Chapter 343 Aliens and the Banquet

A medium-sized spaceship is heading towards the solar system in a galaxy near the Milky Way. It seems a bit disoriented... well, let's assume that's the location. Normally, this spaceship shouldn't have been able to find the solar system, since it's far too remote from the Milky Way. However, perhaps they were lucky, or perhaps Earthlings were just being reckless, sending random messages into space that were intercepted by this ship.

"Haha, this is hilarious! Look at this! Hmm, Earthlings actually think they're a superior race, hahaha!" The alpaca alien Tarot laughed maniacally as he looked at the message he had intercepted.

"What are you laughing at? Tarot, have you found Earth yet?" Chaos walked over and asked.

This group met at a spaceport. After all, Taro and Kira were considered young talents on that planet, and their families were not ones that a lone wolf like Chaos could afford to offend. After testing their strength, they agreed to search for Earth together. So, after obtaining a map of the Milky Way on Planet Teran, they immediately headed towards an area that was not marked on the map.

“Come and take a look. This is a message that Earthlings sent into space, but due to their technological limitations, it can only reach the surrounding area,” Tarot said with a smile.

"Oh, what's the message on it?" Kira asked as he walked over.

“Oh, judging from the records above, it should be their language, and there are also a few books, which have some influence.” Tarot stepped aside and said, “Look, they have already indicated their location, saying that it is the third planet in the solar system. Although we cannot know where the solar system is due to information asymmetry, I think it should be in this vicinity.”

Upon seeing this, Chaos chuckled, "Then let's follow this message. It might be a bit slower, but we're not in a hurry, are we, Fister?"

Fister, the cat-like girl, smiled slightly after hearing the others' discussion and said, "The minority shall obey the majority; I will listen to you."

Chaos replied, "Then, our target is that mysterious planet, Earth! Let's set off."

Tarot looked at the machine receiving the signal and said, "Let me analyze their language. Based on this information, their most commonly used language should be English. I will analyze their language immediately and create a language translator. I don't think you want to directly invade that planet, do you?"

Kira shrugged and said, "They blocked the Chitauri from invading us completely. We're just a few people, and we're not even looking for Earth to invade."

Steffier nodded and said, "That's right, our goal is to find treasure."

Chaos stroked his chin and said, "Yes, what exactly is this treasure that even Thanos coveted?"

While Tarot was working on the machine, he said, "Could it be an Infinity Stone? I remember my elders saying that Thanos seems to be collecting the Infinity Stones, the treasures of the universe. Right now, the only thing that has caught his eye is this."

“The Infinity Stones… Legend has it that they possess limitless power.” Steffiel bit his finger and said, “I wonder if the legend is true.”

“Once we find one of them, we’ll know if the legend is true,” Kira said calmly. “But don’t get your hopes up too high. If the Chitauri can suffer a loss, Earth doesn’t seem to be so easy to deal with.”

“Therefore, we should go to Earth first to gather some information before making any further plans,” Chaos declared definitively.

Earth New York City Dawn Tower

Adam Stark disappeared for three or four months. Although he occasionally appeared in public as a superhero, he didn't spend as much time as Adam Stark. As a result, some strange voices emerged, speculating that Adam might have forgotten about real life because he had been playing the role of Superman for too long.

Adam finished his recent backlog of work at the company today, and his secretary came in and told him there was a party tonight.

"A party? What party? Where is it?" Adam stretched and asked.

Adam's secretary glanced at the invitation in his hand and said, "It's from Pym Technologies. It seems they have a project that needs funding."

"Really? Pym Technologies, that name sounds familiar." Adam stroked his chin and asked, "Where exactly did you hear about it?"

"Mr. Adam, should I decline?" the secretary asked, looking at Adam's expression.

“No need, just tell them I’m back.” Adam finally remembered where he had heard about Pym Technology, so he said to his secretary, “Remember to let me know when the time comes.”

"Yes, sir. By the way, you have an appointment with Mr. Tony Stark for lunch, and you also have a meeting to attend at 2 p.m.," Adam's secretary said to Adam after glancing at the schedule.

"Ah, okay, I understand. You can go now." Adam nodded to his secretary, signaling her to leave.

After the secretary left, Adam immediately contacted Athena and asked her to investigate matters related to Pym Technology. Soon, Athena sent all the relevant information about Pym Technology to Adam's personal terminal.

"Oh, so it's him, Dr. Hank Pym, the first Ant-Man." Adam looked at the information in front of him and said, "If their technology matures, perhaps we can really invest in it. It reminds me of the anime Dragon Ball."

