From Azkaban to Hogwarts.

Private discussions, arguments, and mockery are inevitable; at most, they won't fight.
William, who was the catalyst for this incident, was taking a normal exam and getting his grades graded normally, but it was definitely unacceptable for someone to see him going out drinking.
Because you failed all your students, and then the students got into a fight, and you went out drinking to celebrate?
That's impossible—especially since seventh-year students at Hogwarts have a light workload and often go out for practical training. If they were actually seen doing that, and then it was mentioned when they got back, the students would probably start fighting.
Although it has nothing to do with the professor, and trouble won't be directed at him, this kind of conflict should still be avoided.
"I saw the professor go out to drown his sorrows in alcohol. Look at the state of yourselves, what have you done to him?"
If students were to use similar excuses to provoke a fight and report them to the authorities, William felt he would be depressed for days.
With that in mind, William began to try wrapping himself in bandages—treating it as a costume party, better than being seen by the students and causing a fight.
"Haha~ Pfft, haha."
"what happened?"
"Hahaha, William, look in the mirror!"
Adams pulled out a mirror and placed it in front of William. In the mirror, a mummy wrapped in a black robe was shaking in a ridiculously comical way.
This prompted William to pull up his hood, and once his head was covered, he looked perfectly normal.
If the product isn't good, just use a new packaging box; if the makeup isn't good, put on a cape—it's the same principle.
"Let's go, otherwise when will we come back?"
Based on the principle that as long as I'm not embarrassed, it's the other person who's embarrassed, William left first.
"Wait, wait, don't go that way! Hogwarts has several secret passages that students don't know about, but many professors leave through that passage. I'll lead the way!"
Chapter Sixty-Six: Today at Pig's Head Bar, it's a Harmonious Day
Pig Head Bar, a strange name.
This name might be perfectly reasonable in the Muggle world, but it just feels weird in the Wizarding World.
Why not Dragon Head Bar or Mountain Monster Bar?
But this kind of question is more appropriate for students; for a professor of his age, it's a bit too naive—one of the pains of adulthood is the inability to unleash one's silly desires without restraint.
Older children and young children are the most popular; as for those in between…
After passing through the long corridor, Adams, who was leading the way, began to guide William and the others around Hogsmeade. William had thought that his strange attire would attract attention, but in the last part of the journey, almost everyone around them was dressed in the same strange way. The few people dressed normally looked incredibly conspicuous.
Turning onto a side road, William knew he had arrived at his destination without Adams, who was leading the way, explaining.
A dilapidated wooden sign hangs on a rusty bracket above the door, depicting a severed pig's head. There is no name for the place—it's called Pig Head Bar because of this pig's head.
"Is this the place?"
William raised a clear question.
During his time living in the Leaky Cauldron, a question would often pop into his mind: Is there any place in the world smaller and darker than the Leaky Cauldron?
Since the environment on the second floor was acceptable, and William was afraid of Old Tom turning on him, his question remained unanswered.
But today, this question has finally been answered.
The house was as narrow and dark as it could possibly be. Although it was a two-story building, from a distance it would definitely look like a one-and-a-half-story building with an attic.
From the outside, William couldn't even find a single window here!
Is this a bar or a nightclub?
But Adams laughed instead. "Well, that's what everyone thinks the first time they come. You'll see after you come a few more times. This is a great place."
William was dragged in, pulled and pulled.
The interior decoration did not bring him any surprises—it was cramped, dirty, dark, and had a strange smell.
The bar hadn't been expanded with magic and had no fancy decorations; it would be the worst tavern even in the Muggle world, let alone in the magical world.
That's it?
William was utterly disappointed with the highly recommended Pig's Head pub.
If it weren't for the fact that his colleague brought him there, he would have even suspected that he had been scammed by a bar girl.
"Alright, you take William to sit down first, I'll go to the bar to get some drinks."
Adams was directing Singed, who seemed to be getting high even without drinking.
Surprisingly, Singed, who always loved to banter, didn't even make a gesture before leading William to a more secluded table.
Before long, Adams arrived with a bunch of unopened bottles of wine.
"Everything here is great, except for the wine glasses. I suspect the rag the owner is wearing is a relic from the Merlin era."
Because of his words, William looked towards the bar—the owner was casually wiping a wine glass with a dirty rag, probably making it much cleaner in a while.
By the time he turned around, Adams had already taken out his own cup and filled it to the brim.
A glass of wine, steaming and flaming.
The other two had already eagerly poured the wine down their throats. William carefully unwrapped the bandage, took a sip—it wasn't as strong as he had imagined.
After he confidently downed half a glass, the two people at the table had already started their second glass.
"Phew, it tastes just like before!"
Adams raised his glass, downed it in one gulp to William's astonishment, then picked up his third glass and began circling the bar.
William gave up drinking and began to follow Adams' actions with his eyes.
