Yes, he did tell me, but I'd still like to hear your opinion."

"After all, putting aside your personality flaws, you are a rare genius and may discover something that Coulson has not."

"That's a real shame," Nick Fury said with some regret, but he didn't press the matter further.

He then stood up, bid farewell to Iron Man, and left Stark Tower.

"Tony, why did the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. come to see you? Did something happen?" Pepper Potts, who had been waiting outside for a long time, couldn't help but run over to ask what was going on.

Crossbones immediately understood that Secretary Pierce did not intend to try to turn or subdue Captain America, but rather to mold him into another pure killing tool.

I must say, this is indeed a good idea.

“Sir, he will be even better than the Winter Soldier.” Crossbones smiled expectantly.

"Keep a close eye on the search and rescue team. Once they find Captain America, bring him over immediately! I'll send the Winter Soldier on this mission, and you'll provide full support!"

Minister Pierce made the decision.

"Understood, sir!" Crossbones replied loudly.

Chapter 019 The Clash Between Nick Fury and Iron Man

In reality, Nick Fury didn't have as much confidence and assurance about this search and rescue mission as Pierce and his team mistakenly believed.

Because from beginning to end, the conclusion that Captain America might be frozen in the Arctic Ocean is purely a deduction.

It is a narrow, technologically oriented inference made by a genius scientist who, by naturally rejecting the supernatural, made such a conclusion.

Nick Fury only sent Black Widow to the Arctic Ocean for a search and rescue operation because Coulson's magical deductions could not be verified; that's all.
