From Azkaban to Hogwarts.

Their friend Lee Jordan wouldn't turn around and talk to them, which frustrated them and forced them to give up on continuing the conversation—their training was over, but they still had to stay in jail that night.
“Okay, Lee, Kevin. We don’t know what happened, but there’s no time now. I think we need to have a good talk—when we get back.”
The two said goodbye in a hurry and then rushed to the bathhouse to prepare for their work before the evening's confinement.
"They had no idea—aren't we going too far?"
After the twins left, the people who had gathered began to ask questions.
"It's not excessive. Nobody knows if this is a new joke they came up with. Can you guarantee it's not a prank he played on us when he couldn't control the situation?"
The question was raised that afternoon, but apart from Lee Jordan, no one could be certain that the two of them didn't intend to play a prank.
From the day the Weasley brothers enrolled in school, they started playing pranks. Although their intentions weren't malicious, they did have a history of teasing other students.
In this incident, it's entirely possible that the two of them were plotting to have Filch scare everyone. If they hadn't been caught searching Filch's office, all the students could have left after Professor McGonagall arrived with just a valid reason—Hogwarts doesn't have a rule against gatherings.
"Change Li's position. If he still doesn't change, then the fact that he's been petrified will be exposed."
When the twins left the lounge—their friend Lee even started angrily punching them, which upset them for quite some time.
-
"George, it seems we've been mistaken for traitors."
"Yes, Fred."
George answered listlessly, wondering how those guys had been caught.
“But we haven’t done those low-level pranks in a long time, and that guy Lee—wait, it seems like Lee is being controlled!”
This conclusion pleased the two of them.
"Let's skip solitary confinement! We haven't escaped it yet. Let's rush back to the break room and rescue Li—we..."
Suddenly inspired, the two were about to discuss the feasibility when a knight rushed up the wall and pulled his horse back on the painting closest to them.
The horse came to a perfect stop, panting heavily and swaying its hooves, as if it wanted to do it all over again.
"Mr. Weasley, I bring Professor William's apologies. The detention location has been changed at the last minute, so you will have to go to the Wizarding Self-Defense Magic classroom."
He gave the two men a knightly salute, then kept a close eye on them until they remembered to return the salute, at which point he pulled on the reins with satisfaction.
"If you need any help, come to me. A true knight will not refuse to help the weak."
The last half of the sentence was blown far away by the raging horse, and the two brothers who were notified looked miserable.
"We can't use the excuse of forgetting about confinement anymore."
"I can't use being sick as an excuse anymore."
"It's even less likely that being caught by Filch will force us to delay."
The two exchanged a glance and gave up the idea of skipping solitary confinement—without any excuse, it would be no different from waiting to be expelled.
-
"George? Fred? You're here too?"
After the two of them dawdled their way to the classroom, a familiar voice came from inside.
Those who had subjected them to passive-aggressive behavior were now beaming with joy and enthusiasm, their expressions completely unchanged from before, except for a hint of embarrassment on their faces.
"Ugh, we even suspected you were playing a prank on us, this whole thing has gotten..."
Kevin apologized to the two men with an embarrassed look on his face, and the rest of the gang also came up to offer their sincere apologies—nothing could break down barriers more than being locked up together.
Naturally, the twins forgave these guys, just as they had forgiven the twins for their pranks years ago.
They even started talking about the other unfortunate guys.
"What? Li went to wash the chamber pot?"
……
Just as they were having a heated discussion, the door opened.
"Good evening, students. Come on, everyone take a test paper. Finish it first before we start our work today. Those who fail can go straight to cleaning the toilets—thanks to Mr. Tofelch, he has found another toilet that has not been assigned to be cleaned."
William revealed a rather warm and radiant expression.
"Isn't this just copying down information?"
"Even when copying materials, there must be a basic level of copying skill, otherwise the compiled materials will be unusable—so please answer the questions carefully. If the paper is too messy, you will fail directly."
William explained with a smile—there were too many students to arrange, so to make it easier to organize, he specially created a test paper by combining the entrance exam of the small website with the content of the history of magic and the management materials of the library.
"Be serious, I worked overtime this afternoon for this test paper."
Chapter 109 Fred, You Traitor!
"Hurry up, hurry up—kids, these are just simple multiple-choice questions, there's no need to make such a fuss. Do you really enjoy doing test papers?"
On the podium, William chuckled and made sarcastic remarks.
But the students below didn't even have time to shiver and tremble—although the test was all multiple choice, William only gave them half an hour to finish it, which was quite rushed for normal students, let alone the students who were caught this time.
