Although he said there was no rush regarding Tony's matter, the Sun Goddess, being his close friend, could still discern from his subtle expressions how anxious he was at that moment. However, due to potential dangers on Meteor Island and concerns for Earth's safety, they had to patiently wait for the moment when Meteor Island would be completely destroyed.

"Don't worry, he's wearing some magical protective gear, so he should be safe. Besides, almost everyone knows he's your brother, so they wouldn't dare to actually harm him," the Sun Goddess said softly as she walked to his side. "Perhaps they're waiting for you to return so they can negotiate with you."

The man sighed and said, "I hope so. Sigh, I should have assigned him a robot bodyguard."

“We’ll send him another one when he gets back. He’s always wanted a few robots to go and study,” the Sun Goddess said. “Besides, with so many people helping to find them, we’re sure we can find them, and the other side won’t dare to completely provoke you.”

"Sigh, I hope so. But when I get back, I'll definitely throw that Obadiah Stane guy in jail. I have a feeling that he's the one who revealed Tony's whereabouts. Otherwise, how could those people know Tony's exact location? He's not that stupid, um, except for thinking that Obadiah Stane is not dangerous," the man said.

As they spoke, the group had already returned to the watchtower. After all, to destroy the meteorite island, they would need to use the nuclear warheads provided by the countries on Earth that were in the watchtower. It would take them a long time to destroy the meteorite on their own. Neither humans nor anyone else wanted to stay in the silent universe for so long, especially since they were worried about Tony's situation.

After returning to the watchtower, the four of them, based on the data analyzed by Athena, placed the nuclear warheads at the designated locations and then detonated them back in a safe area. In a violent explosion, the meteorite island was torn to pieces, with countless fragments scattering in all directions. The four of them kept watch nearby, ready to destroy any large fragments that appeared.

Of course, they didn't bother with the smaller meteorites either, because the explosion site was far from Earth, and even if some meteorites were attracted by Earth's gravity, they couldn't get through the ozone layer.

Because of this thought, coupled with people's impatience, they did not see a meteorite, slightly larger than a typical meteorite fragment, heading towards Earth. They also did not expect that this meteorite would eventually land in a forest in Queens, New York City, and change a person's fate. But that's another story.

Let's take a look at another person whose fate was changed!

The man and his companions were busy in outer space for about ten days. For some people on Earth, this was an extremely long ten days, and it was also a ten-day period that changed the fate of one man, Tony Stark, who was known as the playboy of New York.

Tony disliked attending meetings and gatherings where he had to argue with government officials, but as the head of Stark Industries, he had to continue attending such meetings. The latest weapons demonstration in Afghanistan was one such event, so even the company of a beautiful reporter couldn't calm him down. He had no choice but to ask the government officials to leave first, while he and his friend James Roddy flew alone to the military base in Afghanistan.

After several days of various activities there, he showed his newly developed missile to representatives from the military and government, declined Roddy's offer of personal protection, and prepared to return to the US military airfield with a team of guards. He had had enough of the dusty Middle Eastern world and did not want to stay a moment longer.

Unfortunately, fate seemed to be playing a cruel joke on him. On the way back, they were ambushed, and a convoy of thirty or forty men was almost instantly wiped out. Tony, who survived thanks to his strong physique and magical artifacts, was knocked unconscious by a bomb he had just developed at close range. Because the magical artifacts had almost exhausted their energy during the previous fierce ambush, although they managed to protect Tony Stark's life with all their energy, he was still seriously injured by the shrapnel.

Tony, on the verge of death, was taken to a cave by a group of terrorists. After recording a video of him while he was unconscious, they took him to a room deep inside the cave, where a fellow hostage, a doctor, rescued Tony Stark. They wanted Tony Stark to stay in the cave and continue building massive missiles for them.

Under these circumstances, Tony Stark awoke after two days in a coma. Upon learning what had happened, he was incredulous that someone had tried to kidnap him. What he found most unacceptable was that, due to the depletion of his magical artifacts, shrapnel from a bomb had penetrated his body armor and was now constantly threatening his life, forcing him to rely on a makeshift device made from a battery to survive.

"What the hell?" Tony muttered under his breath, looking at the now-dull cross around his neck and then at his chest. He then asked the other person who was with him.

"My name is Yin Sen. Well, we actually met once a few years ago. Like you, I was also captured." The doctor who saved Tony's life, Yin Sen, introduced himself briefly.

