Chapter 90 A New Year's Letter to My Readers

Dear fellow book lovers:

Zhan Xinyue.

With everyone's company, another year has passed.

This year has been full of events, a year of great changes, heavy and serious, with some helplessness and some expectations for the future.

Let me give you an update on the situation and chat for a bit.

I've been very careful during this time, but on the front lines of clinical care, it's still unavoidable to get a fever.

My symptoms were okay; my fever reached 38.1℃ and it subsided in a day and a half. I didn't have any other symptoms such as swallowing razor blades, sealing my nose with cement, or having a severe cough.

But afterwards, the number of inpatients in the entire respiratory department reached a record high since the hospital was founded, and we were extremely busy. I worked almost all night on the second night shift, and after the night shift, I felt unwell all over, and the next day I started having a fever again.

Although it only burned to around 37.5 degrees Celsius, the experience was quite poor.

I'm speechless.

Based on personal experience, it is essential to rest for a period of time after a positive test, at least a month. Avoid staying up late and engaging in strenuous exercise.

It's said that Boss Mei didn't run for a month and a half after recovering from COVID-19, which seems to make sense.

Every time I have a fever, I start to shiver 2-3 hours after falling asleep, and then I feel listless the next day.

Everyone must be careful and avoid strenuous exercise, staying up late, etc.

From my experience, these are all practices that are generally not very good for recovery.

That said, I've been feeling a bit uneasy lately as I see my dwindling stockpile of chapters, but I don't dare to write like I usually do. Maintaining 6,000 words a day is already my limit, but I'm still glad I haven't stopped updating.

I hope it won't stop. What I'm more anxious about now is whether I'll get a fever again.

Because I only update 6000 words a day, the plot unfolds a bit slowly, and I'm adjusting accordingly. For example, I initially focused on multi-perspective commentary on variety shows, but later gradually switched to dual-perspective.

Emmm, that's all for now.

Wishing all my book lovers good health and prosperity in the new year.

Sincerely,

salute
