"Hydra and the Ten Rings, that's quite unexpected."

Tony's gaze swept over the two people in front of him.

As he spoke, Karim of the Ten Rings glanced at Mitchell with surprise. It was the first time Karim had ever heard the name "Hydra," and he had no idea who his allies were before.

Mitchell felt as if a thunderbolt had struck him.

The tin-clad guy called out his name!

Why?

Even if the other party recognized him, they should only recognize him as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Mitchell was certain that his public identity shouldn't be aroused suspicion from Nick Fury for the time being.

So who exactly is inside this armor? How does he even know such a secret?

In that instant, Mitchell felt as if he were completely naked in front of the other. The armor's icy blue gaze seemed to see through everything, revealing even the deepest secrets hidden in the corners of one's heart.

"I was just passing by at first, but now I'm starting to get curious."

Tony stood looking down at the two men, questioning them in a cold voice.

"What are Hydra doing in a place like this?"

Mitchell scoffed. "I have no idea what you're talking about. If you expect to get even a single word of information from me, you're seriously underestimating me..."

Karim, standing to the side, also retorted, "The warriors of the holy war will never yield."

Tony nodded: "Okay, I'll ask again..."

Twenty seconds later, Iron Man, propelled by flames, hovered 500 meters above the ground, holding Karim and Mitchell in his hands, one in each hand.

"What are Hydra doing in a place like this?" Tony repeated the question.

With his ankles pinned up and head down by armor, Karim felt dizzy looking down at the city still shrouded in smoke. He immediately blurted out, "It's...it's a lab! They want to build a military base on my territory and set up a top-secret lab!"

Mitchell, who was also being held in mid-air, glared at the unyielding leader of the Ten Rings and sneered, "A holy warrior will never surrender, huh?"

However, Karim didn't mince words in the face of his sarcastic remarks, directly retorting, "Bullshit! You guys give me nothing but empty words and refuse to help me with even a little political support. How much money did you give me? Why should I risk my life?"

Mitchell was furious and wanted to say something more, but Karim ignored him completely and continued to reveal everything he knew: "I never knew what kind of octopus or hydra they were. They never trusted us and never told us anything."

They provide the weapons, we provide the territory, it's that simple. They want to build a base in my territory because it's a war zone, chaotic enough, and Ten Rings territory. If you want to hide things, this is the place to be.

"A lab? What do they research?" Tony asked, intrigued.

Mitchell still stared wide-eyed: "No comment."

Mitchell, however, remained remarkably composed, seemingly unconcerned about his own life. Perhaps he truly was a die-hard member of the Hydra cult.

But Karim was clearly different. He immediately confessed, "I don't know. We only lent them the space, designating an area for their organization. They wouldn't let our people in, not even near that area..."

However, Karim quickly changed the subject, adding, "But if you want to know, you can go and see for yourself! It's in that direction, not far."

Held upside down in mid-air, Karim laboriously raised his hand and pointed in a certain direction.

Tony turned his head, his gaze passing over the city hall and looking towards a spot in the valley behind him.

The armored vehicle's camera zoomed in automatically, and the scanner performed various scans. Jarvis quickly reported back: "Hidden facilities detected."

This guy wasn't lying; there's a Hydra base right here. There's a top-secret laboratory inside.

Hydra is probably hiding some very shady projects in this place.

Seeing that there was no hope of stopping the unstoppable armored vehicles before him, Mitchell said grimly, "Stark's men, right?"

Tony looked at him again: "Oh?"

"Don't think I don't know. Who are you to Stark? His super bodyguard? The operative who operates this high-tech suit?"

Mitchell sneered.

"Yes, I know where you come from. You can go back and tell your master that you have messed with the wrong people, understand? Hydra's power is beyond your imagination, and Hydra will not let this go!"

I don't know who you are, maybe a professional assassin, or a super mercenary... but it doesn't matter. Because you've messed with Hydra, your fancy armor can't protect you, and neither can your powerful master..."

Tony smiled.

Mitchell believed that the bodyguards inside the Iron Man armor were his own, which should be based on records in the S.H.I.E.L.D. files.

"You're right, but there's something you've probably overlooked," Tony said calmly. "I've said it before, I destroyed all the signal nodes and blocked all the signals."

Furthermore, everyone who saw me come here up to this point is dead... except for the two of you."

Karim's face fell. "Wait...wait! I've already told you what you want, you can't..."

Then, amidst the horrified and angry looks in their eyes, Iron Man released his grip from his armor.

From a height of 500 meters, a terrorist leader and a Hydra spy fell with screams and curses, finally turning into two blood-red blobs on the ground that would probably have to be pixelated if shown on screen.

Now, this has become another perfect infiltration.

No living person saw him come. If this doesn't count as a perfect infiltration, then what does?

Of course, even so, Tony still added two arc pulse cannons—to ensure that his enemy's body wouldn't crawl out of his grave sometime in the future due to supernatural phenomena.

Turning him to ashes would put his mind at ease a little.

Then, Tony took off and turned, his foot thrusters propelling him straight to the Hydra facility he had just marked, hidden in the valley.

The facility is entirely hidden inside the mountain, with only an inconspicuous metal door under a rock.

If someone hadn't pointed out the direction and then used armored vehicles for targeted scanning, it would have been very difficult to find this place.

The entrance was marked on the screen inside the armor. Tony lowered his altitude, approached the locked door, and aimed the arc pulse cannon in his right hand at the door.

"Knock, Jarvis."

The blue-green electric arc pulse beam blasted the heavy metal door panel, charring and deforming it, and sent it flying inside.

A piercing alarm immediately sounded within the base. Iron Man's jet boots propelled him forward, and the Mark VI vibranium suit swept straight in.

Hydra soldiers shouted and fired their guns, but their resistance was nothing compared to the newly vibranium-plated Mark VI.

Tony barely felt any resistance; he basically pushed his way through the passage, blasting open any doors he saw—even the fire along the way was automatically fired by his armored vehicle, so there was nothing he had to do personally.

With effortless, unstoppable mowing down of enemies, Iron Man blasted a bloody path through the air and arrived at the heart of the facility.

That is, the location of Hydra's laboratory hidden in this war zone.

Jarvis: "Sir, plutonium-239 has been detected, along with reactions involving the fusion materials deuterium and tritium."

Tony raised an eyebrow.

In an instant, he understood what the Hydra madman was secretly developing in this mountain.

They are building nuclear bombs.