"Sorry, I didn't recognize you." Tony was somewhat embarrassed, so he pretended to be very polite and turned his head away.

“I understand,” Dr. Yin Sen smiled and said, “If I had drunk as much as you, I definitely wouldn’t be able to stand up, let alone recognize people.”

"Where is this?" Tony asked, somewhat puzzled.

“A cave in Afghanistan,” Yin Sen smiled, seemingly used to it, and said, “You’ll have to ask those people for the exact location, but they might not be able to answer you. Oh, by the way, all the equipment and stuff you had on you were taken by them.”

Just then, loud shouts came from outside the door. Yin Sen's expression changed, and he told Tony to stand up and raise his hands with him. Tony, unaware of the situation, had no choice but to comply, waiting for the criminal who had kidnapped him to arrive.

Soon, a short, middle-aged man with a bald head walked in. He was wearing the clothes of the rebels. He smiled and seemed very enthusiastic, opening his arms to greet Tony and saying a few words. Then he gave Yin Sen a wink, signaling for the other man to translate.

Yin Sen walked over and said, "He said, 'Welcome Tony Stark, the greatest serial killer of this century.'"

"What do you want to do?" Tony asked, frowning.

“We need you to make weapons for us, yes, these missiles,” the middle-aged man handed Tony a picture of the Jericho missile, Stark Industries’ latest development, and said, “If you make us missiles like this, we’ll release you.”

“You’ve got the wrong person. I will not cooperate with you,” Tony said firmly.

"Oh, my friend, you might get hurt doing this, we all know that. Your brother, that American superhero, well, he is indeed very powerful, but this place has been modified once, so your brother won't be able to find this place at all." The middleman's smile vanished instantly, replaced by a faint threat.

“I’m just a weapons manufacturer, not a terrorist!” Tony still refused.

But as soon as he finished speaking, the middle-aged man's men shoved him into the pool next to him. After several repetitions, the electrical circuit in his chest malfunctioned, and Tony instantly fainted from the pain. When he opened his eyes again, the middle-aged man was still there.

“I told you, I won’t cooperate with you!” Tony’s stubbornness kicked in.

"Hehe, I'm only here to show you what's there. Come with me!" After saying that, he put a black hood over Tony's head, led him out of the cave, and showed Tony all the weapons in the base.

Tony was utterly shocked at this moment, because most of the weapons in the hands of the terrorists were developed by Stark Industries. Logically, it would be impossible for Stark Industries to sell advanced weapons to these terrorists, but now there were so many weapons here, which seemed to be mocking his insistence that it was actually a joke.

"You saw it?" the middle-aged man asked with a smile.

“Okay, I’ll cooperate, but I need an assistant. Yin Sen is a good choice to be my assistant. Also, you can’t ask me questions while I’m making it, because explaining it to you takes some time, and I don’t like wasting time!” Tony stated his requirements.

The moment Tony saw these weapons, some of Adam's earlier words flashed into his mind: there must be someone in Stark Industries selling weapons to terrorists behind his back, and in a high-ranking position. So he couldn't die; he needed to go back alive and deal with these matters.

The middle-aged man thought for a moment and said, "I agree to your request, but all your activities must be monitored, otherwise I will make you wish you were dead!" At the last moment, the middle-aged man reverted to his original face and threatened Tony in a somber tone.

"Don't worry, I haven't had enough fun in this world yet, and I still have a lot of work to do," Tony said calmly.

After hearing Tony's words, the middle-aged man nodded slightly, arranged for a few people to keep an eye on Tony Stark, and gave him all the things Tony needed. Having finished making arrangements, the middle-aged man resumed his smiling demeanor, chatted with Tony for a while, and then left.

Inside the cave, Tony began planning with the blueprints. Perhaps due to the dire situation, inspiration kept flowing, and combined with his usual accumulated knowledge, an idea that had been lingering in his mind for a while was quickly finalized. He immediately called for Yin Sen to help translate, and ordered the terrorist leader to deliver everything he needed. He was a man of action, and at this moment, he was almost impatient.

Chapter 266 I Am Iron Man

After most of the materials were gathered, Yin Sen asked with some curiosity, "Are you really going to make missiles for them?"

“No, now is not the time to build missiles.” Still somewhat suspicious of whether Yinsen Tony was truly on their side, he said vaguely, “I need to build something to keep me alive first. Hmm, this thing is a real nuisance.” He then pointed to the battery.

