The tour guide led everyone to a restaurant and arranged their seats.
Rena had expected a lavish lunch, but instead, they served two plates of steamed buns, followed by a plate of braised pork, then fried fish pieces, then stir-fried bamboo shoots, and finally a bowl of mixed soup.
The dishes were simple and none of them were Rena's favorites.
Especially the braised pork belly, it looked so greasy, with hardly any lean meat. The fat jiggled when I picked it up. I already get carsick and nauseous, and seeing this fat made me feel nauseous and want to vomit.
Rena felt nauseous at the thought, so she avoided looking at the plate of braised pork and focused her attention elsewhere. She picked up a white steamed bun and started eating.
Rena definitely wouldn't eat lean meat, and she also hates bamboo shoots. She tried taking a bite of fried fish, but immediately spat it out, saying, "It's awful."
The fried fish had fish skin inside, which was hard to chew and also had fish bones. The taste was strange, so Rena spat it out and drank the mixed soup instead.
Compared to the others, the mixed soup tasted much better, but Rena didn't like the sour and spicy flavor of the mixed soup, and only drank a few sips before stopping.
Makise didn't like the food much either, and frowned, thinking the food here was really bad.
Yi Yue, on the contrary, ate with great relish. He was very hungry and ate heartily, taking bites of stir-fried bamboo shoots on the left and a piece of braised pork on the right, occasionally drinking soup and chewing on steamed buns.
Yi Xue also ate heartily with Yi Yue, showing no signs of the poor food.
"Moon, can you eat this?" Makise asked, sounding a little unhappy. "I feel like the food here is terrible."
Those around him frowned, clearly thinking the same thing.
The food was bad; this is a common consensus among many people.
After all, they had been on the bus for so long, and it was a bit unreasonable to give them fatty and greasy braised pork belly that made them want to vomit, and to have them chew on steamed buns and dried bamboo shoots. Even the tour guide came out to explain: "Lunch was a bit rushed, there was really no other way, I hope everyone can understand."
Yi Yue comforted her, "Just bear with it, maybe the food will be better tonight."
Makise nodded, resigned to his fate. He scooped up a mouthful of mixed soup and chewed on a steamed bun.
So many people were scooping the mixed soup that it was almost empty, but no one came to refill it.
Seeing Yixue eating with relish, Lingna clicked her tongue and asked, "Yixue, can you really eat this?" She was truly impressed to see Yixue eat a piece of fatty braised pork without batting an eye.
Yixue smiled and said, "If Dad can eat it, then I can eat it too."
Rena glanced at the fatty meat and quickly shook her head: "Anyway, I can't eat it."
……
After finishing your meal, rest for a while.
The tour guide gathered everyone and they boarded the bus one after another. Makise was getting anxious: "Why hasn't Yue come back yet?"
Yi Yue just said she was going out for a bit, and she hasn't come back yet.
"Where's Dad?" Yixue asked.
Rena asked, "Isn't Daddy coming back yet?"
The tour guide got off the bus and asked, "Why aren't you getting on the bus yet?"
Just as Makise was about to explain, Itsuki returned.
"I'm sorry I'm late." Yi Yue was panting heavily, out of breath.
The group quickly got into the car and sat back down.
Makise asked, "Tsuki, where did you go? Why are you so late?"
"I bought some things, so I'm late getting back," Yi Yue said, lifting the bag in her hand.
"Hamburgers?" Makise asked, the bag containing hamburgers, fried chicken, and cola.
Makise asked, "Tsuki, you're back so late, did you go to buy these things?"
"Yes, I'm late," Yi Yue said.
Moved, Makise retorted, "What's the point of buying it? It's not like I can't eat steamed buns."
"Eat up. I even bought Reina's portion. How can you eat so little for lunch?" Itsuki said gently.
Makise gently touched Izuki's cheek, "Tsuki..."
The two got closer and closer, and just then, Rena said, "Did I just hear someone say the word 'hamburger'?"
Rena knelt on the chair, holding onto the backrest, and looked at Makise Itsuki with a grin.
Makise Itsuki immediately separated.
"Cough cough." Yi Yue coughed, her face flushed.
Makise was in a bad mood and glared angrily at Rena.
Rena, still oblivious, laughed and said, "I knew I saw what Dad was holding. Mom, don't try to eat it all by yourself."
