From Azkaban to Hogwarts.

William watched as the students clumsily moved the tables, then shouted to everyone in a stern tone.
"Don't think I'm joking. I'm announcing here that if anyone can come up with a complete, self-consistent theory that refutes my point of view before the end of this semester, you will not only be exempt from the final exam, but you will also directly receive one of my spells. I believe this is an absolutely exclusive spell."
"Of course, you can also forgo the spell in exchange for three hundred Galleons—I hope you choose that option."
The professor's bounty drove everyone into a frenzy. They all paid close attention to every word William said—after all, the professor's theory was too absurd and seemed too easy to refute.
"Russell, come to the front," William casually pointed to one of them. The boy hesitated for a moment, then immediately ran to the front.
"Be careful, I'm about to use the Disarming Charm. You can attack or defend."
"Yes, Professor!"
His reaction was incredibly fast; upon answering "yes," he quickly drew his wand and immediately cast a spell on William.
However, before his Stunning Spell could hit William, his wand had already flown into the air.
“Excellent,” William exclaimed, dodging the slightly delayed Stunning Spell as he caught the student’s wand perfectly.
He casually waved his hand, and the wand flew straight toward its original owner, only slowing down and falling back down at the last moment.
“Disarming Charm,” William turned to all the students, “a spell that even lower-grade students can master. Too many wizards have fallen victim to this spell. Losing your wand is not a good thing for a wizard.”
"But he seems to be able to resist it easily..."
"Of course, if this kind of magic is not easy to block, then I estimate that everyone will be forced to learn it on the first day of school."
"But...Professor, what does this have to do with your theory?"
Another child boldly asked a question.
“No, it’s too important,” William gently shook his head at the child who asked the question. “The disarming spell just now was only a qualified one.”
"It's called the Disarming Charm, not the Wand Disarming Charm, and it's definitely not the Spell that targets spells."
"Of course, I'm not saying that research on it necessarily doesn't increase its power. There are so many directions in which a spell can be researched and improved. What I'm about to say is just my personal opinion. Although it doesn't increase power, but..."
William began to patrol the classroom, and amidst the puzzled gazes of all the students, he quickly set his sights on a spider.
“The following experiment is a bit too out of place. I hope you will not think of using such spells on wizards, Muggles or other intelligent races in the future. If such a thing really happens, I think I will give up my professorship and apply for an Auror position.”
William addressed all the students solemnly while summoning the spider using a summoning spell.
"Everyone, pay attention."
He hovered the spider in mid-air above the lectern while shouting to the students.
Then, a piece of parchment was taken out and placed on the table.
William tapped the parchment with his left finger, causing it to enlarge rapidly and cover the entire podium. He then waved his wand with his right hand, causing the spider to stop on it.
Then, William used his wand to make the spider expand rapidly, ensuring that everyone could see it clearly.
At this moment, some people had already let out exclamations of surprise at having been interrupted.
"I repeat myself: during my tenure, if any graduate uses similar spells against intelligent beings, I will take responsibility for dealing with that student."
As William spoke, he raised his wand in front of everyone, "Watch closely!"
"Except your weapons!"
The disarming charm that everyone was familiar with, the same light, the same incantation—however, to everyone's astonishment, one of the spider's legs was torn off and flew towards the professor.
William flicked the wand slightly, and it immediately landed on the podium at an even faster speed than before.
“Slightly improved spells, by changing the definition of weapons, can produce quite terrifying attack effects.”
For a moment, the classroom fell silent, with only the sound of breathing remaining.
"Then, Professor... if a wizard loses his wand, won't his weapon be his fists...?"
A Ravenclaw child realized almost instantly that he had interrupted himself halfway through his speculation.
"The same effect can be achieved with the Flying Spell..."
William took a breath, then raised his wand again. "Spider Legs, come here!"
Under everyone's watchful eyes, the spider twisted its other leg into a bizarre angle, then detached from its original body and flew towards William, only to be knocked back onto the podium by William.
This time, you couldn't even hear a breath coming from the classroom.
“Not only that,” William said, looking at the students, “once you have enough knowledge and understanding of a spell, you can modify it according to your understanding… Of course, it’s not just about violence; some modifications are simply to weaken the spell’s power or, in other words, to enhance certain effects.”
"I've also tried to improve some magic, though not many, but... if I try to make them more damaging, most of the spells end up in a bizarre way..."
