"So, Mr. Donald, does that mean you'll need to go to the next world in a while? That really surprises me. Everything you've done is incredible, something I can't even imagine," Alexander said admiringly. He compared himself to the world and realized that he himself would definitely have died and wouldn't have fared so well.

"Then, Mr. Donas, what do you need me to do?" Alexander's attitude became somewhat respectful at this moment. Tang Tian and Deadpool's strength was one aspect, but other matters made Alexander even more aware of what he should do, and Tang Tian's divine kingdom was about to be established.

"Actually, it's very simple. I need your blood. I've almost done it all. As long as I have enough strength, I can accomplish everything I need to do," Tang Tian said calmly. He was about to organize everything in the colony and establish his own divine kingdom by merging several planes.

“Okay, in that case, I will try my best to help Mr. Donas.” Alexander said seriously. He was already considering a complete cooperation with Tang Tian. This was not a request, but something he felt he should do.

“Very good, thank you, Mr. Alexander. I think we will cooperate well. The werewolves and vampires have been organized into the Dark Templars by me. During this time, you need to unify the human forces. At that time, I will merge multiple planes together.” Tang Tian said calmly, but it surprised everyone around him. They did not expect Tang Tian’s plan to be so fast, which meant that they were about to become members of the God Kingdom.

“Yes, I will, Mr. Donald. I will also offer my blood; I think you still need it,” Alexander said calmly, though he seemed pleased.

Chapter 586 The Collapsing World (1)

In the Marvel universe, the sky was dark, as if rain was about to fall. People wandered aimlessly through the streets when suddenly two figures appeared in the distance, observing everything. In some areas, the infection had spread completely, posing a tremendous danger, and they were powerless to stop it.

A few days before the outbreak, Pete in Los Angeles felt like he was submerged in water, and then suddenly his head emerged from the water into another world. He slowly opened his eyes and saw a middle-aged woman standing in front of him. He was somewhat puzzled as he noticed the difference.

"Pete, wake up!" the woman shouted. "Okay, Mom, stop calling, I'm awake..." Pete turned over.

"Then why don't you get up and wash the water off your face? It's already noon, aren't you going to work in the garage?" the woman nagged incessantly.

"Is there water on my face?" Pete touched his face and found it was indeed covered in water, as were the pillow. "I splashed it on you, since you wouldn't wake up..." the woman said with a smile.

"Isn't today Sunday? I still have to go to work?" Pete said helplessly as he slowly got up.

"Even if you don't have to go to work, you shouldn't get up this late," Mom continued nagging. Then, picking up a handbag, she said to Pete, "Pete, I'm going to buy some vegetables and beef. How about a nice dinner tonight?"

“Okay, Mom, you go ahead. I’m going to Atlanta later; my friends are there,” Pete said admiringly as he brushed his teeth.

After washing up, Pete grabbed his baseball cap and went out. He walked from his house toward Atlanta as usual, where one of his good friends was. Although he had done many funny things, the proudest of which was when they were doing a chemistry experiment at his house and accidentally caused an explosion—a minor mishap, of course.

"Huh? Nobody's home." Pete knocked on the Calleter's door, but there seemed to be no response.

“Okay, let’s go check out the garage!” Pete walked toward the garage where he worked, which wasn’t far from the Carlett’s house.

Pete looked around, thinking to himself, "There are so few people on the streets these past few days, and everyone seems a bit off. It's really strange. And all this zombie news doesn't need to be so mysterious. Besides, this world has so many superheroes; things that seem impossible are truly astonishing."

Pete was still some distance from the garage when he spotted a familiar figure wearing a hat backwards.

"Hey buddy, Callette!" Pete called out from a distance.

"You're finally here, kid! I've been waiting for you for ages! My friend." Kallett saw him and walked over.

“Okay, what’s the plan for today? Shall we build another homemade bumper car and lawnmower combo, and then let it cut 90% of your body?!” Pete joked with a laugh.

"Go to hell, Pete! Remember when we shot down the crows? Your neighbor called the police, and they actually used tear gas on us. I burst out laughing when I saw your face back then, and I can still see it in my mind!" Carlett and Pete recounted each other's embarrassing moments.

"How about we carry out a zombie operation this time?" Pete suggested. "You mean the zombie outbreak that's causing such a stir right now?" Kallet asked casually, showing interest. This was something Tang hadn't expected either.

“I even dreamt last night that you and I were blowing up zombies!” Pete said with a smile.

“That sounds interesting. So what are you planning to do?” Kallett shook his head and said with a smile.

