Upon hearing Wolverine's words, Adam didn't hold back and threw a punch at Wolverine. Of course, Adam wouldn't use his full strength, only about three times the strength of a human. However, he realized that he had underestimated Wolverine, because his punch was blocked by the opponent.

But isn't that what makes it interesting?

Knowing that Wolverine was very powerful, Adam began to spar with him with peace of mind, gradually increasing his strength. He did not use super speed or heat rays to bully his opponent, but simply used slightly greater strength and agility than his opponent each time.

Adam and Wolverine fought more and more fiercely, their punches landing on the ring leaving it battered and bruised. However, neither the spectators below nor the two fighters paid any attention to the ring; they were completely absorbed in the brutal, hand-to-hand combat.

The battle lasted for about fifteen minutes. Adam and Wolverine had almost unlimited stamina, so the intense battle lasted for so long without exhausting them. They also gave the people below a battle they could only dream of.

With a loud thud, Adam punched Wolverine, sending him crashing into the wire mesh of the ring. He shook his hand and said, "Hey, buddy, wanna fight some more?"

After hearing this, Wolverine glanced at the group of people below who looked as if they had seen a ghost, shook his head and said, "Forget it, I'm not fighting anymore. I admit defeat this time, but let's have a real fight next time when we have the chance!"

He hadn't even used his Vajra Claw yet, and he also had a feeling that his opponent hadn't used their true strength either, which was why he invited them to fight again next time.

Adam smiled and said, "Great! It's been a long time since I've had a fight like this. It was exhilarating! Want to grab a drink?"

Wolverine smiled and lit a new cigar, saying, "Of course! You look like you're quite wealthy, it's your treat!"

Adam smiled, picked up his shirt and put it on, saying, "Of course, no problem!" Then he and Wolverine Logan left the backyard.

The two ordered a beer and sat down at the bar to start chatting.

Adam laughed and said, "My name is Adam. What's yours? I can't exactly call you Wolverine, can I?"

Wolverine said, "My name is Logan, but you can call me Wolverine if you want."

Adam took a sip of his drink and said, "Alright, I'll call you Logan, it'll be more polite, won't it?"

Wolverine shrugged and said, "Suit yourself, I'm used to it. Cheers!"

And so, the two chatted and drank, neither asking the other's purpose. They talked about gossip and jokes, and then Adam, seeing that it was getting late, said he had to leave.

Wolverine is someone who can drink a lot without getting drunk, so he remained perfectly sober and nodded, saying, "Alright, Adam, be careful on the road. If you want a drink, come find me here. I'll be staying here for three or four days!"

Adam, a little drunk, nodded and said, "Okay, but if you have time, come find me in New York. I'll show you my bar; there are lots of fun things there. I have to go now! Goodbye." With that, he left the bar, still slightly tipsy.

Wolverine smiled after reading it and said, "What an interesting person. Maybe New York is a good place to go. I'll go check it out next time!" After saying that, he ordered another beer and drank it alone.

It was quite late when Adam left the bar. Slightly drunk, Adam sobered up after being blown by the night wind. He checked his phone for messages, found nothing important, and then drove back to the villa where the film crew was staying, swaying all the way.

When Adam returned, he found that the day's filming was over. His assistant was looking out the door with a worried expression. He smiled, walked over, patted his assistant on the shoulder, and said, "Hey, Susan, I'm back. Go back and rest."

The girl called Susan was Adam's assistant at Dawn Film Company. She was a sweet-looking young woman. She yawned and said, "Ah, boss, you're back. Your bedroom is on the second floor. Let me take you there."

Adam smiled and said, "Alright, since you're sleepy, go back to sleep. I'll go back to my bedroom to sleep by myself."

Susan was so tired that she nodded and said, "Okay, I'm going back to sleep now. Boss, you should get some rest too!" Then she left in a daze.

Adam couldn't help but laugh after reading it. He quickly stopped his confused assistant, asked for directions to his bedroom, and then let the assistant leave. He went upstairs to the room the assistant had mentioned and went inside.

Adam walked in, didn't turn on the light, went into the bathroom and took a nice shower. After that, he wrapped himself in a bathrobe and walked out of the bathroom. He then went to the bed and lay down. Because he was a little drunk, he quickly fell asleep.

The next day, Adam was woken up by his assistant. After having some breakfast, he went to the director's side and began his journey of learning from him.

Of course, Director Alice had no objection to this, and she didn't believe Adam could learn to direct after watching just one lesson, so it was impossible. However, she underestimated Adam's abilities. With his super brain, Adam learned very easily, mastering a great deal of directing knowledge in just two or three days.

