"Are you alright, Tennys?!"
Amidst the howling wind, Thrall, worried that Tanya might have suddenly lost her mind, asked loudly.
"Me? I'm perfectly fine!!! Everyone!! Watch out for impact!!!"
As the Legion airship drew ever closer, Tannis slammed a button on her waist, igniting the last batch of rockets and further accelerating Gaeboar's Fist.
"Take this iron fist!!! The Burning Legion!!!"
59. The Battle of Hyjal - The Infiltrators
"...Hoo...Ha..."
Inside the bridge of the Mothership Doomsday Hand, Arizakun, who had maintained his balance using his seatbelt and magic, gripped the armrests of his seat, his chest heaving violently. The blaring alarms and the frantically flashing red lights on the main control screen clearly told him that his warship was damaged! Damaged by a group of 'weak mortals'!!
"Those who underwent excision!! Report the damage!!!"
"Two channels have been severed, one auxiliary energy line is completely destroyed, all anti-aircraft weapons near the damaged area are malfunctioning, and one of our balancing devices has been displaced due to the shockwave. Because of this, the Doomsday Hand can hardly continue to serve as the teleportation endpoint."
"Surgeons! How much time do we need to repair our warships?"
The Exciter's report further enraged Arizakun; the temporary loss of the mothership's function as a teleportation coordinate rendered the Legion's surprise attack tactics utterly useless. If he couldn't resolve this issue quickly and decisively, Archimonde's wrath would undoubtedly descend upon him soon!
"I immediately arranged for people to go and repair it. I estimate that the overall repair should be completed in three hours at most."
--------------gap----------------------
A huge and powerful metal fist slammed deep into the armor of the Doomsday Hand warship, reaching its interior. Next to the fist, various metal fragments lay scattered on the ground, and some severed wires and pipes emitted a hissing noise, with occasional flashes of electric sparks.
"This is... really exciting..."
Thrall unbuckled his seatbelt and released himself from Gaebogar's Fist, still able to faintly hear the whistling wind in his ears.
"...I must be crazy to have participated in this project..."
Jaina leaned against the wall, retching violently. Riding the Fist of Gaeboar gave her a perfect experience of what airsickness is.
"My original plan was to 'sneak in' alone."
Not feeling too good either, Tannis sat down cross-legged, activated her mechanical assistant, and began releasing reconnaissance robots. Beside her, the Saurfang brothers, armed, vigilantly observed their surroundings.
"You call this 'infiltration'...?"
Jaina, who had recovered a little, looked bewildered.
"Kill everyone, then destroy this warship, and then no one will know I infiltrated, right?"
Tanis's words made Thrall's expression turn strange. Just as the atmosphere became slightly awkward, Broxigar suddenly put his finger to his lips and made a 'shh' gesture. At the same time, his brother Varok also made a few gestures.
Seeing Warlock's gesture, Tannis, who had roughly understood what had happened through her hearing aid, nodded and activated the disguise device, blending the five of them into the surrounding environment.
A few minutes later, some demons with very touching appearances, carrying all sorts of tools, appeared in their field of vision. Clearly, these demons were there to carry out the repair work.
"superior?"
Brox uttered a single word in a low voice.
"superior."
Thrall drew two daggers and stealthily approached one of the demons, while Broxigar and Varok also drew their short weapons and approached the other two demons. Jaina, meanwhile, clasped her hands to her chest, secretly gathering her magic power.
"drink!"
With Jaina's soft shout, a chilling wave of air quickly spread through the demon horde. The unusually concentrated water elementals immobilized all the unfortunate creatures in place. Before the demons could determine the source of the attack, three demons were stabbed in the heart by the orcs.
"&...%&...!!"
A slightly more agile demon yelled and reached for its waist, whereupon a pistol with a strangely shaped blade suddenly appeared at its neck.
Bye-bye~~
Accompanied by Tannis's malicious voice, a splash of demonic blood erupted as the demon she had targeted was slit in the throat by the blade of her pistol.
The moment this demon fell, Tennys used a roll to get close to another demon, knocked it to the ground with a spinning kick, and then slit its throat with her gun blade.
"Is this a self-created close combat technique?"
Jaina, who was using frost magic to control the remaining demons and prevent them from running away, watched with curiosity as the flashes of gunblade light danced between Tannis's waving hands.
"Well... I'm probably the only one in the world who knows this kind of gun-fu..."
Tanis casually shoved the gun into the mouth of yet another unfortunate demon, giving it an extra vent in its neck, and answered in a muffled voice. Jaina, not understanding what Tanis's answer meant, chose not to think about the problem for the time being and continued to focus on controlling the remaining demons.
In less than three minutes, Tannis and her companions had wiped out all the demons who had come to repair the area. Tannis crouched down, put on a mask, and began rummaging through the belongings carried by the demons.
“Miss Tanis, the demons on this ship will soon realize that we have invaded their ship.”
Broxigar, having wiped the demonic blood off the dagger and carefully put it away, spoke in a deep voice.
