From Azkaban to Hogwarts.

A Muggle-born wizard let out a wail—this was the first time he had felt magic was a terrifying thing since he received a letter from Hogwarts when he was eleven years old.
"Let them take the exam. They're not our professors. If anyone should take the exam, it should be the fifth-graders. Let them do it."
The chamber pot faction expressed their incomprehension. He had been directly assigned by Filch to wash chamber pots and noticed that the atmosphere in the room was a bit low, so he wanted to boost morale.
Although there were fifth graders in their gang, they had gone back to sleep before being caught because they had to finish their exams, and now that they were gone, they didn't have to worry about getting beaten up for making some jokes.
“We just did a test paper—not for Magical Self-Defense, but some random stuff. I think the professor might have a penchant for creating tests, and judging from Professor Binns’s behavior, he seems to really enjoy collaborating with other professors.”
...
The scene became increasingly deserted.
"What were we discussing last time?"
"Oh right, write love letters, imitate the love letters written by the girls who have a crush on him."
"Yes, yes, that's a good idea."
"What's so good about it? So many students are being punished, and then the professor receives love letters? Just thinking about it raises questions—let's postpone it, at least until after the confinement ends. Remember this for now."
The original proposal was postponed indefinitely, and the group began to rack their brains trying to figure out how to divert the new professor's attention from the matter of creating the exam questions.
...
"Life in the magical world is so wonderful, why would the professor waste his limited life on endless exams?"
The Muggle-born wizard complained indignantly that they had been thinking for a long time but had not come up with a way to deal with the new professor.
Just as they were racking their brains, the professor next door suddenly made a noise.
"Boom!"
"what!"
Then came the indistinct sounds—in fact, no one intended to listen anymore.
The moment the sound rang out, the twins drew their wands and pointed them at each other's heads, their fiery red hair changing almost instantly.
"Cover your faces and run!"
"One, two—Charge!"
The classroom door was opened, and the mischievous kids, who were ready, rushed out the door without even looking back.
'Fortunately, a trap was set in the next classroom, giving us time to prepare.'
The twins thought with relief, and then, as they passed the corner of their eyes, they glanced at the empty classroom that had been next to them—the person inside had already run out, a striking splash of fiery red.
'Not Filch—Percy, you big-headed idiot! Not only did you reject my writing assignment three times last night, but you also brought people to arrest me after my detention ended. So what if you're a prefect?'
Muttering to himself, Fred didn't slow down at all and started rushing towards the area away from the lounge—if he went straight back, Filch would most likely be waiting there.
After deliberately taking a detour, the two finally returned safely to the lounge.
"That was close—does he get a reward for arresting people?"
Fred began to complain, panting heavily.
"If he were willing to share half with me, I wouldn't mind letting him catch me a few times. Unfortunately, that jerk Percy won't give me a single nut."
"After the inspection, they came to arrest people again—Percy might get into Hogwarts after graduation, of course, to take over Filch's job."
George wiped his brow and cheerfully continued the conversation.
"No way! I suspect he'll bring his habits home, and when he wakes up during summer vacation, there'll be a big head on his bedside table—Fred, George, you two are in solitary confinement!"
Is there anything worse than that?
The two looked at each other and laughed.

“Ginny—you swear you won’t tell anyone.”
"But, okay, Percy, if you—what sound?"
Ginny, who had just stumbled upon a date, was being asked to swear an oath when she suddenly heard a noise coming from the classroom next door.
“Anyone else? Penelope—I’ll go out and check. If anyone else comes in, just say we’re looking for a student who didn’t come home last night. And Ginny, that’s not your friend, is it?”
Percy peeked out nervously, afraid that others would see their date.
"It can't be the professor, it can't be Filch..."
Muttering words he didn't even know he was trying to express, Percy looked around.
Then, to Percy's astonishment, a swarm of people rushed out of the next classroom...
Chapter 112 Strange Inspection of the Restroom
Good morning, children.
William walked into the classroom with a cheerful smile—Adams had told a particularly brilliant joke about trolls and goblins at breakfast, which was so well-received that even Professor McGonagall almost burst out laughing.
This successfully solved William's problem of not being in a good mood since he woke up in the morning, because it was a cloudy day again.
But after he greeted the students, he was surprised to find that they weren't very enthusiastic.
"Hey? What happened? You all look pretty listless."
William didn't think his classes were boring enough to make the students so unhappy—everyone was in high spirits at the end of the last class, weren't they?
“Professor, it’s not surprising if you’re in the lounge—we’ve been conducting checks since five in the morning.”
"examine?"
William was confused by the student—if he remembered correctly, he had been listening to Adams tell jokes that morning.
"Yes, they did a check, Professor. Gryffindor did a check this morning, checking for people who didn't come home at night. It was only five o'clock!"
Are they checking for people who haven't returned home at 6 AM?
That makes some sense—but firstly, it's a bit late, and secondly, waking people up so early on Monday is a bit unethical, isn't it?