Then, on the last scene of the third night, he suggested that he give it a try. Since the other party was not just a producer, Alice could not refuse and could only frown slightly and let Adam give it a try.

However, Alice's brow soon relaxed, because although Adam seemed a bit inexperienced as a director, he still did a pretty good job, which surprised Alice.

After filming, Alice smiled and came to Adam's side, saying, "Hehe, Adam, I didn't expect you to live up to your reputation as a genius. You've learned directing techniques so quickly. It won't be long before you can direct a movie on your own."

Adam smiled modestly and said, "Hehe, it's all thanks to Alice for teaching me so well. We've finished filming today, so I'll treat everyone to dinner tonight. Let's all go out for a few drinks?"

Upon hearing Adam's words, Alice thought for a moment and said, "Okay, you young people can all go and have some fun. I won't go, so they won't feel awkward."

P.S.: "Please secretly ask for some recommendation votes, but don't tell anyone!!!"

Chapter Twenty-Two: I'm Not a Rabbit

P.S.: I'm so sorry, I had dinner with my colleagues and got back late! I'll add an extra chapter tomorrow. I'm just too tired today, going to bed now.

===========================================

Alice's words made the crew cheer. Because of filming these past few days, Alice had forbidden them from drinking alcohol and told them to stay in the villa as much as possible. So when they heard that they could go out today, especially to have a few drinks, everyone was overjoyed.

Upon seeing this, Alice quickly added, "Going out is fine, but don't stay out too late, and don't drink too much, or I won't be so lenient tomorrow!"

Tommy Welling, who plays Edward, laughed and said, "Don't worry, director, we're just going to have some fun and will be right back."

Adam assured her, "Don't worry, Alice, I'll keep an eye on them."

Alice nodded and said, "Alright, today is just an exception. I definitely wouldn't have agreed if Mr. Adam hadn't asked me to. Go and come back quickly."

Upon hearing this, the crowd cheered, shouting, "Long live the director! Long live Mr. Stark!"

Christine looked at Adam with curiosity, clearly realizing that this playboy was different from the legends. He hadn't made a move on her, nor had he threatened or retaliated against her because of what happened that day. 'It seems I'll have to find some time to apologize and get to know this playboy again,' the thought suddenly popped into her mind.

At that moment, Christine heard Adam's voice: "Alright, everyone go pack up. We'll leave in half an hour. I'll go book the bar first, so we can have a great time without anyone bothering us."

After waving to everyone, Adam left his assistant in the villa and arrived at the town's bar in less than ten minutes. He found the owner, booked the entire bar, and then sent a text message to Susan with the bar's address.

At that moment, Adam suddenly remembered Logan and realized that he hadn't gotten the other man's phone number. So he drove to another small town and asked around in a bar about Logan's address. Luckily, the bar owner and the hotel owner next door were the same person, so Adam quickly found Logan fast asleep in the hotel.

Logan, shirtless and showing off his well-defined muscles, touched his hair and asked, "Oh, Adam?! What do you need me for?"

Adam smiled and said, "I booked a bar in another small town to throw a party for the film crew. I remembered that you don't have any friends here, so I came over to invite you to have a few drinks with me."

Logan asked doubtfully, "Film crew? Are you an actor? No, actors don't have that much power. Are you the director?"

Adam explained, "I'm not the director, but I'm the producer and screenwriter. How about we come along?"

Logan figured he had nothing else to do, and it was rare for a friend to invite him to a party, so he nodded without hesitation and said, "Okay, wait for me!" Then he headed towards the bathroom.

A dozen minutes later, Logan, dressed neatly, came out and left the hotel with Adam, returning to the bar Adam had booked.

More than an hour had passed, and the party had begun. Loud music was blasting from the bar, and everyone was letting loose their excess energy. Of course, since everyone there was from the entertainment industry, some boundaries were still maintained.

After seeing what was happening inside, Logan laughed and said, "Looks like the entertainment industry isn't so mysterious after all."

Adam shrugged and said, "We're all human, what's the difference? Let's go have a drink, of course, if you happen to run into **, that's your skill!"

Logan smiled and said, "Let's drink first, and we can talk about other things later!" After saying that, he and Adam walked to a corner and chatted and drank.

Adam's alcohol tolerance was developed through practice, especially after his last drinking session with Logan, which greatly increased his capacity. Therefore, he didn't get drunk as quickly this time. The two of them would drink for a while, then go on stage to dance with everyone, having a great time. Logan, on the other hand, temporarily forgot about his amnesia; after all, it had been over ten years, so there was no rush. He joined the cast and crew, having a wonderful time.

