“Hey, watch your mouth! Getting yelled at by those damn Mexicans all day isn’t any better, you know!” Moore said sternly to T-boy, gun in hand. “You think I’ll listen to you? No way! Kid! Of course not!”

"'How could that be!' Do you have a problem with me?" T-boy shouted angrily at Mo'er.

"T-boy, let it go!" Morales advised, trying to calm things down.

"No way!" T-boy waved his hand at Morales.

“Forget it, there’s no need!” Morales continued to persuade. “Morales, let’s stop here, okay? We’ve had enough trouble already!”

Rick was confused by the argument and looked at Glenn with a puzzled expression. Glenn waved his hand, signaling Rick not to get involved.

"You want to know what I have to say about you?" Moore asked T-boy.

“Yes!” T-boy said without backing down.

“Then I’ll be blunt! Mr. Rap!” Moore said menacingly to T-boy, “I don’t like niggers yelling in front of me!”

"Go to hell!" T-boy threw a left hook at Moore.

Moore dodged T-boy's punch and slammed the butt of his gun into T-boy's face! T-boy nearly fell backward, staggering backward. Moore pressed his advantage, and before T-boy could regain his footing, he punched him in the face again. Rick, driven by a sense of justice, stepped forward to pull Moore away, but Moore turned and punched him to the ground.

"That's enough, Moore! Stop fighting!"

"That's enough, stop fighting!"

Moore continued to beat T-boy, while the crowd tried to persuade him, but no one dared to approach.

Moore kicked T-boy in the chest, sending him staggering backward, and then punched him in the face. T-boy was knocked to the side, his head hitting a large pipe next to him, before collapsing completely to the ground.

"Stop, Mor! You'll break him!" Andrea cried out anxiously.

Mo'er seemed not to hear, kicking T-boy hard in the ribs. Then he straddled T-boy, twisting T-boy's collar with his left hand and punching T-boy's head and face hard with his right fist.

"Moore, stop fooling around!"

Morales tried to pull Mor away, but Mor elbowed him in the side, forcing him to back away while clutching his ribs.

The situation is out of control! (To be continued...)

Chapter 180 Establishing Authority

"Stop! Dixon! Stop!"

"Stop hitting him! Dixon!"

Moore seemed not to hear him, and instead quickly drew a pistol from his waist and pointed it at T-boy's head. T-boy stared at the muzzle in terror, not daring to move!

"No! No! No! Please!" Andrea cried out in fear.

In that instant, Moore almost pulled the trigger. He stared at T-boy, panting, and seeing the fear in T-boy's eyes, he finally realized that T-boy's last thought of resistance and revenge had disappeared, and only then did he change his mind.

Mo'er glared at the others and spat forcefully on T-Zai.

"Fine!" He released T-shirt's collar and roughly squeezed T-shirt's chest. "Sure thing!"

"Then let's have a little meeting!" Moore stood up, and the people next to him quickly pulled T-shirt away from Moore's feet.

"Let's decide who will be the leader!" he shouted to the original team members.

“I’ll vote for myself! What about you?” Moore threatened menacingly. “We’ll vote too.”

"Raise your hands if you want to vote!" Moore pointed his gun subtly at the group, slowly raising his left hand. "Does everyone agree? Hmm?"

"Hurry up! Vote!" Moore urged.

Morales was the first to yield, slowly raising his right hand.

"Don't do this!" Andrea said to Morales with displeasure.

"You all agree? Hmm?" Moore grinned smugly.

Glenn reluctantly raised his right hand, Jacques glared at Moore, raised his left hand and gave him the middle finger, and Andrea gritted her teeth and reluctantly raised her hand as the third person to do so.

“Very good! Excellent! Now I’m in charge! Right?” Moore confirmed one last time. “Does anyone have any objections?”

"How ridiculous!" This was said by Jie Liang, who had remained aloof and uninvolved in their affairs, with a mocking smile as the matter was about to be settled.

"Where did you come from?" Moore was furious and turned around, pointing his gun at Jie Liang.

“Listen to me, you idiot! Put down that gun, it won’t help you!” Jie Liang mocked, clearly his former personality was slowly awakening.

"Hahahaha!" Moore burst into maniacal laughter. "Did you hear that? He's threatening me! A defenseless idiot! He's threatening me! Making me put down my gun!"

“What if I say no?” Moore’s smile vanished, his face hardening. “Are you going to use your kung fu to deal with my bullets?”

"Look here." Jie Liang smiled and pulled open his shirt, revealing an M9 tucked into his waistband. "Isn't this gun beautiful?"

"Don't move, kid!" Seeing the gun, Moore became alert and aimed his gun at Sue.

Seeing this, Rick also drew his gun and pointed it at Moore.

"Hahaha!" Jie Liang laughed loudly. "I told you, you idiot, your gun won't help you!"

Mo's eyes flashed with a fierce light, as if he might pull the trigger at any moment.

"Look at this!" Akira held up his empty right hand. "Look closely!"

Suddenly, Jie Liang's hand moved in a blur as he drew his M9 from his waist with incredible speed, raised his hand, and fired!

Moore watched all of this. He wanted to pull the trigger, but time seemed to stand still. No matter how hard he tried, his finger could only pull the trigger at a speed that was almost imperceptible.

It's not that he's too slow, it's that Akabane is too fast!

With a loud "bang!", the gun in Moore's hand was knocked away. He could only scream and clutch his right hand.

