Godslayer in the Marvel Universe

Chapter 93 S-Rank Artifact (2nd Update)

The only question now is: will the Greek gods on the other side turn against him, Ang?

Leaving aside the gods like Athena who supported the Greeks, Achilles' mother, Thetis, was a typical son-obsessed womanizer. To protect her son, she repeatedly tried to burn Achilles, removing his mortal body, and then using divine magic to restore him. Finding that she couldn't easily make Achilles a god, she then threw him into the River Styx.

Ang's conclusion was—get out of there as soon as possible.

Ang continued reading and found that Achilles had also given him a bunch of skills.

Aside from fighting-type skills, the most core ones are:

[The host has acquired the Constitution-based branch skill (Basic Styx Body): The host's passive Resilient Skin has been upgraded to (Styx Skin), rated as Physical Resistance Lv60. The host's default armor value is 600 points, with a hardness equivalent to 60mm thick T-34 tank armor. When the host is focused, the armor value is 1000 points.]

[(Mythical Beast Riding): The host can ride or tame Greek mythical beasts and mythical beasts, excluding dragons.]

[(Unyielding): The host inherited Achilles' powerful physique. Even if vital organs such as the brain or heart are destroyed, the host can continue fighting for a period of time using the power of the soul. If the host receives sufficient healing to compensate for the damage during this period, the host will be resurrected. This skill has a cooldown period of 365 natural days.]

[Achilles' Wrath: Upon activation, the host enters a (Valiant) state, significantly increasing stamina, strength, and agility, and becoming immune to all willpower-based skills. However, this also places the host in a state of inescapable, life-or-death struggle until all enemies within sight are defeated.]

[(Low-Tier Divinity): Because the host has absorbed Achilles' divinity, all of the host's attacks will inflict a small amount of true damage, which the opponent can only offset with the corresponding divinity.]

There are five skills in a row, and almost none of them are useless or trash.

The only minor issue is the [Body of the Styx] skill; this skill requires a weak point to be established, causing five times the damage upon being attacked. Ang thought for a moment and set it on his own…

Well, that's a secret.

Besides these skills directly stolen from the [Godslayer System], there are also a bunch of treasures that outsiders can see.

For example, [Class C Artifact (Achilles' Universe): A divine shield crafted by Hephaestus, the god of craftsmen, belonging to the category of armor-bound barrier artifacts. It projects the world as seen by Achilles, with ocean currents surging around it due to the blessing of the sea goddess Thetis. Since the host is not Achilles himself, the power rating of this artifact is lowered.]

[D-Rank Artifact (Achilles' Armor): Also a masterpiece created by the god of craftsmen. The complete set weighs 188 kg. When worn, it increases the wearer's Strength by 68 points, Stamina by 100 points, and Agility by 80 points. Physical Resistance Lv60. It can repair itself.]

Ang didn't really like this thing because it reduced agility, but it can be worn on Kratos' suit!

Really fragrant!

Finally, there's Achilles' chariot:

[Tier A Artifact (The Trojan Tragedy): Due to the slaying of its host by the famous horse (Pedasos), it automatically transformed into a heroic warhorse. Together with the immortal steeds (Xershentus) and (Balios) bestowed by Poseidon, the chariots they pull can ravage the battlefield at supersonic speeds, inflicting additional damage proportional to their speed. They become a massive meat grinder rampaging across the Trojan battlefield.]

Ang was already very excited when he saw this.

He hadn't anticipated that the bigger surprise was yet to come—

S-rank!?

To be honest, Ang was completely baffled at this point. He had never heard of the Trojan Twins before, but as he read on, it dawned on him.

That's absolutely outrageous!

[S-Rank Divine Weapon Dual Blades (Troy Twins): Because the host slew the great hero Achilles in a direct confrontation, and was impressed by the host's heroism, Achilles chose to have his remnant soul reside in one of the host's blades. Hector's soul, remaining within Achilles' divine sword, chose to reside in the other blade. The dual blades' attributes and special skills are for the host to discover on their own.]

Ang was initially embarrassed, then overjoyed.

Every time he cosplayed Kratos, wielding a knock-off "Chaos Blade" made of titanium alloy, he was initially quite pleased with himself. However, as his strength increased, no matter how good the melee weapons Tony crafted were, Ang still felt that they were ultimately just empty shells.

Now, based on a titanium alloy battle blade and imbued with the souls of two of the most renowned heroes of the Trojan War, this thing has been upgraded to an S-class artifact in an instant.

Ang was surprised, but then it dawned on him. In mythology, Achilles appeared to his son in a dream after his death, saying that he had become a god.

The soul of a true god is attached to a knife whose craftsmanship far surpasses that of the Bronze Age. It would be strange if this wasn't a divine weapon.

This is absolutely amazing!

He was so excited that during the parade, when he noticed Penthesilea staring at the Sword of Achilles in his hand, he exclaimed excitedly, "What? You want it? Here you go!"

The Amazon queen's face lit up with delight; the sword of her mortal enemy of ten years was truly enticing!

She almost blurted out her agreement, but then became embarrassed: "That's not right! This is a true divine sword. You killed Achilles with your own hands; it rightfully belongs to you."

Ang laughed and shoved the D-grade divine sword into Penthesilea's arms: "It's yours now."

"How can this be allowed!?" the Queen exclaimed anxiously.

Ang patted the strange twin blades hanging at his waist and whispered in the Queen's ear, "My twin blades are imbued with the souls of Achilles and Hector; they are now mid-tier divine artifacts. You should take this sword. Without you taking a blow and tricking Achilles into abandoning his sword to kill Paris, I wouldn't have been able to kill Achilles at all."

The Queen's cheeks flushed instantly.

It's because of shame!

To put it bluntly, isn't this just her using her body to make Achilles act crazy and become hesitant?

Achilles, not wanting her to die immediately, chose to leave the sword in her lower abdomen. Otherwise, Ang would indeed not have had a chance to succeed.

The logic is sound, but there's a slight element of error involved.

On the other hand, the enemy's sword is really tempting!

Firstly, Ang possessed a superior artifact, and secondly, she had indeed sold her blood. Gritting her teeth, the Queen nodded: "Alright! I'll accept this. But I will definitely compensate you."

Despite the short distance of only two or three kilometers, it took Ang almost an hour to reach the palace, thanks to the enthusiastic support of the soldiers and citizens.

As expected, the Trojan royal family held a grand welcoming ceremony for the heroes' triumphant return. The palace, which had not been repaired for ten years, was decorated with lanterns and colorful streamers, and servants had covered up some holes in the walls with long, slightly yellowed cloths.

The pale-faced servants were in disarray, while the wounded Trojan royal guards stood spiritedly on both sides of the King's Road, casting grateful glances at Ang's chariot.

At the foot of the long steps of the palace, the king personally greeted Priam, but the smile on his face was rather forced.

Unfortunately, his most outstanding son and his most brilliant son both died within a week of each other.

He really couldn't be happy.