When the music ended, Adam and Logan returned to their seats.

Logan lit a cigar and said, "It's been a long time since I've felt this relaxed!"

Adam shrugged and said, "That's because you're living too hard. So what if you don't know who you are? As long as you're alive, isn't it enough to be happy?"

Logan paused for a moment, then said, "That being said, there are still some things I'd like to know."

After hearing this, Adam said, "Alright, whatever you say. But I have some connections in New York. I'll look into it for you when we get back."

Logan took a puff of his cigar and said, "Thanks, brother."

Adam laughed and said, "Since we've said we're brothers, let's not be shy. Let's drink until we drop! Cheers!"

Logan smiled and said, "Cheers!"

Meanwhile, Christine was observing Adam, watching him drink and chat with Logan. She couldn't tell that he was a rich second-generation heir with millions in assets, which puzzled Christine greatly.

Christine gritted her teeth, picked up a glass of red wine, and walked over to Adam, saying softly, "Mr. Stark, may I have a word with you?"

Logan stood up after seeing this, offered his seat to Christine, and then left after finding another destination.

Adam was clearly surprised that Christine had summoned him. Although he was quite puzzled, he still said, "Please sit down!"

Christine sat opposite Adam, her face slightly flushed, and said, "Mr. Stark, I'm sorry about what happened last time, I was just overthinking it."

Adam certainly didn't hold a grudge about that incident, since it was all in the past, wasn't it? So he shrugged and said, "Alright, I've long forgotten about that. How's it going? Is the new assistant treating you well?"

Christine nodded and said, "Yes, Ms. Emma is very kind to me. Thank you for your help, Mr. Adam."

Adam waved his hand and said, "Alright, enough with the thanks. Come on, have a drink, and let's put our differences behind us!"

Upon hearing this, Christine downed her glass of red wine in one gulp, leaving Adam dumbfounded. He had rarely seen a woman drink like that before. Heh, interesting.

Christine realized her actions were somewhat unladylike, gave an awkward smile, and said, "Um, Mr. Stark..."

Adam interrupted her, saying, "Just call me Adam. Mr. Stark is too formal."

Christine nodded and said, "Okay, Adam, I should go now. Yeah, that's it."

Just then, the music on the field turned into a romantic dance tune.

Adam stood up with a smile, walked up to Christine, and said, "Beautiful lady, would you do me the honor of dancing?"

Christine had drunk quite a bit and was feeling a little dizzy. In the hazy environment, Adam's smile seemed particularly attractive, so Christine, who was originally planning to go back, nodded almost unconsciously and followed Adam onto the stage.

The romantic dance music, the dreamlike lighting, and the effects of alcohol made Christine feel like she was in paradise. The masculine scent emanating from Adam made Christine feel intoxicated in this atmosphere, so she couldn't help but hug Adam tightly, burying her face in his shoulder and quietly enjoying the romantic atmosphere.

Christine's actions elicited a reaction from Adam. His hand, which had been on Christine's back, slid down to her waist, and then, as the distance between them decreased, slowly slid down to Christine's shapely buttocks.

Christine could no longer distinguish between reality and fantasy, and murmured, "Adam, you said that a rabbit doesn't eat the grass near its burrow!"

Adam gently stroked Christine's body, and said in a tender and magnetic voice, "I'm not a rabbit, and Christine isn't some blade of grass, but a beautiful rose!"

================================================

Christine was already intoxicated by Adam's sweet words, and murmured, "Yes, I am the rose, but unfortunately you have cut off my thorns, and I can no longer resist you!"

Adam smiled charmingly and said, "Really? Then I'll have to give it a try!" He then gently kissed Christine's lips.

Because the bar was dimly lit, no one noticed what the two were doing, and even if someone did, they would pretend not to see it. After all, it was clearly consensual, and it wasn't their place to interfere.

Adam skillfully aroused Christine's desire. She was no longer satisfied with just kissing and wanted to take things further. So she kept panting and said, "Damn it, I'm going crazy. Take me away now!"

Adam, of course, wouldn't refuse a beautiful lady, so he greeted Logan on the other side and then quietly left the bar with Christine.

After leaving the bar, Christine was slightly sobered up by the cold wind and realized that she had already gotten into a car with Adam. She was of course aware of what was going to happen. Although she was not unwilling to have a relationship with Adam, it seemed to be happening too fast, which made her a little confused.

Adam noticed Christine's change in demeanor, pulled the car over to the side of the road, and then took Christine's hand, asking with concern, "What's wrong?"
