This gave the ape-beast a chance to catch its breath. The ape-beast rubbed its reddened face, its anger surging uncontrollably.

Who is he? He's the local tyrant!

Neither BigDotmon nor MasterGreymon are his match!

When did he get beaten up so badly?!

The ape-like beast roared angrily, reached out and pulled out a microphone, and began to sing with all its might:

"Listen to my song! Rays of love!!"

Even LadyDevimon couldn't withstand the ear-piercing song of Empyrean. She lowered her head, covered her ears with her hands, and knelt on the ground, desperately trying to resist the effects of the heart-shaped beam.

Chapter Thirty-One: The Defeat and Death of the Ape Beast

LadyDevimon's special move, "Stun Whip," releases a powerful electric current that paralyzes the enemy, causing them to fall into a coma.

However, for the ape-beast, although the electric current caused him considerable pain, it was far from enough to numb him.

According to the official description of the Apesmon, its body is covered by a reinforced monkey suit that can withstand all attacks.

LadyDevimon once again transformed her left claw into a spear and charged after Dark Wave.

Faced with the swooping bats, the ape-beast didn't hesitate and flung the Dark Necromancer Orb away.

But this time, LadyDevimon arrived even faster!

While the energies on both sides were still clashing and canceling each other out, she had already rushed over, braving the aftershocks. She paid the price of multiple burns from the energy shockwaves.

But this approach was very effective. LadyDevimon's appearance was unexpected, and even Etemon didn't have time to react.

Empymon has a very strong body, which is its biggest advantage over LadyDevimon.

This spear was transformed from her left hand, and she dared not recklessly continue thrusting it into the ape-beast. If the ape-beast caught her, it would be the same as her being caught, and then the ape-beast would turn the tide again.

However, before retracting it, LadyDevimon didn't forget to inject a large amount of dark energy into Etemon's body, and once again unleashed her ultimate attack:

"Highly poisonous!"

Compared to the arrogant Etemon who called himself the "King of Digimon" in the first season, this Etemon is more aware of his own limitations. Knowing the existence of a host of Ultimate-level Digimon, he wouldn't dare use that title that would attract hatred.

However, the arrogance ingrained in the Digicores of Digimon like Etemon still led him to declare himself king. He was only slightly better than his kind, limiting himself to a specific region.

Even so, Empymon's arrogance still prompted LadyDevimon to rebuke him:

"Don't even think about it! You dare call yourself a king?! You're nothing but a powerful thug! Today, I will take care of you! For me, for BigDotmon, and for all the Digimon you've bullied!"

The ape-beast laughed maniacally and leaped up suddenly:

"Dark Necrosphere in the Sky!"

To be honest, almost every Digimon is a master of witty banter. For example, Wildmon's "Victory of Light" series of moves, and LadyDevimon's slapping move even has a name like "Slap".

The ape-beast was even more outrageous; it simply jumped up and hurled a Dark Necrosphere, and suddenly had a new name—that's quite a feat.

But despite the trash talk, its power is undiminished.

The Ape Beast's attack, the Dark Necrosphere, seemed to have exhausted all of its energy, making it incredibly powerful.

LadyDevimon didn't dare to be careless either. She spread her hands and released her dark energy with all her might. A swarm of small bats flew out from between LadyDevimon's hands.

"How naive!"

A strange smile appeared on the ape-mon's face. It used "Flying Knee Drop" to quickly land back on the ground and charge towards Ladymon.

At this moment, LadyDevimon also noticed something was wrong. The seemingly imposing Dark Necrosphere was easily destroyed by the little bat. It really only looked impressive!

At this moment, Etemon had already approached LadyDevimon, and pink energy was emanating from its feet:

"Accept your fate of defeat! Monkey Kick!"

The true all-out attack from Etemon is this kick; if it hits, LadyDevimon will be finished!

The ape-mon knelt on the ground, muttering to itself. Then, all the data on its body collapsed and dissipated, leaving only a digital egg in place.
