"Yixue, you should eat too." Seeing that Yixue hadn't touched her chopsticks much, Yiyue picked up some food for her.
"Thank you, Daddy," Yixue said obediently, taking small bites of the food that Yiyue had picked up for her.
Yi Yue watched quietly, and the estrangement between the two caused by the graduation dinner seemed to have vanished without a trace.
After finishing their meal, Yi Yue said, "Let's go for a walk in the sports park later."
Reina asked, "Is it okay if we don't go to the sports park?"
"What are you doing at home if you're not going out? Go out and get some exercise." Itsuki pinched Rena's little nose. "If you don't exercise and eat so much, you'll turn into a little fat pig."
"Then you're a big fat pig!" Rena snorted.
Yi Yue asked curiously, "Why?"
Rena argued vehemently, "What else could a little fat pig's father be but a big fat pig?"
"Then you should exercise more, so you don't turn into a little fat pig," Yi Yue said.
Rena stuck out her tongue and imitated a pig's squeal: "Oink oink." After she finished, her face turned slightly red.
"Really." Izuki found it amusing.
Rena smiled playfully.
After finishing your meal, rest for a while.
Yi Yue took out a badminton racket from the cabinet. "It's been a long time since I played. You guys play a good game with me later."
"Hehe, Dad, you should just give up," Rena teased, holding up her little finger. "You're no good at badminton."
"Heh, I'll show you how powerful I am later," Yi Yue said confidently.
Reina pouted and said, "You said the same thing last time, and the time before that. Every time you say the same thing, you still end up getting utterly defeated." She then added, "Dad, you're good at cooking, but badminton... sigh, forget it."
Yi Yue's face hardened: "Nonsense!"
"What nonsense! Daddy always loses. If he had to stick stickers on his face every time he lost a point, there wouldn't be enough stickers on the back of his head!" Reina snorted, then turned to Yixue sitting on the sofa next to her and said, "Yixue, don't you think I'm right?"
Yixue walked to Yiyue's side, hugged his arm, and said, "No, Daddy played very well. I almost lost to Daddy last time."
"Did you hear that!" Yi Yue exclaimed happily.
Yi Xue smiled and stood obediently beside Yi Yue.
Reina scoffed, thinking disdainfully, "Sycophant! Every time she plays ball with Dad, she goes easy on him. Humph, I wouldn't do that!"
Seeing Reina's defiant look, Itsuki laughed and said, "Don't be so stubborn, I'll teach you a lesson later."
“Come on!” Rena scoffed. “I’m afraid Dad doesn’t have the ability.”
"Hey, don't exaggerate." Yi Yue picked up her racket and grabbed her water bottle. "Let's go!"
Author's Note and Essays on Launch
There are so many things I want to say, but when they reach my lips, I don't know what to say.
This book is an old, unfinished project. I stumbled upon it by chance, which was quite unexpected. My writing was immature back then, a rough draft like a detailed outline. Influenced by light novels at the time, my writing style was quirky, and I was trying hard to make it interesting.
I'm not afraid to tell you, back then I was considered a writer of erotic fiction. I laughed as I wrote this.
I've stopped writing erotica. First, it's pointless; I can just fantasize about it occasionally. Second, and most importantly, my kidneys aren't doing so well.
Actually, when I was writing my previous book, "Don't," I planned to finish this one and never touch this kind of slice-of-life writing again.
I'm actually quite passionate at heart. That's how the book "The Chosen One" came about. But this book really hit me hard.
After careful consideration and self-reflection, I realized that my initial setup was flawed, resulting in a slow pace. I don't particularly like setting up characters, rewriting them, or using a stream-of-consciousness style.
It doesn't matter how many people there are, as long as they are alive.
No pre-set rules, just wild imagination.
I remember in elementary school, my Chinese teacher singled out a student and scolded him. She said, "I asked you to write an imaginative essay, and you wrote about hitting a thief. You wrote that you could reach out and hit the thief outside your own window, but the thief couldn't hit you through the glass."
To say this is unscientific is an overstatement; imagination must be based on science, otherwise it is baseless and meaningless.
I disagree. I don't understand science, but I do understand imagination.
Novels can be wildly imaginative, as long as they are grounded in reality to some extent. They can be unrestrained and allow for free-flowing imagination.
I wanted to write novels since I was very young. My biggest impression of Yu Chendong's Tomb of the Gods was that it inspired me to write novels.
I had a lot of fun writing back then, writing on paper again and again with a ballpoint pen. I went through countless boxes of ballpoint pen refills and piles of homework papers.
