When everyone saw that Dr. Bruce Banner had been hit by gamma rays, they panicked and frantically tried to cut off the power. Some sent people to inform General Ross, while others went into the laboratory to check on Dr. Bruce Banner's condition.

Normally, being hit head-on by gamma rays would kill any human being. However, this incident was unusual. Gamma rays could have killed Bruce Banner, but because Bruce Banner had previously used his self-developed super serum on himself, the super serum underwent unpredictable changes under the influence of the gamma rays. Dr. Bruce Banner's blood cells rapidly turned green, and after letting out a painful howl, he transformed into a green giant.

After a struggle, the Green Giant finally broke free from the military's encirclement and was stopped by Adam in a forest on the American border.

Having completely lost his humanity, the Hulk was naturally angered when Adam stopped him. This anger made him even stronger, so the Hulk punched Adam without hesitation, and Adam, wanting to test the Hulk's strength, also threw a punch.

With a loud bang, Adam was pinned to the ground by the Hulk's punch. The Hulk was also forced back several steps by Adam's force, but Adam knew he had lost the first contest of strength. However, although he was slightly inferior to the Hulk in strength, he was not without other tricks up his sleeve.

Adam leaped from the ground and landed in front of the Hulk, punching him in the face. The Hulk roared in fury, trying to swat Adam away, but Adam wasn't about to test his strength again. Quickly dodging the attack, Adam instantly appeared behind the Hulk and kicked him to the ground.

Adam kicked the Hulk in the neck, sending him crashing to the ground with a thud. The Hulk didn't get up again. Adam looked at him and said, "Heh, you may be stronger, but your defense is lacking." He then slowly descended to the ground to check on the Hulk's condition.

Just then, the Hulk suddenly turned around and slapped Adam away, sending him flying a great distance. Then, he excitedly patted his chest like a gorilla.

After being ambushed and sent flying by the Hulk, Adam coughed a few times to spit out the dirt in his mouth. Somewhat annoyed, he said, "Damn it, saying I was unconscious? If I was unconscious, how could I remember to feign unconsciousness and launch a sneak attack? Hmph, you green gorilla. Aren't you celebrating too soon!" With that, he leaped into the air and slammed into the Hulk's stomach, then straddled the Hulk and began to beat him mercilessly.

After fighting for nearly ten minutes, the Hulk's body suddenly shuddered. Then he slowly shrank, finally becoming a naked man.

Adam saw this and immediately flew up, saying, "Damn. Luckily no one saw it, otherwise my reputation would have been ruined."

Adam hovered in mid-air, sizing up the person in front of him. The person seemed somewhat familiar, but he worried that he couldn't remember him. So he asked Athena, "Athena, search for information about this person, Yixi."

Athena replied, "Yes, Master, please wait a moment. Hmm, we've found him. His name is Bruce Banner, yes."

Adam quickly stopped Athena, saying, "Alright, I know who he is. I met him once before, at a discussion hosted by Mr. Norman Osborn. I remember Norman Osborn seemed quite interested in him, but unfortunately, he refused. It seems he rejected Norman Osborn because he was also researching the super serum."

After hearing this, Athena said, "That's not the case. I saw in the information that Dr. Bruce Banner's girlfriend is the person in charge of the military's Super Serum program, General Ross. I think that's probably why he refused."

Adam said, "Perhaps, but what's certain now is that the Super Serum program has run into trouble. No wonder my father was always reluctant to hand it over to S.H.I.E.L.D., hmph."

Athena asked, "Master, what do we do now?"

Back home, Adam went into his lab and placed the still unconscious Dr. Bruce Banner on a special medical examination device. Well, actually, Dr. Bruce Banner had woken up once on the way, but before he could fully understand his condition, Adam knocked him unconscious again.

As Athena operated the machine, she said, "Master, there's absolutely nothing wrong with his body, but these green blood cells in his blood seem to be the source of his power. It's truly amazing."

