Makise turned on the tap, rinsed the foam off Itsuki's head, handed him a dry towel, wiped his eyes, and then applied shower gel to his body before gently pressing himself against Itsuki: "I'll help Itsuki get clean... I'll clean everything up."

Izuki trembled, her face flushing red: "Makise..."

Makise chuckled softly.

The bathroom was filled with steam, and the orange-red lighting added to its enchanting atmosphere.

Rena had just come out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her head. She sat on the bed, watching TV idly. The TV didn't have a set-top box, and after flipping through several channels, all she saw was static.

"What a lousy hotel! There's not even a TV!" Reina angrily turned off the TV and tossed the remote aside. After looking at her phone for a while and getting bored, she walked over to Yixue.

Yixue was sitting in the chair in front of her, playing on her phone.

Reina became interested and wanted to see what Yixue was playing. She thought to herself, "Hmph, no matter how good she is at studying, she's still just playing on her phone like everyone else."

Reina went over and asked, "What are you looking at?" Upon closer inspection, she found Yixue looking at the photos taken that day. Most of them were photos of Yixue and Yiyue together.

Rena didn't notice anything amiss and muttered, "What's so interesting about the photos?"

Yixue glanced at Lingna, then looked back at her phone and continued looking through the photos.

Reina said, "Why don't you lie in bed and watch it?" She thought Yixue was really strange. Playing on her phone was like studying. She sat up so straight and put her phone on the table to play.

"It's bad for your eyes," Yixue said.

Rena let out a "What does it matter?"

Yixue glanced at Lingnai: "Didn't your father tell you to read books and play on your phone, instead of lying in bed?"

Rena stuck out her tongue: "I already said that." She muttered to herself, "It probably won't have any impact, right?"

Yi Xue looked at the photos in her hand, and when she saw a picture of herself and Yi Yue together, a smile slowly appeared on her face: "If it doesn't affect anything, can't I just listen to Dad?"

Rena whispered, "It's because I feel like it doesn't matter that I don't listen to my dad."

Rena said, "You know Dad is a bit old-fashioned and likes to lecture. It's not that I find him annoying, it's just that I find it a bit tedious after hearing it so many times."

Yixue said, "Isn't that just because you think Dad is annoying?"

Rena said unhappily, "I already said that's not what I meant!" She whispered, "Why would I find Dad annoying?"

Yixue shook her head, put her phone away, and lay back down on the bed.

"Going to bed so early?" Rena asked.

Yixue ignored her.

"Tch." Rena pouted unhappily, plopped down in the seat that Yixue had just been sitting in, and started playing on her phone.

After playing for a while, Rena muttered to herself, "What's the difference between sitting and lying down? Lying down is more comfortable."

Behind her, Yixue lay on the bed, clutching her pillow, utterly listless. The pillow didn't smell like her father.

The next morning.

Izuki knocked on Reina's door.

Yixue opened the door, obediently called out "Daddy," and smiled at Yiyue, looking very happy.

Yi Yue was holding two bags of soy milk and a bag of fried dough sticks and spring rolls.

"I bought breakfast." Yi Yue came in and placed the breakfast on the table. "Come and eat."

Reina was still fast asleep in bed when Yixue closed the door and came over.

"Help me wake Rena up," Izuki said, her hands were oily and she needed to wash them.

After washing her hands in the bathroom, Rena rubbed her eyes and yawned deeply: "Getting up so early, can't you let me sleep a little longer?"

"Eat quickly, we're going to the Stone Forest at nine o'clock later," Yi Yue said.

"Can't we go in the afternoon and stay at the hotel in the morning?" Rena said, dissatisfied.

Yixue said, "Has Dad eaten? Let's eat together."

Yixue forced a smile and nodded with an "Mmm".

Rena finished washing up and ran over, picked up a fried dough stick, and started eating it without even asking Izuki.

"I'm leaving now, you guys take your time eating." Izuki originally wanted to leave, but when she saw the ahoge (cowlick) sticking up on Rena's head from sleeping, she couldn't help but take a wet comb and smooth it out for her.

