“Oh, a very peculiar life form. I am quite interested in you. If you surrender and come to my side, I can take you as my adopted daughter,” Thanos said with a smile.

“I don’t have the habit of recognizing a thief as my father. Enough talk, let’s fight!” Athena said.

Chapter 460 The Final Battle Part 5

After Thanos realized that Athena was a special life form, he expressed strong interest in her and asked if she would be his adopted daughter. Unfortunately for him, Athena would not betray Adam and therefore directly rejected Thanos.

"That's a real shame. In that case, I'll take your head too." Thanos's tone was very confident, even arrogant.

Thanos, seeing Athena's magic, revealed a wicked smile and began to freefall, crashing heavily into Adam, who was trying to stand up from the ground. The explosion was even louder than before. Adam was struck in the abdomen by Thanos's legs, and the powerful force of the blow destroyed the platform beneath him, causing him to fall from the top level to the upper level.

On the facade of a building in the upper space, the axe-wielding man was being violently thrown over the shoulder by Hulk, who grabbed him around the waist. His head was embedded in the ground due to the impact. Just as Hulk was about to launch a further attack, he suddenly heard a cracking sound coming from the roof above. "Is he Thanos?" Hulk asked.

Since his spontaneous transformation during the last Battle of New York, and with Professor X's guidance, Hulk and Bruce Banner reached an agreement, allowing Hulk to communicate normally with others.

"Yes, he is Thanos." Adam exhaled lightly, expelling the unpleasant sensations from his body, and said calmly, "A very powerful guy."

Upon hearing this, Hulk immediately jumped forward to attack Thanos, completely ignoring the axe-wielding man he had knocked down to the side. In his rather simple mind, the axe-wielding man no longer interested him, and Thanos's towering figure aroused his desire to attack.

"Master, are you alright?" Athena asked immediately.

"It's alright. Thanos is indeed very strong." Adam wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said, "But I'm fine, and my strength is improving step by step. I believe I can defeat that guy."

“Alright, I thought I could be of help to my master, but your battle just now was too fast. I couldn’t keep up with your speed, and I don’t know many offensive spells,” Athena said, frowning.

"Don't say that, you fool. Don't forget how you fought alongside me before," Adam said, seeing Athena's expression.

Athena frowned and then smiled, her entire body becoming transparent as she merged into Adam's uniform.

"Thank you, Master. I've figured out how to fight alongside you," Athena's voice came through Adam's earpiece.

"Welcome back from your drink, Athena." Adam said calmly, "Then keep me informed."

“No problem, I’m ready,” Athena said with a smile.

Just then, Thanos descended from the sky and looked at Adam, saying, "Oh, so the two of you have merged into one? Heh, do you think you can defeat me like this?"

"How will you know if you don't try?" Adam wasn't angry. He stomped his feet hard, leaving huge spiderweb-like marks on the ground, and then leaped into the air, punching Thanos hard in the face.

Thanos clearly didn't expect Adam to launch a sneak attack. After being hit by Adam, he became angry and fought Adam again. The two fought each other in mid-air, on the ground, and even in outer space, exchanging punches and kicks.

The area where the two fought had been reduced to ruins. Although Adam had tried his best, Thanos's body was simply too powerful. Despite countless attacks, Thanos showed no signs of injury. However, Adam also had a bug-like ability: his recovery speed within the solar system was incredibly fast.

While Adam was fighting Thanos, Tony had already successfully killed Kress, the Iron Man warrior, on one of Jupiter's moons. Although Skynet helped with this, Tony wouldn't show any humanity to an enemy invading his world. "Where is Thanos's palace?" Tony asked Skynet as he sat in the ruins.

“Based on my and Charles’s observations, Thanos’s palace is getting close to the moon,” Skynet told Tony.

"We're almost at the moon, so we're not far from Earth anymore." Tony pondered for a moment, then asked, "What's the situation with Thanos?"

"Superman is fighting Thanos. Supergirl just finished off her enemies and ran over to help Superman, but Thanos is still not defeated," Skynet reported.

"Damn it, this can't go on. Get the ground crew ready; the battlefield might shift to Earth." Tony frowned, disconnecting from Skynet and asking his AI assistant, Friday, "How much energy do we have left?"

“The armor still has 30% of its power remaining. I suggest you change the power source,” Friday advised Tony.

"I understand." Tony took out a fully charged energy source from his spatial storage, installed it on his armor, and got up to leave. At that moment, he saw the scattered mech fragments on the ground. After thinking for a moment, he put these fragments into his spatial storage, intending to study them carefully when he got back.

Chapter 462 The Final Battle

“I don’t believe in God,” Falcon said calmly. “Skynet, report the situation.”

"Thanos and Adam have left that asteroid, but the rest are still fighting on it," Skynet immediately reported the intelligence it had obtained.

"Since Thanos isn't here, can't we find a way to stop that asteroid?" Black Panther asked, frowning.

"I'll contact Mr. Tony now and ask him about it." After saying that, Skynet hung up and got in touch with Tony Stark.

Far inside Thanos's asteroid, Tony is helping the others kill the remaining enemies.
