Chapter 98 Tony Discovered My Identity

Chapter 98 Tony Discovered My Identity (7th Update)

Despite his frustration, Tony decided to get down to business.

He waved his hand, and Scarlett Johansson, dressed as a female secretary, came up, opened a folder in front of Ang, and showed him the official documents inside.

Ang quickly scanned the document using his exceptional eyesight and perception, and then signed it.

This is about the transfer of Stark Enterprises shares; it states that Tony is acquiring Ang's shares at a 10% premium.

Sigh! Tony's move is far inferior to that of Saudi Aramco, those big fish that acquire shares in a Chinese company at an 88% premium. Of course, there are accompanying clauses, but that's a true win-win situation.

Although he had the urge to complain, Ang didn't actually have much of an opinion, since he knew what Tony had encountered in the plot of "Iron Man 2".

In the end, it's just a matter of going through the motions.

He snapped his fingers, and Black Canary came over and served them champagne.

Tony looked at Helen, who seemed a little dazed in the distance, with a hint of curiosity, and asked Ang, "Where did you get that?"

"I found her in Greece. She doesn't even speak English."

Tony looked embarrassed. "No trouble?"

"No trouble."

Tony looked like he understood, took a sip of Ang's champagne, and finally sat down.

Upon seeing this, Ang gestured, and Black Canary led Black Widow to the next lounge.

When they were alone, Ang finally asked, "Is there trouble?"

Tony's expression was subtle: "Yes. You know what's on my chest."

Tony unbuttoned his shirt, revealing a shockingly large chest. Iron Man's power core was embedded in his chest, but now the surrounding skin was covered with blue veins, making it look like a giant octopus clinging to his chest, with octopus tentacles extending outwards.

"Poisoning?"

"Palladium poisoning. I'm likely to die." After all, Ang had helped Tony back in Afghanistan and knew the whole story of how Tony ended up like this, so Tony had nothing to hide from him.

"Have you asked Ethan yet?"

"None of us have any good solutions."

"I'm not good at this," Ang said, shrugging. "How about I ask Batman for you?"

Upon hearing this, Tony's face showed a subtle expression of reluctance. As the saying goes, rivals are enemies, and Tony, unaware of Wayne's true identity, wondered, "In the end, there really won't be any way to contact him again."

"Then why did you come to see me?"

Tony held his hands together, fingers interlaced, and said, "If I really die, I want to leave my fortune to Pepper."

Ang paused for a moment, then raised his wine glass: "A tribute to love."

For a woman who partyes every night to be willing to leave her entire fortune to a woman who is not yet married, that can only be described as true love.

Tony clinked glasses with Ang: "I...I know I've offended a lot of people. I was just saying, if some guys target Potts after I die, could you please take care of them for me?"

Ang suddenly chuckled. Who would have thought that the famous Iron Man would come here to entrust his orphan?

But given Tony's current situation, it's not surprising at all.

Ang originally intended to punch Tony in the chest, but hesitated for a moment and instead gently patted Tony's shoulder: "You should prepare for both possibilities. First, keep a sum of money that no one but Miss Potts can get, and prepare an evacuation plan; second, do your best to survive. You did it in Afghanistan, and you can do it now."

"What if?"

"If all else fails, come to me. I can try to suck those things out for you. Of course, you're on your own." Ang flipped his right hand, and in his palm, an unknown force was condensing into a slowly rotating sphere.

Tony's expression was truly priceless: "Ahem! This is what you always say, 'The end of science is metaphysics'?"

Ang touched his nose sheepishly: Oops, I accidentally exported culture.

In any case, having a backup plan is always a good thing, and Tony's little bit of resentment immediately lessened. So, having gotten into the conversation, they started talking about other things.

"Ang, I've been in a lot of trouble lately, from congressional hearings to the sabotage by Hammer Corporation. Those guys are actually developing a robot army similar to Iron Man. They don't even know their own limitations; their technology is so low-level. If it weren't for the recent zombie outbreak, Congress wouldn't have suddenly taken the robot soldier program so seriously."

Ang rolled his eyes, suddenly realizing that being forced to sell his Stark Industries shares was a good thing. Who knows, he might be the one facing a congressional hearing in the US.

Ang is highly skeptical of the intelligence of those politicians promoted by big conglomerates.

Does your TikTok account automatically connect to your home Wi-Fi?

How could those lawmakers even ask such a brain-dead question? What kind of social media app is it if it's not connected to the internet?

To put it bluntly, it's just that members of Congress don't like Tony, so they first establish that Iron Man, represented by Tony, has an original sin (not sharing technology with the US military for free), and then they attack Tony.

"Hammer? He's just a clown. Instead of worrying about him, you should worry about whether this guy with an IQ of 80 will be used by bad guys. After all, his factory is quite lucrative." Ang bluntly belittled Tony's rival, which greatly pleased Tony.

Tony and Ang clinked glasses again and downed their drinks in one gulp: "Birds of a feather flock together, as expected. Hats off to our dumb rivals."

His mouth is never short of sharp sarcasm and irony, which is very "Tony".

"By the way, your female secretary..."

Before Ang could even open his mouth, Tony cut him off: "Hey, even if I love Pepper, that doesn't stop me from appreciating beautiful women. I'm not giving her up to you."

Ang rolled his eyes and leaned closer: "Be careful, I smell a spy on her."

Tony, who had been a little tipsy, suddenly sobered up: "What? You mean seriously?!"

"My martial arts instincts tell me that her skills surpass even those of my Lance sisters. This is not the kind of skill a secretary should possess."

Tony knew that Kratos was accompanied by two sisters disguised as female androids. Based on information leaked from the Battle of the Empire State Building, Tony was well aware that the Lance sisters were formidable fighters.

This news truly gave Tony a fright.

Seeing Tony's expression, Ang resisted the urge to sell out S.H.I.E.L.D., and tried to calm Tony down a bit: "But don't worry, I didn't sense any hostility from her. In my opinion, she was sent by some government organization to monitor you."

Tony was momentarily embarrassed, recalling his recent "fierce and indifferent" approach to Congress. How could those self-important lords possibly approve of him?

Tony suddenly felt relieved: "Okay, I'll deal with Natalie's matter later."

After rambling on for a while, Tony left satisfied. However, his secretary, after finishing work and returning to the safe house, immediately made a phone call: "Boss! Tony has discovered my identity."
