Monsters: Evolving from Titans to Ancient Gods

Chapter 27 Godzilla and the Giant Ape

An earthquake-like roar rose across the plains of the inner world as a herd of giant mammoths, covered in thick fur and standing over seventy meters tall at the shoulder, gathered together.

This group of super-species, evolving along a similar path to the Titan Behemoth, is surrounding a wounded white behemoth.

Long, yellowish-brown nose-like appendages extended down onto the eight-legged, horse-like behemoth, seemingly soothing its pain.

The giant elephants seemed to possess a rich array of emotions; they gazed at the white behemoth lying in a pool of blood, letting out low growls, their pupils filled with lingering memories and sorrow.

They were not the same kind as the giant horses, nor had they ever lived together. They only existed because they witnessed this tragedy and were reminded of the past experiences of their kind.

Longbo stood on a distant hilltop, watching all of this. His exceptional eyesight allowed him to clearly see the emerald green blood on the eight-legged horse surrounded by mammoths, as well as several broken and twisted hooves.

Its heart rate slowed down, and its life magnetic field flickered like a candle flame in the wind, as if its life had come to an end.

It trembled in fear, surrounded by a herd of mammoths, its body panting uncontrollably, its eyes revealing a mixture of fear and a primal longing as it looked at the mammoths.

Seeing all this, Longbo felt that this eight-legged horse was strange. The horse was about to die, but it was still staring at the herd of migrating mammoths with a complicated expression.

This gave Longbo an unusual premonition.

But before Longbo could think about it further, a rumbling sound came from behind him, followed by a series of terrified roars, causing him to turn around and look into the distance.

Dust rose at the horizon, forests collapsed like weeds, and in the smog that blotted out the sky, seemingly endless shadows appeared and disappeared.

The rare phenomenon of all beasts fleeing in terror sent shivers down the spine of the land, with a continuous stream of creatures being disturbed and joining the wave of escape.

Creatures common in the inner world burst out of the forest and pounced toward Longbo, only to be knocked down by the wartdogs surrounding them in the next second.

During the frenzied attack, trees were leveled and the ground was in disarray. One after another, wartdogs joined the attack, quickly tearing the giant beast to pieces, with green blood splattered everywhere.

But just a few seconds later, several more giant beasts fled in from afar, roaring uneasily, their eyes filled with terror at something.

The wartdogs repeatedly intercepted and tore at it, but due to the increased number of giant beasts, they were overwhelmed and instead knocked away, falling near Longbo.

But as several wartdogs rose from the smoke and dust, shook their heads, bared their teeth, and prepared to attack again, a glimpse of blue light in their peripheral vision froze them. They then instinctively shrank back and retreated.

A beam of azure light, crackling with electric-like energy, swept across the Wartdog's head, its vibrant color obscuring everything, and a destructive surge engulfed the out-of-control beast horde.

With a deafening roar, the sudden explosion swept everything away, annihilating the fleeing beast horde. Terrifying flames and smoke ravaged the land.

The flames collided and then dissipated into black smoke, but the high temperature that filled the air did not decrease.

A raging hurricane, carrying a wave of heat, crashed towards him, whipping up Lombard's cloak and black hair, making them flutter wildly in the wind.

Until everything finally calmed down, amidst the chaotic dust, a deep, abyss-like rift stretched across a corner of the Earth's core, as wide as a canyon and extending to the horizon, cutting off the path of the beasts.

The giant beasts at the forefront were annihilated by Longbo's charged particle cannons, and the giant beasts that survived by chance also fell into the abyss without warning.

Longbo's four eyes pierced through the endless smoke and dust, and saw that at the end of the mountains in another region, the same azure breaths were sweeping across, piercing through the mountains and tearing apart the continental plates above.

The atomic behemoth's breath continuously illuminated the sky, each roar containing immense power.

The battle taking place in that area was fought by the atomic behemoth Godzilla that Lumbert had once seen, as well as Dagon, the nameless Titan, and the young Lidor.

Their opponents are dozens of silverback gorillas, whose size and strength are close to those of Titans. They wield giant axes made from the dorsal fins of atomic behemoths to resist the power of atomic breath and constantly fight against several Titans.

"Godzilla, the Kong family..."

Seeing this, Longbo knew what was happening. If nothing unexpected happened, this was the final battle between the Atomic Behemoth race and the King Kong race.

The final outcome of the battle appears to be that only Godzilla and Dagon remain of the Atomic Beast race, while the Kong race is almost completely wiped out, leading to Skull Island rising to the surface, but also preserving the last remaining Kong bloodline.

Longbo immediately became interested and walked in that direction, preparing to "mediate" the two sides in the fight on an equal footing.

In the battlefield stretching to the horizon, Godzilla seemed to feel a strong gaze upon it, snorting as it turned its head. Despite sensing a powerful presence, it found nothing in its eyes.

After failing to find anything, Godzilla once again faced the massive giant gorilla before it, its beastly pupils slightly contracting, its entire body radiating blue light, and its dorsal fin shining as brightly as the sun.

"Buzz...buzz...buzz..."

Atomic breath shot out with a rapid buzzing sound, and deadly rays swept across the battlefield. Even the giant gorilla with its energy-absorbing battle axe was no match for it.

The atomic behemoth swept across, plowing the earth with unstoppable force. Its terrifying power tore through rock layers, and the shattered remains of the earth were scattered like rubble amidst the roar. One after another, giant apes wielding giant axes were engulfed by its breath.

Another piece of land at the edge of the sky was also affected, with terrifying ravines pierced through it. Flames raged in the Earth's core, and temperatures soared, resembling the end of the world.

The giant ape king, in the prime of its life, witnessed all of this. Enraged, it roared like thunder and, wielding its giant axe, launched a fierce attack with an earthquake-like roar.

Faced with the giant ape's rage, Godzilla's beastly face twitched, its eyes revealing a cryptic meaning, and it snorted as if expressing its disdain.

Two Titans clashed on the desolate battlefield, their roar filling the air. Blue battle axes cleaved through scales, their unstoppable breaths leveling mountains and tearing the earth apart, a magnificent and awe-inspiring spectacle.

In a corner of the battlefield, Titan Ridor, now over fifty meters tall, ignored the volcano raging beneath its feet and, looking at Godzilla's powerful and imposing figure, couldn't help but let out an excited roar.

As Longbo crossed the canyon and raced to the end of the beast tide, a beam of azure atomic breath shot straight into the sky, piercing through another continent and announcing the victor of the war.

Dozens of powerful behemoths clashed, their powerful breaths turning the entire rich and boundless region into a wasteland, with the ground crumbling and flames and lava raging.

The geology erupted under the power of Godzilla's breath, unleashing astonishing force that pushed an entire mountain range into the sky, disappearing into the underground tunnel at the top of the continent.

The battle came to a complete end, and Longbo stopped running, standing in the midst of the raging, scorching storm, looking up at this scene that was rarely seen in billions of years.

"..."

"As expected, I need to find a way to give myself the ability to fly..."

The red light shone on Longbo's bone mask. Although he was very agile, it did not mean that he was fast. In a battle at this distance, he couldn't even catch a hot meal.