Makise gave Rena a disgruntled look and said, "Here you go!" He tossed the whole bag to Rena, but hadn't taken his own yet.
Makise was sulking; Rena had ruined the whole good atmosphere.
Izuki gently patted Makise's leg to comfort her.
"It's all because you spoiled her, Yue," Makise said irritably.
Yiyue smiled helplessly.
Makise leaned close to Itsuki's ear and gently bit it.
"Hmm." Yi Yue shuddered as if she had been electrocuted.
Makise whispered seductively, "I was spoiled by you too, Yue. You have to take full responsibility." She leaned against Yue.
“Mom, I left you some…” Rena held up the bag, saw Makise leaning against Itsuki, and wisely shut her mouth and shrank back. She slowly raised her head, stuck out her tongue at Makise’s rubbing sound, and then turned around.
……
The car finally arrived at its destination.
The tour guide led everyone to see the famous nearby attractions, introducing them one by one through the microphone: "This is the Xu Mo Stele, and this stele was erected by Zhu Yuanzhang during the Ming Dynasty to order his soldiers..." He told interesting and captivating stories about each attraction.
Rena smiled happily, showing her little tiger teeth and making a peace sign as she stood next to the stone tablet and posed for a photo with Itsuki.
I would take a photo at every scenic spot I passed.
As you slowly enter the bustling streets, you see quaint brick and tile houses surrounded by food stalls, with vendors hawking their wares.
"Daddy." Rena blinked, looking at Izuki pleadingly.
"Eat up, order whatever you want," Yi Yue said.
"Yay!" Rena clenched her fist happily and went to a nearby shop to buy snacks.
“I miss it so much, this shop is still here. Back then we were just…” Makise said nostalgically, glancing seductively at Izuki, her face flushing.
Yi Xue looked at the two people gazing at each other with affection, but her face remained completely devoid of a smile.
Sooner or later, my memories with my father will outweigh yours.
……
The dinner was indeed much better, many times more plentiful than lunch.
After dinner, the tour guide led everyone to the hotel. All rooms were double rooms, with one room key for every two people.
"How about Reina shares a room with you, and I share a room with Yixue?" Yiyue suggested, worried that something unexpected might happen that night.
“Moon,” Makise said with a huff.
Yixue said sensibly, "Dad, don't worry, I will take good care of my sister. Call me if anything happens."
“This…” Yi Yue hesitated.
Makise bit her lip as she looked at Izuki.
Izuki had no choice but to say, "Alright." She then told Reina, "Don't wander around at night. Call me if anything happens."
Rena snorted, "I'm not a child anymore."
Still worried, Yi Yue said to Yi Xue, "Keep an eye on Ling Nai."
Yixue nodded obediently.
They each returned to their rooms.
The bathroom was filled with steam. Makise, her face flushed, was wearing pajamas when she whispered in Izuki's ear, "Let's take a bath together, Izuki."
Chapter 123 Sitting Posture
"Mmm." Itsuki blushed slightly and got into the bathtub with Makise.
The bathtub is quite large, easily accommodating two people. The water temperature is just right, and steam is rising from it.
Yi Yue sat in the bathtub, feeling as if she were floating. It felt so good that she couldn't help but let out a soft moan, feeling the fatigue of the day slowly being released. She leaned back against something soft.
Makise wrapped her arms around Itsuki and whispered in Itsuki's ear, "Why don't you turn around, Itsuki?"
Itsuki blushed.
Makise laughed, "Tsuki, why is your face so red? Is the water very hot?" He gently poked Izuki's cheek with his finger.
Itsuki was at a loss.
Makise chuckled and said, "In this respect, Yue is still like a child." She whispered in Yue's ear, "Even though we've been together for so long."
Izuki turned around, her face slightly flushed, and looked at Makise.
Makise said with satisfaction, "Tsuki's reaction is so cute." As she spoke, she applied shampoo to her hands, "Tsuki, turn around, I'll help you clean yourself."
"No need, I can do it myself," Yi Yue said.
“Moon…” Makise said dejectedly.
Yi Yue immediately softened and turned around: "Okay."
"That's more like it."
Makise wet his hands, dampened Itsuki's hair, applied shampoo, and slowly began to massage it.
"You usually wash my hair, Yue, but I've never washed yours before," Makise said with a smile, gently rubbing Yue's head, creating more and more lather.
"Didn't you wash me this time?" Yi Yue said.