"I haven't really thought about it either, but we could do this: the two of us would take two baseball bats, treat each other like zombies, and fight each other, how about that? Haha!" Pete offered a rather unreliable suggestion.

"Wait, Pete, look at that old man next to the garage!" Carlett reminded Pete, who was still laughing.

“Nothing?!” Pete looked at the old man that Carret had mentioned. The old man was wearing a gray jacket, leaning against the wall with his face turned towards it.

“Take a closer look at him, he looks just like one of those zombies in the horror movie we watched the other day!” Kallett said with great interest, oblivious to the danger, as he looked at the infected zombie.

"Cough." A mouthful of blood splattered on the red garage door. Although both were red, it was still very conspicuous.

“Uh.” Pete was speechless, then excitedly said, “Callett, come with me upstairs and take a look!” “He’s a zombie.” Callett exclaimed in surprise.

“Well, you didn’t seem this scared when we encountered the zombies.” Pete smiled at Callet and walked toward the garage.

"Hey, are you alright?" Pete walked over and asked, but the old man didn't respond at all.

"Hey, are you alright?" Pete reached out to put his hand on the old man's shoulder.

The old man suddenly turned his head and looked at Pete, a hint of bloodshot clearly visible in his eyes. Pete was startled, and his hand recoiled as if burned. The old man's hand suddenly grabbed Pete's clothes and held on tightly.

“Pete, I told you not to mess with them… We still need to get out of here!… Come with me!” Kallet, having also noticed the problem, said from the side.

“Kallet, do you remember what I said about the zombie operation?” Pete turned around and asked. “What?” Karlet asked, puzzled.

“Get the crowbar from the emergency kit next to our garage door, I need it,” Pete said with a smile. “Okay!” Carret immediately fetched it.

Blood was dripping from the old man's mouth. Suddenly, as if he had realized something, he lashed out at Pete! "Give me the crowbar!" Pete shouted.

With a "clang," Pete swung the crowbar hard at the zombie's abdomen. The old man took two steps back, then lunged forward again.

"Kallet, run! That's a zombie! Run, or we'll be in danger!" Pete shouted in terror. The two quickly ran until they could no longer see the figure.

“Okay, Callet, what’s your plan?” Pete asked, taking a breath.

"Pack your bags and go on a trip. Because of this awful zombie apocalypse. Pete, I have a feeling that a war between humans and zombies is about to begin here! Superheroes are no longer able to stop it, the world is in danger." Kallet was also panting heavily.

“Okay, I’d like that too. Maybe we can do it together.” Pete said, turning and walking away.

"Where are you going?" Kallet asked. "To see my mom, and then pack my things!" Pete replied. Pete didn't know that this was the last time he would go home, and perhaps the last time he would see Kallet—or perhaps, of course. The main Marvel universe was gradually heading towards destruction, and nothing could stop it; even the arrival of Thor and Loki didn't change that.

Everything in the main Marvel universe is gradually being destroyed. It's all so unforgettable. This world had great potential, but unfortunately, there's nothing more that can be done about it.

Chapter 587 The Collapsing World (2)

When he got home, Pete opened the door and called out, "Mom! I'm here." No one answered, even though he called out many times.

Pete waited until evening, but he still didn't see his mother.

"Call the police!" Pete seemed to have made up his mind as he dialed the number. The line was dead; he couldn't get through.

"I have to go find Carlett!" Pete immediately ran to Carlett's house.

The door to Carlett's house was ajar. Pete carefully opened it, only to find it strangely empty.

"What happened? My God, where did you put Kallet?" Pete jumped around in Kallet's house, clutching his head.

Many similar incidents have occurred. The changes in the world have exceeded everyone's imagination. The escalating infection caught many superheroes off guard, causing them to unexpectedly turn into zombies. As the number of these creatures increases, the world becomes increasingly dangerous.

The same thing happened in the same school. If the school was the most affected by this infection, it was the school. As things stand, half of the students in the Black high school will not be coming to class, including the upperclassmen who will be moving up to college. This is giving the school leaders a real headache.

However, there was one exception: the group of people on the playground were still practicing baseball.

At the far end of the playground, a middle-aged man was watching them.

The man clapped his hands, signaling them to stop. The boys stopped training and walked up to him.

"Coach, what's wrong?" one of the boys asked.

"I'm quite satisfied with your performance today. I hope you can keep it up and prepare for next week's match. Also, I hope you won't be careless during training. I just saw a few people staring blankly at the ball flying towards them. Those are idiots, you know?"

"Coach, I...I might not come tomorrow," a boy nearby said.

"Why?" the man asked directly. "Because of this infectious disease, my parents won't let me go out. I had to beg to come today."

