Wukongmon is a Digimon based on Sun Wukong from the classic novel "Journey to the West".

According to official information, Wukong Beast was born in the lava of the volcano that started it. And after its birth, it was fitted with a golden headband by Sanzang Beast.

Moreover, Etemon is a combat-type Digimon that awakened its fighting instincts at birth, which also fits the fierce aura described by Sanzomon.

Currently, the volcano, the ferocious aura, and the Three Treasures Beast all match up. It's just unknown whether that volcano is the one that was activated.