Upon seeing this, Adam asked, "Athena, try to see if you can heal him! The Hulk's power is indeed formidable, but I think it's best if such uncontrollable power doesn't appear in the first place."

Athena nodded and said, "Okay, I'll start calculating now." Then she began simulating Bruce Banner's condition and treatment plan in her processor.

Five minutes later, Athena shook her head in frustration and said, "Master, with the technology we currently have, it seems we can't cure Dr. Bruce Banner. Even if we can temporarily make the green blood cells disappear completely, we can't prevent them from reappearing. After all, we still can't figure out the mystery of how the Hulk was formed. Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. sought Adam's help, claiming that a very dangerous Hulk had escaped from a US military laboratory and hoping that Adam, as a superhero, could help. Upon hearing this, Adam instructed Athena to investigate, found the Hulk, fought him, knocked him unconscious, and brought the now-human Dr. Bruce Banner to his research lab.

In the research lab, Adam and Athena examined Dr. Bruce Banner but couldn't find a way to restore him, so they had to wake him up. However, once awake, Dr. Bruce Banner seemed completely unaffected by his previous actions or his ability to transform, believing everything that had happened was just a nightmare.

When Adam asked if he remembered what had happened before, Dr. Bruce Banner recalled transforming into the Hulk and unleashing his power in the military lab, injuring his lover, Betty Ross. In his agitation, he nearly transformed into the Hulk again. Fortunately, Athena, who had been monitoring Bruce Banner's condition, immediately breathed a cold air at him, calming him down. Otherwise, the place would have become another battlefield. Although Adam's strength could subdue the Hulk again, the lab would certainly be unusable by then.

After calming down, Bruce Banner slowly recounted his story, saying, "That's how it happened. Heh, I always thought I was dreaming, but I never imagined I would hurt Betty! I actually hurt her! I promised to protect her for life, but in the end, I hurt her!"

After hearing this, Adam said, "Alright, Doctor, calm down. This isn't your fault, and you can't control your abilities yet. You can't get too agitated."

Bruce Banner asked, "What am I supposed to do now? I don't know how I'm going to live from now on."

After hearing this, Bruce Banner said, "I just heard about S.H.I.E.L.D., Adam, you have contact with them?"

Adam nodded and said, "I know a few of the people in there, but none of them have a good reputation. They're all a bunch of people who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. In my opinion, this incident is most likely their doing." Because of his prejudice against S.H.I.E.L.D., Adam directly smeared S.H.I.E.L.D. Of course, he didn't expect that he would guess correctly.

Bruce Banner smiled slightly and said, "Heh, it seems you have a lot of opinions about S.H.I.E.L.D."

Bruce Banner laughed and said, "I never expected the famous Shadow of the Sword to have such a childlike side."

Meanwhile, Maria Hill, after leaving Nick Fury's office, returned to her bedroom. After hesitating for a moment, she resolutely walked into the bathroom, took a shower, changed into a rather sexy outfit, carefully applied makeup, and then drove a red sports car away from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s New York City headquarters. Just then, Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., called Adam, seemingly wanting to talk to him about the Hulk. However, Adam loathed the Hulk so much that he had Athena tell Nick Fury that he was not there.

However, he clearly underestimated Nick Fury. When Adam refused to talk to him on the phone, he directly ordered Maria Hill to use her charm to get information from Adam. After hearing Nick Fury's order, Maria Hill decided to go and carry it out for the sake of her dream.

Of course, Nick Fury did this because he knew that Batman and Adam Stark were the same person, and therefore thought that the honey trap might really work. In the past, Adam might not have minded spending a pleasant night with her, but unfortunately, he already has Christine in his heart, and Natasha also lingers in his mind, causing him some distress. Adam smiled slightly and asked, "Maria, why did you choose this profession?"

Maria Hill listened, a hint of reminiscence in her voice. "It's for my dream, and I'm still striving for that dream now."
