From Azkaban to Hogwarts.

"Listen to me, you will use this name now to make a lasting impression, and then walk around here three times, each time thinking about opening the room that belongs to me, Professor William."
The order was strange, but Percy carried it out quite seriously—just as Professor Binns said, Percy was the most serious of all the students.
'one two three.'
The door appeared, and William led Percy inside to check—unfortunately, it was the one William had said he needed to open.
'This magic can be exploited in the right way,' William nodded, undeterred, and began to pull Percy along to experiment with the next loophole to look for.
……
'Those guys really should stay in Azkaban…'
After a long day of testing, and seeing off the cooperative and undemanding Percy, William couldn't help but curse inwardly. How could this incompetent fellow find so many flaws, big and small, in the magic of the Room of Requirement?
Although such complaints might seem like teaching a student to starve the master, a slight comparison allows William to imagine—given the fragile financial network of the magical world, if those people were allowed to freely exploit loopholes, the magical society would probably have collapsed long ago.

"Fred, your vacation ends the day after tomorrow!"
“I know,” Fred replied, lying on the bed with a look of utter despair.
"The entire spring break, the entire spring break nights spent in solitary confinement—doesn't Professor William have anything to do?"
“Yes,” Fred said weakly, “like teaching classes and setting exams, but the subjects have changed to us.”
"Boom boom boom!"
There was a knock on their dormitory door, and then a boy they didn't know very well called out cheerfully from outside, "Weasley brothers, Professor William asked me to tell you that you don't have to go to detention tonight!"
As if by some kind of magic, the two salted fish lying there turned into lively catfish.
"Let's go, let's go to the House of Requirement!"
Fred immediately pulled his brother up, "Before school starts, we need to study that place carefully!"
"Aren't you afraid of running into a professor?"
"What a coincidence! I've heard that Professor William has been hanging around the Room of Requirement a lot lately!"
Fred said firmly, "The sudden lifting of the lockdown must mean there's been a big discovery. The stuff has probably been moved to the office. We can take this opportunity to thoroughly investigate that room!"
“But if they don’t move it, we’ll definitely get arrested and probably face another long period of confinement—” George joked, without a trace of fear in his eyes.
“The solitary confinement at the Room of Requirement has already passed, and besides—” Fred replied with a laugh, “when have we ever stopped exploring because we’re afraid of being locked up?”
-
Their worries were unnecessary, because William really didn't have the time to stake out the students anymore.
He figured out the magic the Dark Lord used at that unique angle on the blackboard, copied down the useful parts, and is currently deciphering it.
However, those things were of little value, mostly analyses of dark magic and such. The real time-waster was that huge room where William had been hiding things, a room he still hadn't finished cleaning up.
However, even in that room, William had already found most of its essential parts.
William ignored all the random potions, utensils, magical items, and cursed objects, spending his time, apart from being confined, rummaging through piles of books looking for anything that might be useful.
Although most of the books were available in the library, William still found a bunch of books that didn't exist there—these books have now come back to life from the dust and are happily decorating the bookshelves in William's living room.
'Just looking at the bookshelves, I'd definitely think I'm a dark wizard.'
Holding his wand, William carefully examined his haul—these books, which would be considered forbidden for ordinary students, weren't safe just by being left here. He had to carefully give these books, which had only undergone initial protection, a second treatment.
Books that make sounds shut up and behave, books that cast curses are tied up with enchanted ropes, and books that fight are tied up even more tightly. Then stuff some Dumbledore's Chocolate Frog cards next to these books—it really works.
While the Chocolate Frog cards themselves don't possess any particularly powerful magic, they genuinely can silence those books—'This is an Azkaban book-hiding technique that's neither scientific nor magical.'
William always thought it was a joke by the person who taught him, but he tried it today, and although it wasn't as effective as expensive insulating materials, it really worked.
-
"George, we've arrived!"
Just as William was busy organizing his suddenly increased collection of books, two teenagers appeared at the door of the Room of Requirement.
"It's good that we've arrived, but what exactly are we supposed to do?"
"I secretly bribed Ginny to find out what Professor William has been busy with. She told us that Percy has been spending money extravagantly on his dates these past few days."
Fred looked proud and clearly didn't think there was anything wrong with bribing his sister to find out about his date—but unfortunately, the twins always shared the same opinion.