Unfortunately, I don't know where those first drafts of science homework sheets went. Only seven or eight of them remain, which I'll keep as a memento.
Then came the account "Seeking the Demon," which marked the beginning of my online novel writing career. My first novel was "Ibuki," followed by "Secret," then "Not Dirty," and then "Moonlight."
Then there's the account "Ye Feng".
Looking back, I've only completed one short story of 50,000 words, one novella of 220,000 words, and one novel of nearly 500,000 words, along with countless practice pieces.
I don't like writing long articles. Sometimes I'm surprised that others can easily earn millions.
I actually love short stories. It's a pity I can't write them, I never have the chance.
It's been over a year since we last met, and it's been wonderful to have you all with me.
This is my third novel to be published, and it's the one I most hope will be successful.
My time is running out. I'm eighteen now, an adult, and my family isn't doing well.
I want to prove that I think I can make money by writing. I have a talent for it.
Please help me, everyone.
Also, I'd like to thank my editor, Orange, who also provided me with a lot of help.
Allow me to shamelessly ask for your subscription, votes, and donations.

Chapter 87 Badminton
The sports park is not far from Yiyue's home; it's only a ten-minute walk away.
The stadium was crowded and lively, with elderly women dancing in the square and middle-aged students running on the track.
There are also basketball and volleyball courts next door, where people are working up a sweat.
Yi Yue and the others found an open space.
“Let’s do it here,” Yi Yue said, pointing to a stone on the ground. “Use this as the line. Yi Xue will be the referee. Six out of ten goals will be a win, and if we lose, we’ll have to switch.”
"Okay!" Rena was eager to try. She took out a racket from the bag, coolly put on a white hat, pointed the racket at Izuki, and said, "You still have a long way to go!"
"Uh." Itsuki scratched her cheek awkwardly, the atmosphere becoming slightly awkward. "Echizen Ryoma?"
"Can't you tell?" Rena proudly raised her head.
"I knew it! Why were you wearing a hat so late at night..." Izuki said, "But isn't Ryoma a tennis player?"
"Tennis? Can't I switch to badminton?!" Rena blushed slightly and argued, "Tennis and badminton are pretty much the same!"
"It's clearly much worse."
"I don't care, it's close enough!" Rena exclaimed, blushing, taking off her hat and tossing it aside. "Close enough, close enough!"
"Okay, okay, almost there," Yi Yue reassured her.
Rena's face turned as red as an apple, and she gritted her teeth in annoyance and embarrassment, "That's more like it. You forced me to do this, Dad, so I'm not going to go easy on you!"
"I don't need you to go easy on me. You're making it sound like I'm weak," Yi Yue said.
Rena hummed and picked up the badminton shuttlecock.
Izuki looked intently at Rena, bent down slightly, and gripped her racket tightly.
Rena lost the ball and was about to hit it when she suddenly stopped: "Dad."
"Huh?" Yi Yue exclaimed. She had thought Yi Yue was going to dribble the ball, so she shook her body in preparation to catch it. But then she suddenly stopped. What was she doing?
"How about we make a bet? Otherwise, there's no point in winning against you," Rena said.
"What kind of bet?" Yi Yue asked.
Rena snorted, "I won! Dad, you can let me sleep in tomorrow until I naturally wake up! I don't want to go hiking either!"
"No!" Yi Yue said, "So you were waiting for me here."
Rena stuck out her tongue and provoked him, "Daddy, don't you have any confidence in yourself? Where did your confidence to beat me go? Rua, Daddy's so weak!"
"Trying to provoke me? I'm not that easily fooled! But I agreed anyway." Yi Yue said confidently, "And what if I win?"
"Dad can't possibly win," Rena said smugly, as if victory was in sight.
"Don't make any promises you can't keep!" Yi Yue said.
Rena waved her hand and said, "Alright then. You win. I won't watch TV or touch my phone until the exams are over, okay?" She silently added in her mind, "If I can't play on my phone or watch TV, then I can just read comics, hehehe."
“Okay, it’s a deal,” Yi Yue said.
"It's a deal." Rena said confidently, pretending to say something, then suddenly threw the ball at Izuki, "Daddy, take this!"
Before Yi Yue could react, the ball grazed past him and landed on the ground.
"You're cheating!" Yi Yue said.
"What cheating? This is called all's fair in war!" Rena laughed. "Hehe, Dad, you underestimated us. The adult world is very dangerous, full of deceit and treachery!" She looked triumphantly at Yixue.
