Chapter 104 Abyss Market (Part Two)

Lynn led the brute demon down the hillside, the demon following closely behind, serving as a very competent bodyguard. In this market, Lynn saw many demons he usually only saw in books and picture books.

The Spiked Demon has pale white skin and a humanoid body composed of what appears to be rotting flesh. Beneath its decaying skin lies a mixture of rotten muscle and resilient bones that look like they've been soaked in water and are swollen.

The most dangerous aspect of these demons is their distinctive bony spikes, sharp weapons protruding from their bones. When needed, spiked demons can shoot their spikes like porcupines, covering extremely long distances. These spikes also possess a certain amount of toxin; while the toxin is weak against other demons of the same species, it is highly infectious to other creatures.

As for the Lesser Demons, they are the lowest-ranking demons in the Abyss.

They are frenzied and bloodthirsty, brutal and cowardly, and like to gang up on their prey. To describe them in a slightly insulting way, they are goblins from the abyss.

When the Shadow Demon saw Lynn standing in front of the stall, he opened his mouth and spoke a bunch of deep, obscure abyssal demonic words.

Lynn looked at the brute behind him and gestured for it to help translate.

"It's asking you if you want to buy a demon," said the Brute Demon.

"I won't buy them, these demons are too low-level," Lynn said.

"I think so too. They're all skinny, and they're not even as tall as me combined." The Brute Demon nodded in deep agreement.

It gestured, indicating that even these lesser demons and several spiked demons combined couldn't fill its stomach.

"Judging from your scars, you must have been in quite a few battles," Lynn said.

With a demon's self-healing ability, healing its wounds is naturally not difficult. However, some demons can only heal their injuries without healing their scars; for them, this is more like an honor or a badge of honor.

The medals on this brute demon's body were so numerous that they were impossible to count.

Upon hearing Lynn's question, the brute's eyes dimmed, and he touched the scars on his body.

Besides the Shadow Fiend's stall, there are also stalls in front of other demons that sell demons.