Yin Sen nodded as if he understood, and asked, "Do you need my help?"

“Of course!” Tony said, thinking through his plan. “Hmm, let me think about where to start.”

Time passed slowly, and two days later, thanks to the efforts of Yin Sen and Tony, a miniature arc reactor was created in the dark cave. Looking at the white-glowing reactor in his hands, Tony breathed a sigh of relief and gestured for Yin Sen to place it against his chest. Perhaps it was an illusion, or perhaps it was due to the unpolluted energy, but Tony Stark suddenly felt like he could take on ten men!

"This little thing is amazing," Yin Sen murmured, staring blankly at the reactor on Tony's chest.

“That’s right, this little thing is really amazing. Hmm, if you’ve seen the news, you should know that my company has a big one. This one can’t compare to that, but it can keep me alive.” Tony narrowed his eyes and whispered, “Or it can keep some big guy running for ten minutes.”

"Oh, what are you planning to do?" Yin Sen asked.

“Come on, take a look at this,” Tony called Yin Sen over, blocking the monitor with his body, and whispered, “We need to make this thing.”

After several days of communication and getting to know each other, Tony realized that the other party was not a terrorist, so he revealed what he was going to make. Yin Sen, on the other hand, was completely attracted by the design drawings in front of him. He had seen these drawings before, but he did not expect that the drawings, which did not look very good on their own, would turn into a mecha design when put together.

"Can something like this really be made?" Yin Sen asked, somewhat bewildered.

“Absolutely no problem,” Tony said, seemingly back to his previous self, radiating extreme confidence. “Don’t forget, I’m a weapons research expert!”

Over the next few days, Tony and Einson dealt with the terrorists' questions while secretly making escape weapons. Time passed little by little, and Tony and Einson made things that seemed unrelated to outsiders one by one. Finally, the delivery time given by the terrorists arrived, and the time for Tony and Einson to prepare to escape from prison also arrived.

With the help of a simple machine and Yin Sen, Tony completed the donning of most of the armor, leaving only the final step: installing the auxiliary control system. After all, without this control system, the armor would be nothing more than an empty shell, and no matter how powerful Tony's body was, he wouldn't be able to move around wearing such heavy armor.

Following Tony's instructions, Yin Sen typed the last few characters into the computer and asked, "Is that all?"

Tony's voice carried a hint of excitement as he said, "That's right, once the auxiliary system is fully loaded, we can leave this hellhole." He then glanced at the progress bar; well, there was still halfway through, which meant there were about ten minutes left.

"Open the door! Hou Sen, Stark, open the door! What are you doing?" Bang bang bang, accompanied by violent banging sounds, came the shouts of several people outside.

Upon hearing this, Hou Sen said, "It's those guys. It seems they've realized we're not under surveillance and are starting to get suspicious."

While adjusting to the armor, Tony stared at the computer and said, "Let's say a few words to them. Hmm, don't let them break down the door so quickly. Although there's a bomb at the door, we still don't have enough time!"

“Okay, I’ll try, but I’m not sure I can hold them off. I didn’t understand a word of what that guy was saying,” Yin Sen said, shouting loudly outside. Unfortunately, the knocking continued, as if the knocking hadn’t heard Yin Sen’s explanation.

"How much longer?" Yin Sen asked.

"It's been about five minutes. Hmm, looks like they're about to come in."

Just as Tony finished speaking, the iron gate outside was kicked open. Before the people outside could even enter, the bomb that had been planted earlier exploded instantly, blowing the four or five people who had come in into the air.

"This is bad," Tony thought, glancing at his computer. A wave of despair washed over the genius. He was so close to success, but he was about to fail at the last step.

"Mr. Tony," Yin Sen suddenly spoke up.

"Huh? What?" Tony, still somewhat dazed, was woken up by Yin Sen and looked at him blankly.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Tony. Well, after thinking about it, it’s very likely that the two of us won’t be able to survive together. Since that’s the case, I think your influence on the world is greater than mine, so…” Yin Sen paused, then said, “I hope that in the days to come you will remember the memories of this cave, sir. Good luck!”

"Hey, buddy, what are you trying to do?" Tony realized something was wrong and quickly said, "Trust me, we can all get out of here alive."

"I'll go distract those people. I hope you succeed!" After saying that, Yin Sen didn't give Tony a chance to speak. He smiled, picked up a weapon from the ground, and immediately ran outside. Soon Tony heard gunshots and Yin Sen's shouts from outside.