Human energy is limited, even if one takes on the role of a wizard. Most of the students who were captured did not perform well academically, and were the type who would get a headache just looking at the exam papers.
Even though William reminded them three times in the middle, when it was time to collect the papers, some students still spontaneously started to act cute, saying, "Professor, please, just a little bit more, just a little more time."
William kindly ignored them and began collecting the exam papers from the students behind him.
However, when William finished collecting them and turned around to collect them again, the children still showed no intention of handing in their papers.
"Professor, it will be ready soon, almost there."
"Can't even finish the multiple-choice questions in thirty minutes? I felt great when I was creating the questions."
Then he saw the others trying to suppress their laughter – he had been careless!
Sure enough, these kids in solitary confinement were far more capable of outsmarting the professor than the other students.
William gave himself a warning, then strode up to the podium—if he remembered correctly, there were some textbooks left behind by previous students on the podium.
"Hmm, fourth grade, no... I've got it, these are the ones."
William took out the dusty first-grade textbooks and also took out a few worksheets for fifth graders from his bag—all first-grade questions, but even copying them from the book was quite difficult.
"I really didn't expect you guys to be so interested in the exam paper."
As William spoke, he walked quickly over and placed the textbooks and test papers on the desks of the students who were still working on their problems.
"The teacher is very touched and has decided that no matter what your test scores are, you should not have to clean the toilets. You don't need to do those test questions anymore. Tonight, each of you will complete two papers. It will be an open-book test. If your score is below E, remember to copy the entire test paper five times and bring it to me before you go to solitary confinement next time."
"Alright, what are we waiting for? Move the desks and chairs to the back of the classroom. Two sets of papers are no small number. If they haven't finished by the end of their confinement, they'll be considered to have failed."
William gave a light clap.
"Go ahead, gentlemen."
Several students, who thought they had single-handedly delayed the detention period, began to move their chairs with their wands, their faces contorted in pain. William walked back to the podium, picked up the stack of papers with a kind smile, and began to read out the names one by one.
……
“George Weasley, well, failing grade. I thought we were working together quite well—go report to Mr. Filch.”
A burst of laughter erupted from the students below—George was the third unlucky one to have to clean the toilet.
Even George himself was completely dumbfounded and found it hard to believe the result. He had copied it several times before, so why did he fail today?
"Fred Weasley, well, just barely passed. You got one more multiple choice right than George. Congratulations. You can continue copying the rest tonight and help George with his work. To be honest, your handwriting is very similar."
When Fred's name was first announced, there was a burst of laughter from below, waiting for the fourth unlucky guy to be sentenced. Even George looked at his toilet-cleaning partner with great anticipation—with Fred around, cleaning the toilet wasn't such a boring thing.
But the moment William finished speaking, the entire classroom fell silent.
As for George, he immediately put on a mask of pain, his face full of disbelief, as if to say, "How could you betray me?"
"Professor, are you sure you're not mistaken?"
Fred asked in surprise, "I was all ready to clean the toilet, how did it turn out like this?"
“That is indeed a bit unbelievable—I’ll take another look.”
"Correct."
After a thorough re-examination, William made this judgment.
Less than five minutes later, the seven unlucky eliminated students walked out of the classroom one after another, looking speechless.
-
"George?"
"George?"
After being called several times, George finally came to his senses and looked at the person who had called him.
"Hurry up—the professor said he checked the time, and if we don't get to Filch within fifteen minutes, our detention time will double."
"Double it then—Merlin's beard, Fred betrayed us!"
"It's not like he wanted to do it. On the bright side, we're still better off than those unlucky guys doing their tests at the back of the classroom, right?"
Everyone felt a sense of balance, and laughter and cheerful conversation returned to the group.
"But didn't we just take a test?"
……
Silence, silence, and more silence.
-
"Alright, I believe that most of you have grasped the basic copying principles in the simple test just now. This is a good start. Next, everyone come here to collect a stack of materials to write down. Shorthand quills and parchment are ready."
"I hope you will carefully check these documents. If any problems arise during the acceptance process, I regret to inform you that I will have to send you to Mr. Filch for further handling."
William called the students up one by one, distributed the materials, and then sat down on the podium, taking out the third-grade textbook to look through it.
As for exam papers, with enough effort, you can always make an extra one. It's quite addictive to make them—it deepens your research and ensures that your work isn't wasted. Even if you don't need the knowledge when the curse is lifted, there will still be people who appreciate your effort.
William's posture as he presented the exam question successfully startled the students below. For a moment, apart from the sound of flipping through materials, the only other sound in the classroom was the scratching of quills dancing on parchment.
"Dong dong."