"Hmm, what are you doing? I'm eating." Rena mumbled while eating.

Yi Yue sighed, "When you get up, straighten your hair yourself. How can this be okay?"

"Okay," Rena replied dismissively.

Yi Yue sighed helplessly, holding back what she wanted to say, and told Yi Xue, "Call me if anything happens."

"Mmm." Yixue nodded obediently.

That made Yi Yue feel relieved, and she patted Yi Xue's head.

Yixue was as docile as a kitten, and maintained her smile even after Yiyue left. When she looked at Lingna, a flash of disgust crossed her face.

Rena asked, "Do you want some spring rolls?" Seeing that Yixue hadn't eaten breakfast yet, Rena couldn't help but ask. Spring rolls are delicious, and she wanted to eat more.

"You eat it," Yixue said coldly, then looked at Lingna happily eating spring rolls, and suddenly smiled as if she had thought of something.

Chapter 124 Toilet

After leaving the hotel, it took another half hour by car to reach the Stone Forest.

The tour guide spoke into a microphone as he walked and gave his introduction.

"We'll be taking a sightseeing bus to the mountains soon. Anyone who needs to use the restroom, hurry back," the tour guide said.

"I'm going to the restroom," Yixue said.

Yi Yue said, "Come back quickly."

Yixue nodded, glanced at Lingna who was standing there playing on her phone, and curled the corners of her mouth.

Soon, Yixue returned from the restroom with two bottles of soda in her hand, one for herself and one for Lingna.

"Is it for me?" Reina looked at Yixue suspiciously, wondering why she was suddenly being so kind.

Yixue smiled, opened the lid, and took a sip. Reina also twisted the lid. The lid was sealed; it hadn't been opened. Reina was relieved. "At least you have a conscience."

"Drink less soda," Yi Yue said.

Makise said, "It's fine to drink it once in a while." Then she said to Yixue, "Why did you bring it for Reina, but not for me and Dad?"

“Daddy doesn’t drink beverages,” Yixue said obediently.

Yi Yue doesn't drink beverages; at most, she drinks milk and freshly squeezed juice.

"And what about me?" Makise asked.

“Dad hasn’t had any either,” Yixue said.

Makise laughed and said, "You only have eyes for your father, not your mother."

Yi Yue smiled helplessly.

Yixue smiled, while Lingna chuckled and said, "So it's a bargain for me." She then took a sip of her cola.

Yixue glanced at Lingna and curled the corners of her lips.

Once on the sightseeing bus, Rena enjoyed the scenery and occasionally sipped her cola. The bottle was almost empty before they even reached their destination.

Yi Yue said, "Why are you drinking so fast? Slow down. What if you need to pee later? There are no toilets over there."

"Okay," Rena said, but her face showed no concern, and she continued to do as she pleased.

Yixue took a sip of her cola. There was still more than half a bottle left; she hadn't drunk much.

Upon arrival at our destination, the tour guide led the way. The path ahead was mountainous and not easy to walk.

Halfway there, Rena's expression changed, and she nudged Izuki's arm.

"What's wrong?" Yi Yue asked.

Rena whispered, "I need to pee."

"What should we do? Didn't I tell you to drink slowly?" Yi Yue's tone was slightly reproachful. Looking at the mountain path ahead, she comforted her, "Why don't you just hold on a little longer? We're almost there. There's a toilet up ahead."

Rena squeezed her legs together, blushing, and said, "I've been holding it in for so long, I just couldn't hold it in anymore. I'm about to pee."

Yi Yue felt a headache coming on. She looked around and pointed to the grove of trees in front of her: "Why don't we go up inside? No one will see us there."

Yixue curled up her lips, watching Lingna unable to resist running to the grove to use the restroom, and curled up her lips as well.

In the morning, she made a point of giving Rena extra spring rolls and fried dough sticks so she could drink more water if she was thirsty. Later, she also bought an extra bottle of cola, so of course she needed to pee now. She had been here before and knew there was no toilet.

Yixue casually asked, "Does Reina have any tissues?"

Yi Yue said, "She should have brought some paper with her."