This seemed to be the first time Tony had encountered someone like this. In his mind, most people were selfish, especially when it came to their own lives; few would choose to save a stranger. He stood there, rooted to the spot, until he heard the terrorists' voices outside. His heart sank; he knew Yin Sen was likely dead.

"Damn it, I'm just a weapons manufacturer. Damn it, I should be the one who should die. What a disgrace!" A silent roar and a sense of guilt spread through Tony's heart. Just then, the footsteps outside grew closer and closer. In less than a few dozen seconds, a group of more than a dozen terrorists entered the cave where Tony was.

Almost simultaneously, a faint notification sound came from the laptop. Tony Stark, his face filled with deep sorrow, instantly raised his head. His eyes, filled with hatred, were hidden by his metal mask, preventing those outside from seeing his expression.

"Go to hell and repent!" Tony Stark whispered, activating his life-saving device, the mechanical armor, and embarking on his path of escape and revenge!

"My God, what is that thing? Tony Stark, are you in there?" a terrorist shouted, his voice trembling.

His answer was a cold bullet, instantly turning the terrorists outside into a pile of corpses. Tony then walked out of the cave and, based on his previous memory, arrived at a fork in the road. There he saw Yin Sen, who was lying on the ground, riddled with bullets and barely alive. He seemed to have heard something and struggled to open his eyes. The moment he saw the Iron Man suit, he smiled.

"It seems you've succeeded," he seemed to be experiencing a final burst of energy before death, his complexion becoming much rosier.

"That's right, I did it! Get up, we're leaving!" Tony said urgently, opening the visor of his armor and looking at Yin Sen.

"Hehe, it seems I can't go out. If you're so kind, please tell my wife when you go to any of the towns in Gemila that I've wronged her," Yin Sen said haltingly.

“No, buddy, as a playboy, I don’t remember what any man says. If you want to say something, go and say it yourself!” Tony said this almost pleadingly.

“It seems I’ve become the first man Tony Stark can’t forget,” Yin Sen smiled, his eyes dimming and his voice growing softer. “Remember everything here, Tony. This is a world you’ll never see. Also, thank your brother for me; he was truly a good man!”

"No, Yinsen! Wake up!" Tony kept calling out, but Yinsen was already dead and could no longer hear Tony's voice.

The incessant rattling of bullets pounding against his armor finally brought Tony back to his senses. He immediately lowered his mask and, with heavy steps, began to walk outside, leaving behind a trail of terrorist corpses. 8

Chapter 267 Saving the Millionaire Tony Stark

In outer space, the man and his team finally managed to destroy all the meteorite fragments. Of course, there were some smaller meteorites they didn't bother with; firstly, there wasn't enough time, and secondly, the ozone layer's protective role for Earth shouldn't be underestimated.

Inside the Watchtower, in the Hall of Justice, people were asking Athena about Tony, but the last thing they got was a video released by the Ten Commandments a few days after Tony's disappearance, demanding the release of some wanted criminals by the United States. They knew that the Ten Commandments were behind this.

"These guys...it seems I've been too lenient with them before." A flash of anger crossed the man's face, then he turned to Athena and said, "Can you pinpoint the approximate area?"

Athena shook her head and said, "I'm sorry, Master, we can't pinpoint their approximate location. It's clear they have a lot of various protective devices. In the area where Tony was picked up, I found no fewer than twenty areas without signal, and Professor X hasn't been able to find Tony either."

Looking at the battle flag belonging to the Ten Commandments Gang on the screen, the man said fiercely, "Ten Commandments Gang, it seems we'll have to remove this cancer when we get back!"

The Sun Goddess walked over and said, "Perhaps I can give it a try. I remember there is a kind of divine magic, but I need some of Tony's hair or something similar."

The man immediately said, "Athena, prepare the teleportation device and go directly to Tony's house. Also, call Pepper and ask her to come over too. I think she knows where we need our things."

Upon seeing this, Wolverine said, "Let's go together. We've fought the Ten Rings a few times before, and we know some of their strange ways."

The man paused for a moment, then shook his head and said, "No need, thank you Logan. This is my personal matter, and you've all been very tired. Go back and rest first. I'll let you know when the real war with the Ten Rings begins."

Logan shrugged and said, "Come on, buddy, stop being so dramatic. I consider you a friend, and it's always good to have more people around."