"Gryffindor checked, so why are you all so listless?"
“Gryffindor caught three pairs, then the prefects informed each other, and the other houses also began their own investigations.”
"That--"
William was just about to ask why he hadn't heard it at the dinner table when he immediately realized the problem—only the deans of the various colleges knew how much had been found out; how could it be discussed at the table as a topic of conversation?
Although other professors will eventually find out, no one will deliberately bring it up as gossip.
“Okay, I understand—” William suppressed his curiosity and announced the start of class. “But no matter what, class must continue. Pack your books and let’s begin.”
"Hey, Professor, aren't you going to ask Percy why he suddenly decided to conduct a search of the students?"
Percy? William was taken aback—was it because he praised him yesterday and was now preparing to work even harder to fulfill his duties? Or was he just trying to make up the numbers because he felt there weren't enough students to supervise?
However, this was an internal student matter, and William had no intention of interfering or asking questions—it was perfectly reasonable for a prefect to catch a student who had broken the rules.
But the students below were getting anxious. They were curious, even if the professor wasn't. Why was the melon cut in half and put in the refrigerator instead of being eaten?
"I'm not curious, but here's a piece of advice for all of you—curiosity killed the cat."
William answered seriously, then put down his textbook, placed his hands on the podium, and leaned forward. "Whenever or wherever you hear an inappropriate sound, the first thing to do is not to curiously peek out, but to draw your wand, scan the surroundings for places where you can hide, try to keep your back against the wall, and then fight back at any time. This can save you more than 70% of the danger."
"Professor, how come it's only seventy percent?"
"Because the magical world is too dangerous. You're not just facing people, even the wall you're leaning against might be dangerous."
This novel theory immediately caught the attention of the students—those who chose this course in sixth grade were more or less driven by a sense of adventure.
"Professor, please tell me more. You must have a lot of great adventure stories."
Sorry—it's all hearsay; I don't have any of my own stories. Besides, who knows how much of what those Azkaban people are telling is true and how much is false?
However, William wanted to save face for the professor, so he simply started praising Professor Lockhart.
"Adventure stories? Professor Lockhart is the master of adventure. I don't have much adventure experience, and some of it comes from other experienced adventurers. This experience comes from their word of mouth. You know, you can squeeze half a bottle of wine out of what those people say."
But such excuses did not have much effect. On the contrary, the students were even more interested in listening to the story—what could be more interesting than listening to a story in class?
"Okay, okay, I'll just say a bit. If you don't like it, we'll stop today's lesson immediately."
In any case, it's just about telling the prepared lessons in the form of stories. If the pace falls behind, a few test papers will quickly bring the lessons back on track—William subconsciously forgot the idea of using test papers only for fifth-grade students.
"Well, where should this story begin? Let's start in the middle of an expedition (smuggling)."
William cleared his throat.
"Because most of the roads were blocked at the time..."
William, through a mix of fabrication and deception, transformed a story about smugglers being forced to detour through the mountains due to road blockades into an explorer's version. This was one of the most vivid stories he had ever heard in Azkaban, and it was quite effective in entertaining the students today.
"So, Professor, those people encountered a cat-leopard?"
William, who was speaking enthusiastically on stage, paused for a moment—he had just been talking about the murders at Nightfall Camp, and someone had already revealed the truth?
What's the difference between this and listening to a stand-up comedy routine where the joke is revealed, or looking at the first page of a Conan manga where someone's face is marked as the murderer?
'Beat him up.'
This was the first command that came to William's mind, but he quickly realized that this was not Azkaban.
He looked to see which student was so bold, only to find that the guy was already under the hateful gazes of the other students.
'never mind.'
William thought for a moment, then began to change the subject—
"Yes, it's a cat-leopard—one of the most dangerous magical creatures publicly acknowledged by the Ministry of Magic, a Level 5X creature, an assassin in the mountains. Its eyes have the ability to hypnotize and legitimize. If you encounter it, run fast—appaim immediately, or call for backup immediately. If you can't do either of those, then confidently meet it with a confident smile."
"But Professor, we learned in our magical creatures class that cats and leopards aren't afraid of wizards, not even a pair of wizards with magic can scare them away!"
“I didn’t say to scare it away, kid. If you do that, you’ll die with some dignity.”
William responded gently, and then all the students burst into laughter.
"Alright, although our story has been interrupted, I must solemnly repeat here that when you want to go on an adventure, you must pay attention to four things—first, always keep your wand firmly in hand; second, choose your companions carefully, because even the sturdiest wall cannot protect your back as well as a good teammate; third, prepare your food and lodging in advance; and fourth, and most importantly, bring enough money that will not arouse greed."
Many students took notes, which made William a little uneasy—he was a theorist, but had no practical experience.
'If I can find suitable companions during summer vacation, why not try an adventure—wait, I'm still under the curse; isn't an adventure just suicide?'
