Nick Fury stared at the documents in his hand, angrily saying, "That damn Magneto, he's causing us trouble again! Sigh, it's all because we lack top-tier power; otherwise, these people wouldn't have been so rampant until now."

He had received information that Magneto, with the help of a mysterious organization, had established a mutant nation in Camberia, Africa, where he was massacring ordinary humans. Almost no humans remained in the country; those who had been incorporated into Magneto's army had been wiped out. This situation had caused a huge international uproar, with members of the United Nations and S.H.I.E.L.D. pressuring Nick Fury to use nuclear weapons if he didn't quickly eliminate Magneto's so-called nation. Nick Fury knew that if he were to destroy the country with nuclear weapons, S.H.I.E.L.D. would lose its purpose, and decades of his hard work would be reduced to ashes.

This made Nick Fury both angry and helpless. Although he usually did things by any means necessary and his methods were very dark, he still had some bottom lines, namely, he could not harm the planet that had nurtured him. Therefore, he quickly contacted Professor X and asked them to come up with a solution as soon as possible.

Sure enough, Professor X called him soon after, saying he had sent people to Africa and had even asked Shadow Beginner for support. Although Nick Fury somewhat disliked Shadow Beginner, he knew that Shadow Beginner was very powerful, and with Shadow Beginner involved, the task would definitely be accomplished.

Nick Fury thought for a moment and said to Maria Hill, who was standing next to him, "Maria, inform Coulson to take his troops to support the X-Men and Shadow Beginner. Also, call Natasha and tell her to go to Gambiria in Africa immediately and try to make contact with Shadow Beginner if possible."

Maria Hill nodded and said, "Okay. I'll go right away." Then she turned and left the office.

Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Pierce is in a secret conference room, video chatting with several people.

A middle-aged man wearing a monocle asked casually, "Pierce, how's it going?"

Pierce smiled and said, "Hehe, don't worry, Baron, I've already sent the priest to Africa to cooperate with Magneto. We've completely diverted the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D., the X-Men, and Beacon of Fame to that side. They can't come back for the time being, so we might be able to take advantage of this time to kill that old guy!"

A woman in a long green dress played with her hair and said, "Oh, hehe, then I'll let you handle this matter. That old guy has been hindering our plans, it's time for him to disappear. I think he's had enough of living."

Inside a presidential palace made entirely of metal, Magneto sat casually in his seat, looking at the guy with a fake smile in front of him, and said, "So, your organization agrees to let you use energy weapons?"

The priest smiled slightly and said, "Of course, hehe. When we heard that Shadow Strike and the X-Men were going out together, our Baron strongly supported me and allowed me to use the energy weapon that is still under development."

After hearing this, Magneto said calmly, "In my opinion, you've been abandoned by the organization."

The priest's expression changed, but he quickly regained his smile and said, "How could that be? Everyone in our organization is a brother. We would never abandon our own brothers."

Magneto scoffed, "Alright, stop with the nonsense. I want to know how many energy weapons you can get your hands on?"

After hearing this, the priest said, "Honorable Magneto, the two hundred people who came with me this time are all allowed to use energy weapons. The weapons will be delivered to us tomorrow morning. Of course, the question is whether you can hold out until tomorrow morning."

Magneto snorted and said, "Heh, if Charles came in person, I might be somewhat moved, but with his few Level 3 mutants, they have no chance of winning."

The priest smiled upon hearing this and said, "Then let your men intercept them. I've received word that they've been gone for several hours."

Magneto replied, "Don't worry about that. The members of our Brotherhood are all very strong, and with some friends I've recently met, stopping them will be very easy. Mystique!"

As soon as Magneto finished speaking, Mystique appeared next to him. Of course, this wasn't teleportation; Mystique had simply transformed into a clothes hanger behind Magneto. Therefore, upon hearing Magneto call her, she immediately reverted to her original form and appeared beside him—a form of intimidation.

Magneto was quite pleased with Mystique, saying, "Heh heh, notify the insects to take sonar and intercept the X-Men. Also, don't tell them about Behemoth and Cyclops; let them suffer a bit."

The insects mentioned here refer to a group of Level 3 mutants Magneto encountered in Africa. They possess the abilities of insects found in nature; most can fly and are quite fast, capable of launching acidic venom. They are a cruel and ruthless race. As for the sonar, it refers to a mutant who can sense the location of other mutants. This is another Level 3 mutant Magneto recently encountered, and he has joined the Brotherhood. He can mark mutants he has seen, preventing confusion during searches and clearly identifying the locations of those he has marked.

