Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

[Never Work Overtime]: Although I don't really like working overtime, it seems that this...

[Xia Yan]: Ahem! You're welcome to come watch the match. But if you come to cause trouble, hmph... (clenches fist)

[Daigo, who loves stones]: He's getting serious! ...I'll go!

[Burn, Big Leaf!], [Never Fall Behind], [Never Work Overtime]: +1

【Xia Yan】：...

[Kona, who is about to graduate]: @The most handsome dragon rider, if you want to fight with senior Xia Yan, I'll practice with you first.

Ok.

Kona's mental confusion has worsened again.

But I shouldn't say it.

Xia Yan had no choice but to admit it.

These people who usually seem serious reveal their true nature online.

Actually, many people are like this.

The influence of the internet is truly terrifying.

But he believes that Alola sandshrew and Exeggutor should be of interest to many people.

Those who are interested will take the initiative to find him.

Although he wouldn't sell.

But between friends, there should always be some giving and receiving.

How can pure friendship be described with such a vulgar word as "selling"?

This is called mutual help!

Chapter 67 Alola Pokémon Appearing at the Auction House

The black market in Jiayuan City.

Hunter's Guild Branch.

Although Xia Yan has not officially taken over the management of the Hunter Guild in Jiayuan City, Ms. Q has already made arrangements, so many staff members in the guild actually know him.

Naturally, we dared not be negligent in the slightest.

"Sir, some of the Pokémon you requested are quite rare. If you give us a little time, we might be able to source them from elsewhere, but this is really not enough," the shopkeeper said with an embarrassed smile.

at the same time.

A staff member carrying a tray with nearly ten Poké Balls on it walked over.

"Sir, here are the Pokémon you requested. Clefairy and Jigglypuff are so popular that they're usually snatched up as soon as they appear."

Xia Yan glanced at the plate.

He wanted a wide variety of elves, all sorts of things.

But in reality, he only wanted four of them.

Two Mary Lous, one Blue, and one Mawkwa.

They all share a common characteristic: when Fairy-type energy is abundant, they can awaken Fairy-type abilities.

The reason why the guild staff sent so many items.

It's just to confuse the public.

He didn't want people to associate him with whoever hoarded those Pokémon when the Fairy type was released.

But only four is really a bit few.

Xia Yan frowned slightly.

He knew that the elves he wanted were hard to find.

But I didn't expect it to be so hard to find. Even the Hunter Guild in Jiayuan City doesn't have much in stock.

The Pokémon he wanted, except for Marilyn and Mawile which were slightly cheaper, were all quite expensive, even those that weren't yet awakened Fairy-type.

There's nothing we can do about it.

Because most of these elves that will awaken Fairy-type abilities in the future are quite cute, they are very popular with the children of wealthy families.

Even someone like Blue has many older women who like him.

Their prices have long exceeded the market value that these elves should have, by more than two or three times.

Prices have not only failed to come down in recent years, but have continued to rise.

And when the fairy type awakens.

Once trainers learn about the benefits of Fairy-type Pokémon, they will undoubtedly search for them extensively, causing prices to rise even further, potentially tripling or quadrupling.

Of course, as the fairy type is gradually studied and its popularity slowly fades, the price will definitely come down as well.

But right.

Xia Yan's requirements are not high.

He only makes money at that one specific point in time, and then stops once he's made his profit.

But the problem now is...

Even if he wanted to stock up, these elves were hard to buy and expensive.

Moreover, these Pokémon are more common in the Kanto and Johto regions, and there are not many Pokémon that can be awakened as Fairy-type in the Sinnoh region, which makes it even more difficult to hoard them.

Do we have to make a trip to the Carlos region?

In terms of both the number and variety of Fairy-type Pokémon, the Kalos region has the most.

Whether it's Lady Flower Clean, Fragrance Essence, Fat Sweetie, or Little Diamonds, Keychains, etc.

"However, sir, you've come at just the right time. The black market in Jiayuan City holds auctions every week, and there's one today. There should be quite a few Pokémon there, so you can give it a try."

An auction?

That is indeed a good choice.

However, the number of Pokémon that can be purchased at auctions is bound to be limited.

However, Xia Yan also has some Pokémon to sell, and he can choose to go to the auction to maximize his profits.

He casually picked up a few Poké Balls from the plates, including the four Fairy-type Pokémon that would awaken, and two other Pokémon of moderate value.

"Keep these Pokémon for me next time you get them. If you have the chance, get some from somewhere else and I'll take them all as long as the price isn't too outrageous."

"Ok."

The staff didn't ask any questions; they simply noted it down and followed instructions.

Go back and contact hunter guilds in other cities or even other regions.

Xia Yan is about to become their boss, and they can't afford to offend him.

Leave the Hunter's Guild.

Xia Yan put all the Poké Balls away.

Although doing so may seem troublesome and waste some money.

But it's not a big problem.

You won't lose much money if you resell it.

At most, you'll need to take it back and raise it for a while, consuming some ordinary Pokémon food.

However, doing so can avoid some unnecessary trouble in the future, so this expense is still necessary.

Xia Yan was already very familiar with black market auctions.

Although the black market in the Sinnoh region is more chaotic compared to the black markets in the Kanto and Hoenn regions due to the lack of unified management.

But none of those who can set up auction houses on the black market are simple.

Moreover.

The fact that it's held once a week speaks volumes about the auction house's capabilities.

By handing over the items he wanted to auction to the auction house staff, Xia Yan, in his capacity as a member of the Hunter's Guild, obtained a private room.

While waiting for the auction to begin, Xia Yan checked the private room and then released the little ones.

Animals like Eevee, Latios, and Infernape have never seen an auction before.

So when it came out, people were quite curious.

Looking around.

The auction proceeded smoothly under the direction of a rather composed-looking elderly man.

Well known.

The auction begins by generating buzz and setting the tone for the regular auction.

Therefore, a fierce struggle was inevitable.

The first item up for auction was a Piplup.

The starter Pokémon of the Sinnoh region are relatively rare.

This Piplup seems to have considerable talent and ability, and it has even inherited the very useful move "Feather Dance," which is quite rare.

The final transaction price was not low.

However, Xia Yan's purpose this time was very clear.

He didn't have much money on hand, and he could only get some back after the elves he wanted to sell were auctioned off, so he didn't participate in the bidding at all.

When buying things at auction houses, most items will definitely exceed their market value. Unless you have a specific need for them, there's no need to bid.

The same thing happened in the following rounds.

The product is good.