First, there was a guy with bandages on his wrist. The two shared a drink, and Adams snatched a bottle from his table. Then, at the next table, the other person waved him off, and Adams immediately turned and jumped to another table…
"Is his alcohol tolerance that low?"
"No, he's just venting. He'll be fine after the lap."
The alchemy professor sipped his wine, his tone unusually relaxed.
"Alright, Professor William, I'd like to have a quiet drink for a while and wait for Adams to come back so he can explain things to you. He's more talkative than ever right now."
Seeing that William seemed to be asking more questions, Singed rested one hand on the table, clearly indicating his refusal to continue the conversation.
William could only quietly drink while watching Adams wander around the room like a headless fly.
As Adams swayed and drank, his steps soon became unsteady. He stumbled over to a table where two people were quietly chatting. The two men who were interrupted looked annoyed, and William even thought they were going to fight. But before he could stand up, they shooed Adams away like flies.
When Adams turned back, the half of his face not covered by the hood was already flushed.
"The Pighead Bar is still the best—William, wanna grab a drink?"
"Come."
William downed the rest of the glass in one gulp, poured in the wine Adams had somehow gotten his hands on, and casually checked the dung stone in his inner pocket—a universal antidote in potions—good, it was still there.
"cheers."
"cheers."
Adams lay on the table, tilting his head to look at William.
“Hey William, look, Pighead Bar, right? No bar outside is as comfortable as this one—and let me tell you, nobody here cares who you are, even though most people come here to buy and sell things, there are plenty of people like me who just want to drink.”
"Being a professor is tiring. You have to keep a straight face with students, otherwise those brats will burn a hole in the roof with magic, which is the least of your worries. You want to chat with someone? Hey, your former professor, your former professor's professor, your former principal, are you going to chat with students?"
"Singed is usually a quiet guy. Nobody knows him here, and he can even stay there for an entire afternoon. Don't let his quiet demeanor fool you, he really likes it here!"
Is this even possible?
William glanced over curiously and found that the alchemy professor wasn't even looking at them, as if he was enjoying some peace and quiet.
Adams ignored William's reaction and kept rambling on about the troubles of being a professor at Hogwarts—he probably just wanted to talk and didn't care whether anyone was listening. William understood what Singed meant earlier.
After understanding this, William began to pay close attention to his surroundings.
Admittedly, as Adams said, this is a good place because everyone can indulge themselves freely here because of the makeup service. In addition, William discovered three guys trading counterfeit goods, so this place probably also serves as Hogwarts' black market.
'This shop is interesting—but who's the owner, that the school would turn a blind eye to illegal transactions here?'
'Why am I thinking about all that? I came out here to have fun, why am I worrying about all that—Holy crap!'
William mentally grumbled as he tried to dodge, but he was too slow; Adams had already vomited.
Chapter Sixty-Seven: You're in for a surprise!
"Completely cleaned up."
William waved his wand, clearing away the mess on the table and handing Adams a glass of water.
But the latter had already given up and was lying motionless on the table, which made William grin. He was a poor drinker with a big appetite. Where did he get the courage to go around toasting people with such a low alcohol tolerance?
William tidied up the floor in annoyance, waiting for the boss to come and warn him—no matter what, spitting things directly on the table or almost into a glass in a bar was going too far.
However, after waiting for a long time, the boss showed no sign of coming over, and even the people around didn't react to what had just happened—it was as if someone vomiting on the table was a perfectly normal thing.
William's face turned pale instantly—damn, the floor of this lousy bar is a bit sticky when I came in, even though I confirmed it was made of stone when I cleaned it!
The alchemy professor, who seemed determined to enjoy his time alone, reached for his wand, but after discovering that William had tidied up well, he simply hid away as if he were someone who had come to share a table.
'If I remember correctly, we came here as a group to drink?'
William glanced at his companions, one of whom was passed out drunk and the other had become withdrawn, then looked at his own half-empty bottle of wine, and suddenly fell into a state of existential doubt.
Almost all the customers here wear masks, so it's obviously impossible to find someone to chat and brag with like at Leaky Cauldron.
Bored out of his mind, William could only glance around at what the others were doing while picking up his wine glass to pass the time.
While in Azkaban, a group of prisoners would pass the time by guessing what new recruits would do. Of course, there were always some stakes involved. After hanging out with them for a while, William picked up a bit of that habit himself.
William could tell at a glance that the sorcerer at the leftmost table was selling counterfeit goods; items at that price point shouldn't be in such a run-down bar.
At the next table, William wasn't quite sure if the witch flirting with a male wizard was actually a witch—William was very aware of the existence of Polyjuice Potion, and wizards who could come to this place probably didn't care much about whether that stuff was illegal or not.
The people at the table on the right were clearly newbies; the two of them were nervously looking around, probably because it was their first time in an underground bar like this.
In addition, he's a bit short and doesn't look like a girl—he's obviously a minor looking for thrills.
And over there...