Mystique nodded and said, "I'll go right away. I hope the X-Men will like it." A wicked smile played on her lips as she walked out of the presidential office.

The priest looked at Mystique and said, "Heh, Magneto, your companion's abilities are truly impressive."

Magneto laughed and said, "You haven't seen her at her most powerful."

The priest smiled slightly after reading it, said nothing, then bid farewell to Magneto and left Magneto's presidential palace.

Meanwhile, Mystique, after leaving the presidential palace, went to the place where the insects gathered and said, "You few, along with your kind and sonar, go and find the X-Men who have invaded our country, and it would be best to intercept them."

The leader of the insects, a Black man in his thirties, replied to Mystique's words, "Oh? Heh, how many X-Men have come?"

Mystique casually replied, "How many X-Men do you think are actually capable of fighting? Are you scared, Moore?"

The insect leader, named Moore, sneered, "No, I'm not afraid. I just want to know how many prey we have. After all, we insects have big stomachs, and the food you humans provide is no longer enough for us."

These insect-like mutants have abandoned their identity as a humanoid species due to their abilities, and consider themselves true insects. They generally eat large animals or humans, and the cannibalistic tribes in Africa that are rumored to exist are their creation.

Although it's unclear how Magneto got involved with these people, Mystique still dislikes these insects.

"As long as you can defeat them, you can do whatever you want with them!"

Moore chuckled and said, "Haha, alright, let's set off then. Tell that guy called Sonar to come over quickly, we're ready."

Mystique replied, "Don't worry, I notified Sonar before I came here, and he'll be here soon!" She then waited quietly for Sonar to arrive.

On the X-Men's fighter jet, now over Cambyria, everyone was on high alert, awaiting Magneto's attack. Just then, Adam heard a strange sound—the sound of rapidly flapping wings. Using his X-ray vision, Adam immediately spotted the source of the sound: a group of mutants resembling African natives with insect-like wings on their backs.

"Auroro, a group of insect-like mutants are coming from ahead. Judging from the direction they're flying, their target seems to be us. I noticed they're very fast, and we might not be able to shake them off. Let's find a place to land."

Storm nodded and said, "Okay, everyone hold on tight, we're about to land." Then she and Cyclops took control of the plane and landed on a relatively flat surface.

The plane came to a stop, and everyone disembarked, waiting for the other party to arrive.

Laser Eyes frowned and asked, "How many of them came?"

Adam said, "There are about thirty or forty of them. They are all mutants with insect-like features, and they are extremely fast. Everyone had better be prepared."

Upon hearing this, everyone quickly concealed themselves, preparing to give the insects a surprise—a surprise that their enemies would never like.

About five minutes later, everyone heard a rapid flapping sound of wings, and then they saw a group of about thirty or forty mutants with various insect wings, wearing animal skin clothes, and with all sorts of strange patterns painted on their faces.

Just as everyone was preparing to give them a surprise, the insect leader glanced at their hiding place, revealed a sinister smile, pointed his right hand downwards, and all the insects spat venom at Adam and his companions' hiding place.

Upon seeing this, the X-Men quickly dodged to avoid the Venom attack, but the place where they were hiding was corroded by the insects' venom, creating a deep hole.

Moore watched as the X-Men dodged their own attacks. He chuckled and said, "Heh heh, welcome, my lovely prey. Congratulations on becoming dinner for the Insect King Moore. In return, I will place your skulls on the wonders of our tribe."

The response he received was a laser beam from Cyclops, but the insects easily avoided the attack. After all, the insects' unique vision allowed them to easily capture Cyclops' every move, so even before the laser beam was fired, the insects were already prepared to dodge.

Moore's face darkened as he said, "Hmph. You ungrateful humans, attack!"

At Moore's command, all the insect-like mutants began attacking Adam and his companions with various venoms and stingers. Adam's eyes turned red upon seeing this, and he unleashed a heat beam, but his attacks were still easily evaded.

Adam knew that ordinary attacks wouldn't be effective against these insects, so he immediately used his superhuman speed, employing heat rays to disrupt their movements while simultaneously seizing an opportunity to easily leap over ten meters. He then punched one of the insect-men, breaking its wing and knocking it down from mid-air.

"Logan, this guy is yours."

Logan, upon hearing this, swiftly extended his metal claws and said, "Okay. No problem!" He then walked over and pierced the insect's head in a couple of swift movements.

Adam did not object after reading it, because they had already said they wanted to eat people, and Athena had already learned through S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database that these people were members of an African cannibal tribe, so they should be killed!

He only promised his father he wouldn't kill anyone himself. He never said he couldn't stand by and watch someone die.