"I know... so I'm hoping these guys can give me a little surprise... um... maybe that will work..."
Tannis took a roughly shaped metal box from a slightly larger demon, placed it below the mechanical assistant, and tapped the screen a few times. A bunch of data started refreshing on the screen.
"This is?"
Jaina and Thrall huddled together next to Tannis.
"It feels like the maintenance manual for this warship. I'm comparing the things that look like pictures inside with the tunnel model diagrams my robot collected in order to reconstruct the internal tunnel structure of this warship... Ah! There's hope!!"
Before everyone's eyes, a dense network of lines began to appear, gradually forming a network that slowly became three-dimensional.
"Is this the internal passageway of this warship? Where are we now?"
"Here."
Tanya tapped the screen lightly, and a point of light appeared on it to answer Jaina's question.
How do we take down this ship?
"The most reliable method is to destroy its power source, so that the ship has no choice but to sink."
After saying this, Tennys put away the screen.
"Have you deciphered the location of the ship's power source, Miss Tannis?"
Tanis shook her head.
"No, but I have a way to shut it down without finding a power source..."
"What method?"
Sal hurriedly asked.
"Go to the bridge of this ship and seize control of its main computer."
60. The Battle of Hyjal - Breaking into the Bridge
"Tap, tap, tap..."
In the spacious ship's interior passageway, a demon guard patrolled, their heavy, rhythmic footsteps echoing against the metal walls.
Suddenly, a discordant, sharp sound of metal breaking violently interrupted the footsteps of the demon guards. Before the demon guards could determine the source of the sound, the floor beneath their feet was violently ripped open.
"Enemy attack!!!"
The moment the Demon Guard captain uttered that word, Thrall roared and charged through the ground that Tannis had cleaved open with her laser, a warhammer brimming with elemental power slamming down on its head.
"Filthy mortals! How dare you board this warship?!"
The demon guard captain's demon sword blazed with scorching demonic fire as he swung it back to meet Thrall's Doomhammer. The two weapons clashed in the air, sparks illuminating the slightly dim surroundings.
"You are the filthy things! Demons!!"
Broxie roared, brandishing his battle axe as he furiously fought the two demon guards before him. His brother Varok also wielded his battle axe, engaging a demon in a fierce battle.
"Is this what you call the 'shortest route'?"
While Jaina swung her staff to concentrate the power of frost to control or block the demons from using some powerful combat skills, she loudly questioned Tanis, who was happily suppressing the spellcasters in the demon guard patrol with her dual pistols and G3 Predator.
"The shortest line between two points is a straight line! Isn't that right?"
Tennys, firing wildly, didn't even turn her head.
"But that would expose us even faster!!"
"Thrall is the only half-baked stealth fighter among us. Even if I maintain camouflage the entire time, the probability of us sneaking all the way to the bridge undetected is still infinitesimally close to zero... I don't believe the Burning Legion has no experience dealing with stealth devices."
Tanis, who had ripped a large hole in the armor of a demon guard whose arm had been frozen by Jaina, continued to maintain suppressive fire.
"So, rather than being attacked from both sides halfway through, you chose to overturn the table from the very beginning?"
"Yes! At least this way we can choose where we'll be ambushed..."
A demon guard broke through Valok's defenses at the cost of losing an arm in an attempt to intercept Jaina, but before it could unleash its acceleration, one of its legs was sliced in two by Tannis's G3 Predator's high-heat laser. Then, its head was easily taken off by Broxigar, who was standing on its back.
"Look at your useless state, you demons."
Broxicos, still feeling unsatisfied after discovering that the demon he had killed was the last one in the patrol, spat out a mouthful of spittle. Meanwhile, Tannis had already set about getting G3 back in focus. In less than half a minute, another wall was brutally slashed open by Tannis.
"Hurry up!"

"What's going on! Why isn't the alarm all off yet?!"
Alizakun, already troubled by the damage to the warship, looked at the Exciter, who was half-crouched on the control panel, seemingly adjusting something, and his anger intensified.
“Repairing a warship is no easy task, Captain Arizakun.”
Compared to the utterly flustered Arizakun, who was practically scrambling for cover, the Exciter seemed remarkably relaxed. It was Arizakun who demanded the warship jump directly to the battlefield to achieve the desired effect as quickly as possible; it had absolutely nothing to do with the Exciter. Given Archimonde's personality, if his demon engineers could 'repair' the warship as perfectly as possible, he might even be promoted to the new captain...
Just as the one undergoing surgery was having a strange, pleasant dream, Arizakun's roar rang in its ears again.
"Exciter! You piece of trash! One of my patrol teams went missing after patrolling near the damaged area! Are you sure your bunch of idiots didn't just widen the opening?!"
"Arijakun, it seems your anger has clouded your judgment. Do you think I would wantonly damage the Legion's valuable assets like you?"
Although the Exciter was sharp-tongued, it still managed to knock on the communication device and connect to the Demon Repairman's communications.
There was no response, and the team sent to repair the warship also disappeared.
