Chapter 141 William Parken

Although Zhang Zhongyi escaped from the underground headquarters in Tokyo's Raccoon City and did not become a test subject for the Pursuer Project, his mood remained heavy. After this period of understanding, he discovered that this world was so unpredictable and mysterious.

He understands that Umbrella Corporation is no good company; they will likely become, like Spence, test subjects for the new plan.

Zhang Zhongyi certainly didn't expect Umbrella Corporation to let them leave unscathed. His immediate hope was that, having been injected with the T-virus, he could fuse with it and become a new kind of human like Alice. In his previous life, Zhang Zhongyi had cultivated demonic techniques, and now, when he reactivated those techniques, he would definitely maintain his will to prevent the T-virus from corrupting him. Zhang Zhongyi stared at them for a moment, then Dr. William gestured for Zhang Zhongyi to sit down. His voice, coming through the loudspeaker, was very clear: "Please sit down. We have a few questions for you."

After Zhang Zhongyi sat down, Dr. William and Wesker also took their seats. Dr. William said calmly, "I am William Parken, you can call me Dr. William. I am also the director of the Tokyo Research Center."

"Of course, I just reported this." Zhang Zhongyi knew that the identification documents he possessed were what gave him temporary peace of mind. This was all he could do for now. Chapter 143 Train Incident

As another bolt of lightning streaked across the dark night sky, illuminating the deepest part of the Raccoon City forest, a train carrying Umbrella executives roared past in the pouring rain, its wheels clattering against the tracks, perfectly complementing the thunder and lightning. No one noticed the two strange young men at the foot of the mountain outside the train, watching everything with cold smiles in the downpour.

“Mr. Marcus, I hope you can join the Hydra Organization. We have a well-organized structure. This way, we can find the weaknesses of the Umbrella Corporation and defeat them,” suggested the man next to James Marcus, who appeared to be wearing a red skull mask.

“Mr. Schmidt, I can handle Umbrella Corporation. It’s said that your spy once infiltrated them to retrieve the T virus, but unfortunately, he was captured by Umbrella Corporation.” Marcus said sarcastically, looking at Red Skull.

“No, Mr. Marcus, this was just an accident,” Red Skull said, clearly frustrated by his failed espionage attempt.

“Alright, Mr. Schmidt, we’re still partners. Now let the killing begin.” Marcus commanded his army of leeches to crawl toward the train; his goal was to destroy the Umbrella Corporation.

"Is it raining?" A passenger next to him felt a noise above him and looked out of the carriage in confusion.

"What are these things?" The passenger turned around and saw many black, leech-like creatures, each the size of a fist, bursting through the train window. Before anyone else could react, the carriage was surrounded. The battle was over before it even began.

I sat in the office waiting for a long time, but Rebecca and the captain's group still hadn't returned. I couldn't help but look at my watch again. "What's going on? Half an hour has passed."

Zhang Zhongyi eventually followed Wesker's orders and went to the Raccoon City Police Department, which was also under Wesker's control of the Alpha Squad.

“This is Matt Addison. He used to be a member of the Bulava Squad, but something went wrong. Now he’s joined our Alpha Squad.” Richard, the crew-cut white man, handed a file to Enrique.

“Matt Addison, from Nevada. He has completed numerous missions flawlessly with almost no mistakes.” Enrique looked at Zhang Zhongyi’s file with satisfaction and smiled, “He is indeed qualified to join Alpha Team. "Rebecca, be careful not to get bitten by those leeches," Zhang Zhongyi warned expressionlessly. Rebecca nodded knowingly, indicating that she understood.

As Zhang Zhongyi spoke, another group of leeches hopped in through the window. The leeches entered without hindrance. As soon as they entered, they pounced on Zhang Zhongyi. Rebecca and Zhang Zhongyi each possessed an M4A1 assault rifle, but each only had three magazines, totaling a mere ninety rounds. However, they were surrounded by over five hundred leeches. Zhang Zhongyi emptied his magazine, temporarily resolving the encirclement.

“We’re trapped,” Zhang Zhongyi said calmly.

Rebecca glanced at a breach not far ahead and shouted, "We have to get back into the carriage, inside!" The two of them ran towards the breach. Zhang Zhongyi ran very fast; the leeches didn't even have time to attack. His physical abilities, enhanced by the T-virus, had greatly improved. The two of them reached the second level of the second carriage.

There were no leeches inside the carriage; it was completely quiet. But as soon as I got off, I discovered many corpses on the ground, bitten by leeches. Clearly, it was more dangerous here than outside.

The only dangerous thing here is the pile of corpses; the T-virus's ability to resurrect the dead is very powerful. The resurrected zombies still have fighting capabilities.

At the same moment, Rebecca behind her exclaimed in horror, "The corpse... the corpse is getting up, the corpse is getting up!"