Seeing Adam's actions, Maxim said, "Hahaha, Adam, let's have a contest. Who can swat down more flies!" Then, mimicking Adam's earlier actions, he unexpectedly cut off the wing of an insect.

Adam laughed and said, "Alright, let's go then!" Then he disappeared again.

After seeing this, Cyclops said to Storm, "Storm, make some trouble for those insects. I'll make sure they can't fly!"

Storm nodded, her eyes turning white, and almost instantly the entire sky darkened. Huge storms swept in, making it impossible for the insects to steady themselves no matter how hard they flapped their wings.

Upon seeing this, Cyclops immediately turned his laser beam to maximum, swiftly killing another insect. After that, everyone used their abilities, sometimes erupting from the ground to vaporize the insects, sometimes being struck by lightning to cook several insects that couldn't dodge in time. In just over ten minutes, the X-Men had killed nearly twenty insects, and with Moore, their leader, in the sky, there were still a dozen or so left.

Moore was shocked when he saw this. He commanded all the insects to gather around him, and then roared as dozens of poisonous stingers suddenly appeared on his body, gleaming with a green light, clearly indicating that they were highly venomous.

Moore inhaled and then exhaled, and all the stingers roared towards the X-Men. Perhaps Moore held a grudge against Storm for playing a significant role in the attack, as nearly a dozen stingers shot towards her. Storm quickly summoned the power of her storm to try and block them, but the stingers were far more powerful than she had anticipated. The storm she hastily created was unable to stop them.

The poison sting was incredibly fast, and it looked like it was about to strike Storm, whom Moore hated most. Adam swiftly appeared beside Storm and swiftly chopped the stinger several times with his hands, trying to shatter it. However, the stinger's hardness surprised Adam. Although he shattered the stinger launched by Moore, Adam's hands were also deeply cut by the stinger.

Adam's hand wound healed very quickly, but this still surprised him greatly. He had always been very confident, or rather, arrogant, in his physical strength, thinking that as long as he didn't use weapons of mass destruction, he wouldn't be able to get hurt. However, he didn't expect that the insect leader's stinger could actually damage his palm. It seemed that he needed to be more cautious.

Storm, standing behind Adam, noticed his injured hand and asked with concern, "Adam, are you alright?"

Adam shook his head and said, "It's alright, it's healed." He then showed Storm his completely healed hand.

Storm was shocked by Adam's regenerative abilities, but it was good that Adam was alright.

"What do we do now? I can no longer gather such a large storm as before, and the other side has also increased its altitude. None of us can fly, so the situation is somewhat unfavorable for us."

After hearing this, Adam said, "Don't worry, I have a way to prevent them from flying far. Can you give us a little wind?"

Storm nodded and said, "Okay, I still have some energy left."

Adam said, "Then be careful! I'm going to find Maxim." After saying that, he left Storm's side and went to Maxim's side.

Maxim was in a bit of a mess, but he managed to help others dodge Moore's attack without any real danger.

He saw Adam come to his side and asked, "What's wrong? Can Storm still use that move?"

Adam shook his head and said, "Not for now, but we can create a storm by running quickly. Do you still have the energy?"

Upon hearing this, Maxim laughed and said, "Haha, don't underestimate me, of course I can do it!"

Adam nodded and said, "Okay, then after I give the order, run quickly, and Storm will help us create some wind."

Maxim nodded and said, "Don't worry, I won't let you down at this time."

Adam nodded and said to the others through the radio: "Logan, go to Storm's side and protect Ororo. Cyclops and Margulies, you two keep attacking and don't let those damn insects escape. Riakos and Dr. Hank, you two be flexible and protect Cyclops and Margulies."

Upon hearing this, the others replied, "Okay, no problem!"

Adam smiled slightly and appeared, using his heat rays to disperse the clustered insects once again.

"Maxim, now's the time!"

Upon hearing this, Maxim nodded and immediately began to run. Combined with the wind created by Storm, a huge tornado formed again, moving towards the insects under Maxim's control as he ran at high speed.

Upon seeing this, Moore quickly shouted, "Everyone, get out of the way! Quickly!"

Adam sneered and said, "Hmph, how could I possibly let you leave!"

After Adam finished speaking, he quickly moved to the side of the tornado, took a deep breath, and then exhaled a chilling blast of cold air. The originally powerful tornado instantly turned into an ice storm. The insects that had been forced back by Margulies and Cyclops didn't even have time to react before they trembled all over, their wings were instantly covered by ice and snow, and they fell from the sky with a few thuds. They were then knocked unconscious or killed by the others.

Adam shouted, "The time for a counterattack has come!!! Let them taste our power!"