Chapter 292 A Messy and Amazing Lesson on the Protection of Magical Creatures
"Upon seeing the princess steal the command token, I couldn't help but feel overjoyed, and stood at the palace gate—cough cough…"
Sitting in his office, William meticulously wrote down the inspirations that came to him in class, line by line. As he wrote down each and every magic idea that he envisioned could be improved, he even found himself humming some random little tunes.
Unfortunately, when he got to the crucial point, he still couldn't get up there, and instead, he started coughing.
The owl, who was busy eating a bowl of food at the table, couldn't help but raise its head and look at William curiously. After realizing that William seemed to be talking to himself, it decisively buried its head back into the food bowl, ignoring everything else.
“Great, fantastic,” William said, oblivious to the owl’s glance at him. He picked up the parchment he had finished writing on and examined it closely before chuckling as he began to find loopholes in his own writing.
“Black magic can’t be included, nor can the Guardian Charm. Perhaps some other magics are also excluded, but there are already enough magics that can be categorized.”
"But that's not enough. I need to learn more magic before I can get what I want..."
William couldn't quite put his finger on what it was, but it seemed to be there, vaguely.
"I need to go to the library. Fortunately, Hogwarts' library is big enough that I can borrow plenty of pages."
Despite having this thought in mind, William first went over and rubbed his owl's head, stopping contentedly before it tried to bite his fingers in dissatisfaction, before getting up and heading to the school library.

"Damn it, that cat!"
Little Pettigrew slid down from the table and burrowed under the bed.
Wizards have always had the habit of keeping cats as pets. From before he came to Hogwarts until now, the castle has never lacked cats. However, he never expected to encounter such an annoying cat.
"Squeak!"
It made a threatening sound, but to no avail—neither Muggle cats nor wizard cats are generally afraid of mice.
'Damn pet store, selling untrained cats to customers!'
The thought popped into his head, but before that, he had already crawled under the bed.
"Sizzle~"
The sound of cat paws scratching at something came along the bed, extremely strange, making Peter Pettigrew, who had transformed into a mouse, shiver involuntarily.
'Change back, and kill that damn cat!'
Such a crazy idea popped into his head, but he immediately dismissed it.
'I can't transform. If I'm discovered, even Azkaban won't be able to protect me!'
As Blake's former sidekick, he knew the madman better than anyone else. If that guy could fight his way out of Azkaban for him, he could just as easily rush into Azkaban and kill him.
'No, absolutely, absolutely not!'
"Meow!!!"
In the instant he was distracted, a huge cat's head popped out from under the bed.
He didn't even have the slightest thought of resistance before he shot out from under the bed like an arrow.
The thought of transforming had completely vanished from his mind; all he wanted to do now was get away from the cat—'Ron, where are you?'
He thought of this subconsciously, but his speed did not decrease at all.
I ran through the dormitory, down the stairs, and weaved through all sorts of clutter.
"Look, that cat!"
Wow, that mouse runs really fast!
"Tsk tsk, what an ugly cat!"
During the chase, several Gryffindor students witnessed the scene, but none of them cared – everyone knew that pet cats wouldn't attack pet mice, so the mouse was most likely a wild rat from the castle.
"Come on! Hurry up, you're about to succeed!"
The Gryffindors passing by even cheered the cat on—because of the house-elves' hard work, mice were rare in the castle, and mice caught by cats were even rarer.
Such sounds were incessant, and Little Star even felt he could feel the breath of that damned ugly cat behind him.
Just when he was about to despair, he suddenly saw a familiar face.
As if he had met a savior, he ran over as fast as he could, then leaped onto Ron's body before finally trembling with relief.
"Get away from me, you damn ugly cat!"
Ron's high-pitched voice, a product of puberty, reached his ears, bringing him an immense sense of security.
Then, a whooshing sound rang out, and he saw Ron kick the ugly cat.
'Well done!'
The squeaking sound made Ron stop paying attention to the cat and start focusing on his mouse.
"Are you alright, Banban?"
Ron picked up his mouse with one hand and examined it carefully and nervously.
"Meow!"
The cat on the ground let out a strange cry and pounced directly at Ron's arm.
"Obstacles are numerous!"
"Smack!"
Meow~~~~~~
The three voices were heard almost simultaneously. Hermione's cat, Crookshanks, gradually slid down from mid-air. It barely turned around when it was about to hit the ground. Realizing that it had no chance of a successful sneak attack, it let out a long cry and ran towards the entrance of the lounge.
"My God!" Ron looked in the direction Crookshanks had disappeared into the distance before realizing what had happened. "Thank you, Harry."
He gasped for breath, a wave of fear washing over him—if Harry hadn't reacted in time to stop the cat, who knows what would have happened.