“Okay, I won’t force you, but you have to come back to training when this flu is over, you know?” Okay, then a few more boys echoed the same sentiment.

“Principal, I can’t take it anymore! Two-thirds of my baseball team have stopped coming! Maybe resigning or staying here won’t make much difference. Why are you still allowing students to take leave? It seems many teachers have asked you this question, right?”

The coach from earlier arrived at the principal's office. "Gerald, don't you think that Hydra's release of the biological missile and their claim of the flu to the public was just a hoax?" The principal asked, his back to Gerald, looking out the window at the school.

“Even if it’s not the flu, it’s just a common infectious disease at most,” Gerard said with a smile. “No, can’t you see? This might be the end of humanity,” the principal said worriedly.

"The end of the world? You mean?" Gerard asked, puzzled. "You're a college student, you should know a little about biology, even if you're a sports coach," the principal said, his hands behind his back.

“If this were a common infectious disease, Umbrella and the army wouldn’t have started locking down this area. Anyone can see that,” the principal added.

"Has Umbrella and the army started the blockade?" Gerard asked, as if he knew nothing.

"Those so-called experts initially thought this flu infection was nothing serious. Later they became aware of it, but it was too late. They're still deceiving the public!" The principal became increasingly agitated.

They had no idea that the military would be unable to recover within days, and the same was true for the Umbrella Corporation; such a dangerous situation was something they had not anticipated.

“Gerald, I urge you to leave this city as soon as possible! Otherwise, we might all die here. The children are innocent too, so they need to ask for leave, and I have agreed,” the headmaster said with a sigh.

"Principal, we should issue a notice immediately and make sure all the students go!" Gerard said hastily.

"Ha, I did think about it, but many parents and students thought it was just the flu, which is ridiculous," the principal said with a self-deprecating laugh.

“Regardless of whether they think it’s just the flu, we should force them to stay home; it’s safer at home than at school,” Gerard suggested.

"Alright, I'll consider your suggestion. I still have some things to think about. You can go now!" The principal waved his hand. It wasn't that he didn't want to, but he had no choice. Otherwise, he might have done it.

“Hmm,” Gerard said, turning and leaving the principal’s office.

As soon as he left the office, Gerard fell into deep thought, wondering how to tell the students how to evacuate and how to face the disaster.

"Ouch!" A sharp female voice interrupted his thoughts, and at the same time he felt something hit him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Gerard realized he had bumped into someone while lost in thought, and looked up to say to the person who had bumped into him. It was a teacher. Her expression looked very strange. Gerard didn't think much of it; he didn't know that the person had already been infected.

He then lowered his head and fell into deep thought. But as soon as he looked down, he saw bright red—blood.

"Huh? Wait a minute!" Gerard realized something was wrong. He immediately turned and ran towards the teacher, knowing that the person might have been infected.

"Hey! Teacher, wait a minute!" Gerard shouted as he ran. "What's wrong?" the teacher asked softly, covering his mouth.

Gerard pointed to himself and asked, "Are you feeling unwell?" Gerard had heard many rumors about the infection, and now he became alert. "Nothing, nothing," the teacher tried to escape Gerard's questioning.

"Wait!" Gerard blocked the teacher's path. "Are you infected?" Gerard asked bluntly.

"I didn't leave!" the teacher cried, growing increasingly frantic. "Explain yourself!"

"Get away from me!!!" the teacher shouted hoarsely. She was about to mutate; the types of bio-missiles were numerous, and they had basically infected everyone—something no one else could have imagined.

Gerard paused for a moment, and the female teacher lowered her head.

Suddenly, the female teacher glanced at Gerard. "That's strange, she seems conscious?" Gerard thought. In his mind, infected people should be unconscious. Or perhaps she wasn't fully infected; there were many possibilities, things no one else could have considered. The infection was escalating, making the world increasingly dangerous, leaving many superheroes helpless.

Chapter 588 The Collapsing World (3)

"Gerald, what's wrong?" The principal, who had come out of his office, saw this scene and asked Gerard with a puzzled look. Clearly, he didn't know what was going on, nor how to explain it.

"She's a zombie, don't come any closer!" Gerard yelled at the principal, though he was almost suffocating.

Gerard knew he had to rely on himself now. He suddenly flipped his hand, loosening the grip that was suffocating him, and then kicked the zombie away, sending it crashing into the wall.

Gerard immediately ran to the sports equipment room, grabbed a baseball bat, and turned to see the zombies rushing towards him from not far away.

"Today is your end!" Gerard aimed at the head of the approaching zombie, just like when he hit a home run back in college. Even though he injured his knee at the end of that game and had to go back to high school.