"Damn it, why is everyone busy with the professor's side, and we can't get a single Nate?"
George rolled his eyes, but only complained—he knew perfectly well why he was being put in solitary confinement.
"Alright, let's not go for that, but—wait a minute?"
Fred was about to say that they didn't value Galon when he suddenly stopped.
“Nat—yes, we need money, right?”
“I thought you’d know this as soon as you woke up every day, my brother,” George said dramatically. “Don’t forget, we’re buying all sorts of materials to experiment with, so we’re practically splitting a Nate in two!”
"Yes, we need all sorts of materials to realize our dream. We have a considerable amount of funds left over, but it's far, far away—I mean, do you remember when the professor told us not to trust anything with a mind of its own?"
“Yes—but Ginny has been arrested, and Lockhart is in the hospital…” George paused for a moment.
You mean that?
Yes, that one!
"You're crazy. That's the older generation showing their care for the younger generation. Didn't we say we were going to give it to the adventurous Gryffindor who needed it?"
"Yes, we never felt that we should possess that thing. But don't forget, it has a mind of its own!"
"That was just a task, and we completed it step by step, revealing all its secrets to us!"
"... "
“I remember we had an argument about something like that—though I don’t remember exactly, I think we did.”
"Forgotten!"
The two looked at each other and burst into laughter.
"Alright then, the professor is doing this for the students' own good. Maybe we were just eyeing the Galleons Percy got back then..."
"Perhaps we're discussing Ginny's amnesia?"
"Let's leave it to the professor. I trust he won't misuse that thing."
"I still feel this isn't right... No... If the professor can find students so easily, we're doomed..."
"Then let's make a bet with the professor, betting that he can't find... the pranks of his predecessors... Filch didn't find them, Dumbledore didn't find them either... let's see what the new professor is capable of?"
-
"Huh? Didn't I tell you yesterday that you wouldn't be in solitary confinement anymore?"
William was surprised by the sudden visit of the two men; he couldn't understand why they would come to his room when he wasn't in solitary confinement.
"Professor, it's like this..."
The two looked at their brother, hoping he would go up and explain—but in the end, Fred couldn't resist and stepped forward.
"Professor, we'd like to make a bet with you."
"bet?"
William stared at the two in astonishment. He couldn't understand why these two kids had the audacity to come over—students involved in gambling were already in solitary confinement; weren't they just asking to get themselves killed?
"What are you gambling?"
William was too engrossed in studying his newly acquired books to bother with their accounts—he was tired of being confined.
"I'll bet you a blueprint of all the secret passages at Hogwarts that we have."
This is no small gamble—don't be fooled by the fact that they are just two children; even Filch had secretly told William that these two knew more about the secret passages than he did.
This is what William wants, but he can't possibly coerce or bribe a student into handing it over; what professor would do that?
“Bet—” Fred wanted to take out the picture, but he hesitated in the end—they couldn’t just hand over the most valuable treasure left by their predecessors’ prank to the professor, especially since William was just too wicked.
Fortunately, he was quick-witted. "Let's bet on a potion. Professor, you said the other day that our potion wasn't good enough. So I want to see what a good potion looks like. If you can develop the effects we described, I'll sell you the blueprint for 100 Galleons. If you can't, you can take it for 300 Galleons!"
'This is different from what you said!'
George communicated with his eyes, but didn't dare to say anything, and he was also shocked by Fred's huge appetite.
One hundred Galleons!
"I'll take the gamble. Give me the blueprints, and give me the demands."
While he hesitated, William agreed without hesitation—his reward for the secret chamber was a thousand gallons, and the blueprints for the castle's secret passage were well worth it.

Chapter 226 The Most Dangerous Test of Dark Magic…
The twins said the potion they requested wasn't difficult, but it was quite novel.
A highly concentrated potion that can take effect quickly and then be canceled just as quickly—and requires the potion's effects to be relatively natural.
The requirements were a bit high, but the price was also very good. The price of the secret passage map would be reduced by 200 Galleons after it was made. 200 Galleons for a custom potion is not a cheap order in the potion-making business. In fact, it can be said to be ridiculously expensive.
"It's a bit complicated, but I'm sure I'll win this bet."
William smiled and accepted the potion request form, then began to open the so-called secret passage map that the twins had given him.
'A completely empty parchment?'
William paused for a moment, then looked up at the twins, who were smiling happily—they didn't look like they were there to deliver groceries.
"Hidden by magic?"
“Yes, Professor,” the two of them tried to suppress their laughter and respond in a serious tone, “it was like this when we found it, and it took us a long time to discover its secret.”
"Another test?"