In the blink of an eye, only a fraction of a second had passed, and their eyes had barely caught the blurry movement of Jie Liang's right hand when the gunshot rang out. The bullet, invisible to the average eye, was flung from the barrel, tracing a mysterious trajectory before entering the muzzle of Mohr's pistol! The bullet, which Mohr had struggled to fire, was forced to explode within the chamber!

The gun was already back in Jie Liang's waistband, and the scene was deathly silent. Except for Rick and Glenn, everyone else stared at Jie Liang with a mixture of astonishment and fear.

“I told you, your gun won’t help you!” Jie Liang said solemnly to Moore. “I don’t like people showing off their weapons in front of me! Understand?”

"Alright, kid! You win this round! But I'll get my revenge sooner or later!" Moore said through gritted teeth.

"Is that so?" Jie Liang winked at Rick.

Rick, who could no longer contain himself, pulled out handcuffs and walked toward Moore.

"What are you going to do?" Moore covered his hands and backed away warily.

“Behave yourself, Mor!” Jie Liang warned. “Don’t you want me to do something?”

“How could you do this? You have no right to do this!” Moore said, dissatisfied.

Rick handcuffed Moore's injured right hand, then fastened the other end of the handcuffs to a long bolt securing a nearby pipe. Next, he took some medicine from Moore's jacket pocket and threw it out of the building.

“Oh no, that’s my private property!” Moore said angrily to Jie Liang. “What do you want? To kill me? Or to make us all listen to you?”

"No. I just think you need to calm down! Everyone here clearly agrees with me!" Jie Liang smiled innocently. "We're still in danger! At times like these, everyone's opinion and everyone's strength are important! It's not about who has the biggest fist to command others!"

After saying that, Jie Liang ignored Mo Er and turned to walk to the edge of the rooftop, giving those people time to calm down. He, too, needed to think about the path he would take next.

Rick is not suited to lead this group. He has limited intelligence, is indecisive, lacks self-confidence and trust in others, is blindly soft-hearted and selfish, and his decisions will only bring misfortune to himself and others! Having already reunited with the characters from the original film through Rick, it is now Akira's turn to take the lead. However, he does not need to follow the original plot, so he must make some changes.

A rumble of thunder came from the sky; it was about to rain.

Glenn sat on the pipe in a daze, Morales was chatting with Rick, Andrea and Jacqueline were watching the walkers on the street below, and T-boy, who had been beaten up, sat on the ground and continued to adjust the radio.

"How's the signal?" Morales asked T-boy.

“Just like Dixon’s head—it’s terribly crippled!” T-boy replied resentfully.

The locked-up Mo'er gave T-boy the middle finger.

“Keep trying!” Rick said to T-boy.

“Why? Even if we make contact—there’s nothing they can do!” Andrina said to Rick in despair. “It’s pointless!”

"The priority is to get out of this city. There's no such thing as a safe haven! Don't dream about it," Morales told Rick.

“Andrina is right, we have to rely on ourselves, we have to find our own way out!” Rick said to the others.

"Good luck," Moore said, pouring cold water on the idea. "As far as I know, this part of the city isn't very safe."

“Right, sweetheart!” Moore said to Andrina, who was packing her luggage. “Friend, can you help me unlock these handcuffs? We need to find a place to live properly; none of us want to die!”

Andrina looked at Mohr with an incredulous expression.

"I'd rather die!"

"Okay, I get it, so you just want to live!" Moore said dejectedly.

“The streets are impassable, there are too many walkers,” Morales told Rick.

"Why didn't they start fighting amongst themselves?" Jie Liang suddenly interjected.

"Who? A walker?" Rick asked in confusion.

“Right, since they’re so hungry, why don’t they eat other zombies?” Jie Liang continued to prompt.

“Smell! It’s smell!” Gerens said matter-of-factly.

“They only eat live creatures, fresh meat!” Andrea added. “The walkers all smell of rotting corpses, so they won’t attack each other!”

“Then things will be simple!” Jie Liang said easily. “There are two dead zombies in the alley downstairs. Drag them in, gut them, and get them covered in their filth, blood, rotting fluids, and entrails… Let me make it clear, I’m only responsible for giving ideas!”

"Oh, this is disgusting," Jacques said, unable to bear it any longer.

"Maybe it will work." Rick was somewhat tempted.

"There are two more alive in the alley down there. Once you've taken care of them, go test them on Rick. If that doesn't work—trust my marksmanship!" Jie Liang encouraged Rick with a smile. "See that construction site over there? There are trucks! Truck drivers usually keep their keys together! Two of you go out, sneak to the site, get two trucks—one to distract the walkers, and one to pick us up. With my cover, it'll be easy and fun!" (To be continued...)

Chapter 181 Subduing Mor

After giving his suggestion, Jie Liang went off to admire the scenery, leaving the group to decide what to do.

"That's disgusting, I absolutely won't do it!" Andrea voted against it, her face showing her utter disapproval.

Morales, T-boy, Glenn, and Jacqueline all expressed their opposition to the plan, so Ryan proposed the sewer solution, just like in the original movie, and the group followed suit.

Jie Liang knew they would ultimately follow his plan, as it offered the highest level of security, albeit a somewhat nauseating one. Time was running out; the zombies would soon smash through the department store's first door, and the shadow of death loomed over the group.

Only Jie Liang, T-Zai, and Mo Er remained on the rooftop. T-Zai, who had been badly beaten, leaned against the rooftop's protective wall, adjusting his walkie-talkie, while Mo Er was handcuffed to a pipe and doing nothing.

Actually, Moore wasn't a bad person; he just didn't know how to get along with people.