"Dragon Balls? You mean that capsule?" Athena asked.

“That’s right. Although Dr. Pym has been researching the weaponization of Pym particles, in my opinion, it can be used to make civilian products. If the Capsule of Life uses Dr. Pym’s patent, then it can be made.” Adam stroked his chin and said, “Perhaps I can talk to Dr. Pym tonight.”

“But your wishes may not come true, Master,” Athena poured cold water on the idea, saying, “Dr. Pym has been ousted from the board by his students; he’s just a paranoid old man now.”

“Then let’s talk to their daughter.” Adam pointed to a photo of a young woman and said, “Although Dr. Pym is no longer with the company, his daughter is still here, and Pym Technologies still belongs to Dr. Pym and his family.”

"Does Master intend to use his good looks to seduce you? Don't forget you have a daughter," Athena joked.

"Handsome man tactics? Please, she's a woman in her thirties, several years older than me," Adam said irritably. "By the way, how's Janata doing lately?"

“Aside from missing her father a little, she’s fine. But her learning speed is just too fast,” Athena said to Adam. “Her grades are good enough to get into any university.”

"Oh, it's only been a few days." Adam raised an eyebrow and said, "As expected of my daughter."

"Alright, Master, there are no outsiders here. How can you say that Ganata is your daughter?" Athena rolled her eyes and said.

"Alright, go back now, really." Adam waved his hand speechlessly, telling Athena to go back and take care of Ganata. Although she was very quick to learn, she was still just a child.

“Okay, I’ll be going. By the way, Nova sent a message saying that a spaceship seems to be approaching the solar system.” Athena said, “It seems we’ll have guests visiting Earth soon.”

“Keep a close watch on their movements.” Adam pondered for a moment and said, “But don’t try to make contact with them yet. We don’t know their technological level, nor do we know their intentions.”

"Alright, I understand. I'll head back now. I'll contact you again if anything comes up, Master." Athena said and then disappeared, since what had come here was merely a projection of Athena.

Chapter 344 Meeting with Dr. Pym

Pim Technologies Building in Los Angeles

Darren Kross, the current head and chief scientist of Pym Technologies, is in his office preparing his speech because his company has completed a groundbreaking product: his dream wasp warrior combat suit.

Just then, the door was knocked open and a blonde woman in her twenties walked in. She said to Darren Coros, "Mr. Darren, the invitation has been sent out, and Dawn Corporation has also responded."

Darren Koros raised his head slightly after hearing this and asked, "Oh, so what did Dawn Corporation say?"

“Mr. Adam Stark might come in person,” Darren Coros’s secretary said with a hint of excitement.

Darren Koros frowned slightly, then said, "Okay, I understand."

Darren Coros had no idea that Adam Stark would return, since he had only routinely sent out invitations to some powerful companies. However, it was still good news that Adam Stark was coming.

“Looks like your plan might succeed,” a woman said to Darren Koros as she walked in.

“Oh, Hope, my dear, it was our plan all along.” Darren Cross looked at the newcomer with a smile and said, “I didn’t expect Mr. Adam Stark to be willing to attend tonight’s banquet, you know the media says he’s quite a loner.”

“Adam Stark, I’ve always wanted to see him,” the woman called Hope said calmly.

"Hehe, I do want to know something too." Darren Kroos looked at a model on his desk, a small model of the Wasp Warrior, and said, "I really want to know which is more powerful, my Wasp Warrior or Superman."

"There's no comparison at all. They're completely different concepts." Hope stared at the man in front of her and said calmly, "Besides, our technology doesn't seem to be very refined yet."

“I know that, but our Hornet Warriors are not just one person; they can form an army.” Darren Koros said confidently, “As for the technical aspects, I am confident that given some more time, I can overcome these difficulties.”

“Okay, I believe you.” Hope shrugged and said, “By the way, Dr. Pym might attend the banquet tonight; I saw that someone has already contacted him.”

"Oh, the teacher will be attending tonight? Heh, that's wonderful. If he knew I'm almost at the point of cracking the technique he left behind, he'd probably cheer for me," Darren Koros sneered.

“I don’t know if he’ll applaud you, but he’ll definitely say you’re overestimating yourself.” Hope scoffed, “Haven’t you heard enough of that all these years?”

“Don’t worry, darling, I’ll make your father admit defeat.” Darren Koros said with a slight smile.

“He’s not my father. Alright, it’s lunchtime. Are you going or not?” Hope asked, somewhat annoyed.

