Chapter 27 Nobles (Part 1)

"Is the person inside?" Hampton walked downstairs to a small, separate meeting room at the back of the building.

Behind Hampton followed four burly men.

The old drunkard led the way and opened the door.

Inside, a boy was sitting on a table, leaning back, with the chair supported only by two legs.

Hamilton, who was following behind Big Gold Tooth, was a little nervous. It was the first time he had done something like this, and he felt a little guilty.

If Annika knew what she had done, she would definitely be very angry and scold herself.

Hamilton thought to himself.

Because of his large physique, he had been recruited by several people before, but Hamilton was unwilling to become someone who would hurt others.

Big Gold Tooth laughed loudly, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.

Standing behind Big Gold Tooth, Hamilton, who was deep in thought, heard a familiar voice and looked up in the direction from which it came.

The next moment, Hamilton's eyes widened instantly, staring like saucers, filled with surprise and disbelief.

But then came worry and guilt, that he had actually run into Lynn in this very place.

He knew Big Gold Tooth wasn't a good person. He'd heard Lynn was looking for someone, probably him.

Hamilton stared intently at Lynn.

Lynn placed her index finger to her lips at just the right moment.

Hamilton was briefly surprised, then became nervous.

He didn't know how to get out of his current situation.

Lynn looked at Big Gold Tooth and asked, "Big Gold Tooth, how much money would it cost if I wanted to find someone?"

"Looking for out-of-towners?" Big Gold Tooth grinned. "That'll be harder. So many people come to Bangor Port every day. If they're locals, it's easier for me to find them, but out-of-towners are more troublesome. I can find them—but it'll cost extra."

"They're just ordinary people, how much would it cost to find them?" Lynn asked.

"The speed at which we find them depends on how much money you pay us." Big Gold Tooth exhaled a cloud of smoke, his eyes growing increasingly brazen.

Looking for a commoner? Big Gold Tooth sized Lynn up and down; judging from his clothes, he didn't seem like a rich person.

The drunkard said they were from out of town who had arrived by horse-drawn carriage from the inn.

Those who are truly powerful and influential own their own carriages; they have no need to ride in hotel carriages.

Big Gold Tooth grew increasingly certain, and his gaze became increasingly malevolent.

"But you look so clean and tidy. If you don't have enough money, I can recommend a good way to make money," Big Gold Tooth said with a malicious smile.

As he spoke, Big Gold Tooth walked up to Lynn and reached out his big hand to grab Lynn's shoulder.

Lynn placed her hand on Big Gold Tooth's palm.

Big Gold Tooth's wrist suddenly bent, and an even greater force came from the other end of his wrist.

Big Gold Tooth let out a scream and hurriedly said, "Come here quickly and subdue him."

Hamilton swung his elbow at the waist of the man next to him and punched another man in the back of the head with his right hand.

The man who had been hit in the waist knelt on the ground, clutching his waist and panting heavily.

The other man felt the pain, but reacted quickly, turning around and fighting with Hamilton.

The last man looked at Lynn, then at Hamilton, and chose to save the boss first amidst Big Gold Tooth's cries for help.

Hamilton grabbed the man and shouted to Lynn, "Run! Lynn!"

He didn't know what to do. The only solution this honest, even somewhat clumsy man could think of at that moment was to get Lynn out of there.

He hadn't considered whether Lynn could escape even if he left the yard; he only hoped that his missing son could escape his current predicament—in his own way.

Lynn remained expressionless when suddenly the ground beneath his feet caved in, and the man, who had only taken two steps, fell into a gaping maw.

Cut it off at the waist.

Colorful internal organs mixed with a large amount of blood flowed all over the ground.

The iron earthworm that emerged from the soil, its three-meter length now transformed into height, stubbornly stood in place.

"We'll see how you do, Mr. Gold Tooth." Lynn let go of his hand.

Iron Earthworm flicked its head and knocked Big Gold Tooth to the ground.

Big Gold Tooth got up from the ground.

He forced a smile despite looking somewhat disheveled.

He never expected that this handsome young man was actually a superhuman. If he had known he was a superhuman, he would never have met Lynn!

Damn old drunkard!

Big Gold Tooth was furious.

"I came here with good intentions, but some of your actions have deeply hurt me and disappointed me," Lynn said.

"I'm willing to compensate you, sir," Big Gold Tooth said hastily, desperate to save his life.

"I think the room is a bit noisy," Lynn said.

Big Gold Tooth understood Lynn's meaning, and some of the underlings outside heard the commotion inside and wanted to come in.

"Park everything outside!" Big Gold Tooth yelled at the door.

He didn't want his underlings to see him in such a disheveled state.

"Pansen, Ford, you two stop here and guard the gate to prevent anyone else from coming in," Big Gold Tooth said to his two other henchmen.

The other two henchmen who were fighting with Hamilton immediately stopped.

Then he quickly stood guard at the door of the room to prevent the other underlings from entering.

Big Gold Tooth rolled his eyes, glancing at Hamilton and then at Lynn.

Now that they were temporarily out of danger, Big Gold Tooth began to think.

Hamilton seemed to know Lynn. At first, Big Gold Tooth thought Lynn was sent by another gang to kill him, but if he were an assassin, he would have acted immediately.

If I can build a good relationship with Lynn, wouldn't I also be able to utilize the power of superhumans?

Big Gold Tooth had heard of superhumans, and as a dock rat, he knew more than the average person.

He knew that there existed a group of extraordinary individuals within the kingdom, unknown to ordinary people.
