Chapter 68 Yazi (Part Two)

After waiting for a while, Lynn realized that there was no chance to launch another sneak attack, so he fled into the forest.

The forest was full of big trees, the trunks of which were covered with moss. The ground was slightly damp, with piles of decaying leaves that had collected rainwater.

Lynn walked a distance into the depths, and after using his mental power to confirm that no one was around, he hid the Alchemy Lab Cube under the decaying leaves, and then opened the Alchemy Lab's true form and entered it.

Spending the night in the primeval forest is not as pleasant as enjoying a warm bed in the alchemy lab.

Upon entering the alchemy lab, Lynn was immediately struck by the strong stench of blood. Lauren was crouching on the ground, where a large pool of blood lay.

Bova was kneeling behind Lauren, tenderly stitching up his wound.

Lynn went over to take a look and saw that Lauren had a very gruesome wound on her back, and the scales around the wound on her skin had been shattered.

Lauren's scales are extremely hard; even a musket might not be able to hurt her.

The knight wielding two swords could shatter scales with a single strike; it couldn't be done with a simple iron sword. Lynn touched his wound; the broken scales near the wound were fragmented, indicating they had been directly pulverized by some powerful force.

The skin and flesh on the surface of the wound were torn open, and the ribs on the back could even be seen. A small crack was cut into one of the ribs that was directly subjected to the force.

"Let me do it." Lynn knelt down and took the needle and thread from Bova's hand to stitch up the wound.

Lynn looked at Lauren's wounds and pondered what method he should use to repair... no, to treat the injury.

I almost had a professional accident; I recently conducted a lot of experiments and tests on drugs and related substances for mutated lizardmen in Harlem's lab.

Now, whenever I see Lauren's familiar, bloody lizardman body, I can't help but think of the mutated lizardmen I dissected.

Lynn quickly treated the wound, and the stitches were dense and neat, following the muscle texture of the area.

"The wound has been stitched up." Lynn stood up.

"Avoid strenuous exercise recently," Lynn emphasized.

"I didn't do any strenuous exercise," Lauren said, scratching her head.

Lynn glanced at Lauren. "Don't let this turn my lab into a nursery before we even get to the wizarding academy."

Lauren's face instantly turned awkward, his eyes darting around, and he scratched his bald head, unable to stop chuckling.

Lynn shook his head, then sat on the bed and began to meditate.

He needs to recover his mental strength quickly.

For a wizard, maintaining a strong mental capacity is essential for ensuring their sense of security!

……

the other side.

Inside a snow-white building on the street, Harlin sat opposite a handsome young wizard with gorgeous clothes and blond hair that reached his shoulders.

"You've been sitting for five hours and thirty minutes. If you really have nowhere to sleep, I can give you my room," Diasterdan said helplessly.

"That young apprentice is your student? You care about him so much?" Diasterdan asked curiously.

"What's it to you?" Harlin glanced at him.

Diasterdan smiled.

"Since you've stopped me, I'll still give you face." The noble wizard apprentices who died outside had nothing to do with him. The only one related to him by blood, Antina, was more than a dozen generations removed from him. Their blood ties were as thin as paper.

The only thing that caught his eye was that Antina's wizarding talent was reasonably good. If she was willing to work hard and had some luck, she still had a slight chance of becoming a formal wizard.

Antina was fine, but he couldn't be bothered with the others.

"However, I'm still curious. Given your personality, why would you take such good care of a wizard apprentice? Could he be your illegitimate son?"

"That's not right either." Before Harlin could answer, Diasterdan shook his head.

If he were an illegitimate child, he wouldn't be in the Kingdom of Erdoru; he should have participated in the Abyss Wizard Academy's assessment directly through internal channels.

"They've invited you to join the Erdoru Wizarding Mutual Aid Association several times. After all, you were a wizard who came from the Kingdom of Erdoru. Actually, there are quite a few organizations similar to ours in the wizarding world. Some are from a certain ethnic group, some are from a country or region. Joining our Erdoru Wizarding Mutual Aid Association will also give you access to trading channels and resource exchanges," Diasterdan said. "This time, they entrusted me to invite you."

"You've talked a bit too much this time," Harlin said coldly.

Diasterdan said, "Oh dear, I've been conducting experiments for so long, I've been in seclusion for too long, I can't help but ramble on when I see a living person, you won't mind if I talk too much, will you?"

Harlin sensed something and suddenly turned his head to look to the left.

There was a wall on the left, and nothing there.

Diasterdan followed Harlin's gaze and said, "Hey, that apprentice you took a liking to is back. What's he up to?"

On the other side of the street, a tall, thin man dressed in a black wizard's robe and wearing a mask walked into the street with somewhat stiff steps.

The pure gold mask has only two holes for the eyes.

Behind the hole, a pair of dark eyes, hidden beneath the hood of a wizard's robe, slowly scanned the surroundings.

This was Lynn, who, after meditating to restore his mental strength, spent a little time crafting himself a golden mask.

There weren't many materials in the lab, just a little bit of gold that wasn't very useful.

The inside of this golden mask is engraved with simple array patterns, which can slightly interfere with the perception of spiritual power.

However, this is only to a certain extent; if others disregard Lynn's feelings and insist on forcibly probing, it is still impossible to stop them.

Of course, generally speaking, unless there is a conflict, wizards would not be so impolite as to spy on each other.

Lynn stopped and looked at the familiar red short hair in the corner of the wall not far away.

It was already past midnight, and most of the wizard apprentices didn't have any spatial items, so they could only find a place near the building to rest for the night.

Fortunately, it didn't rain tonight; the moonlight was hazy, and the night was quiet.

Lynn sighed inwardly.

After being ambushed and forced to make a tactical retreat, I tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep. I even got up in the middle of the night to meditate and restore my mental strength. How come you can still sleep?

Since you like resting so much, then sleep soundly forever. A hand reached out from under Lynn's black robe.

Subtle fluctuations of spiritual energy flowed...

Just as Lynn had guessed, some people had considered the possibility that Lynn might come back, but found it somewhat absurd.

Moreover, they were resting next to the wizard's building. Even if Lynn was incredibly audacious, he wouldn't dare to do evil under the wizard's nose.

boom!!!

The explosion of the Lesser Fireball spell ripped through the night sky.