That's right, Hope is Dr. Pym's daughter, but for some reason, she doesn't have a good relationship with her father, which everyone at Pym Technologies knows.

"Okay, don't be angry anymore, honey. I don't have anything to do for the time being. Let's go have lunch together." Darren Koros said, then got up and left the company with Hope.

---------------------

It was 8 p.m. in the ballroom of a top-tier Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

Adam and Christine got out of the car, tossed the keys to a waiter, and walked into the Hilton Hotel. Ignoring the reporters who kept trying to approach but were blocked by bodyguards, they went straight into the banquet hall.

“Pym Technologies, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that company,” Christine whispered. “Why are you attending this party?”

“Because of Dr. Pym. I’ve met him before. He’s a friend of my father’s, a scientist with an eccentric temper,” Adam said with a smile.

"I see," Christine nodded slightly.

At that moment, Darren Kross and Hope van Dyne also seemed to have spotted Adam and Christine, and immediately came over.

"Hello, Mr. Adam, Miss Christine," Darren Coros greeted with a broad smile, sporting a bald head and dressed in a top-notch suit.

"Hello, Mr. Cross, Miss Din," Adam and Christine greeted them, shaking hands with them.

“It’s a pleasure to have you here; it’s a real honor,” Hope van Dyne said with a smile.

The four chatted briefly before parting ways. Although Darren Coros and Hope were the organizers of the banquet, they weren't close and had little to talk about. Besides, some things weren't appropriate to discuss at this time, especially since Adam wasn't interested in some of Darren Coros's remarks.

"What's wrong? You don't seem too keen on talking to that person?" Christine asked.

“Darren Coros seems like a hypocrite, and I learned some things before I came here. It seems he was the one who ousted Dr. Pym from the company.” Adam, holding a glass of wine in one hand and Christine’s waist with the other, continued, “So this shows that he has character issues.”

"Huh? Just because of that?" Christine asked, somewhat puzzled.

“Of course, that’s not the reason either.” Adam smiled slightly and said, “The main reason is that old man.”

“Oh, it’s him, Dr. Pym?” Christine saw the old man Adam was talking about and immediately understood what was going on. “So he’s the one you want to work with.”

“Yes, Dr. Pym is the one I’m about to work with. As for Darren Kross, he’s just a guy who steals other people’s technology. Why would I leave a mountain of gold to choose a brick of gold?” Adam shrugged and then led Christine to Dr. Pym, who was talking to several young women.

"Hey, Dr. Pym, looks like your old habits haven't changed," Adam said as he walked over.

"Hehe, so that's who it is. It's the superheroes. Didn't you say you didn't want to attend these meaningless banquets?" Dr. Pym, dressed in a silver-gray suit, with gray hair and a matching beard, and wearing brown eyes, looked like a shrewd old man.

“Speaking of superheroes, you’re the real veteran,” Adam said with a slight smile. “By the way, let me introduce you to my fiancée, Christine.”

“Hello, Dr. Pym,” Christine said, extending her hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

"Hello, beautiful Miss Christine, I've seen all the movies you've been in." Dr. Pym smiled slightly, then said to Adam, "Didn't you say you weren't keen on attending these kinds of parties? Why are you here today?"

“I came here specifically for you,” Adam shrugged. “But you’re right, these kinds of parties are just boring.”

"For me? Hmm, that's strange. How did you know I'd attend this banquet?" Dr. Pym said irritably, "Don't you know I've already been kicked out of the company?"

"Today is Pym Technologies' 50th anniversary celebration, how can you not come?" Adam shrugged and said, "By the way, since you don't like these kinds of parties, do you have time to talk to me about something?"

"Oh? What is it?" Dr. Pym asked, frowning.

“I’ve recently noticed that your company seems to have started researching Pym particles again,” Adam said, looking at Dr. Pym. “I’m very interested in that and would like to collaborate with you!”

Chapter 345 The Wasp Suit

"Pym Particles? Sorry, I won't cooperate with you on this alone." Dr. Pym's face, which had just been slightly smiling, instantly turned icy cold as he refused without hesitation.

“Doctor, I think you’ve misunderstood me.” Adam shook his head and said, “The cooperation I’m talking about isn’t the kind of cooperation you’re imagining.”

"Forget about it. That's why I left S.H.I.E.L.D. back then," Dr. Pym said angrily. "Even if I starve to death, I will never use Pym Particles in any weapon."

“I didn’t ask you to produce weapons,” Adam said very seriously. “What I want to cooperate with you on is the civilian application of Pym particles. I think you won’t refuse that.”
